In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Gwahahahahaaaa!!" A loud gurgling laughter erupted from 627's mouth of horrible breath and viscious teeth. It was always so funny, so thrilling, to see his victims run away in fear. All they are doing with such a move is post-poning their humiliating defeats. Oh what a deliscious JOKE!!! Even those shadowy dark monsters were taking part in this human hunt!
"HaHAAA!" The red experiment laughed triumphantly as he managed to jump over a couple black creatures, crushing a smaller one when he landed. Whatever these shadows were, they were easier to stomp on than the old genetic experiments. 627 paused for a moment, allowing his "snacks" to run farther away. This would make the hunt longer and enjoyable ..... He remembered when the black-haired girl (Ikari) looked back at him in the eyes. He had no clue what she was doing, but all it did was drive him to shred those girls to pieces!
627, still standing on the shadow, barked loudly. With one foot on the shadow's back, 627 used his other foot to press and slide against the ground. He was pretty much "surfing" after the girls, using the dark creature as a surf-board ...... surfing ..... He remembered that sport on Hawaii ...... "EVIL!" The red devil's claws reached out to grab the red-haired girl's hand.
Another individual saved, another point for the good side!
However, as the rescued lizard was making his way over a dark portal opened. Those things never meant any good, and the things that came out of them had the same intent. Sora wasn't about to let someone like that get the better hand in this situation, no sir-ee. But what was to be expected from the portal wasn't anything like the actual turn out. From the portal emerged two familiar individuals; Maverick and the King. There was one other with them... but Sora hadn't ever caught his name or anything.
"Y-Your Majesty!" he gave a quick bow-- something that he never really could get out of the habit of doing-- before turning his attention to Maverick.
"So-Sora?!. What are you doing here?"
That was a great question... if only Sora knew himself...
With a nervous smile he rubbed the back of his neck, "Well, uh... y'know... normal hero stuff."
It was for that brief moment he had forgotten what had been going on, what he had stopped doing before he had helped out the lizard. Following Riku... defending the others; that was the snap back into reality. When that snap occurred, boy it took a toll... Quickly his head turned to where the teen had ran off to, his teeth gritting, looking back.
"Hey! I'd love to hang out and talk, but... I really gotta be going to help my friends!" he started jogging backwards slightly, a very nervous, shy, expression on his face. "Catch up with you afterwards! Honest!"
Turning around, he quickly made a mad dash off, chasing after where the girls and his best friend had left off. He'd catch up to Riku soon, heck, he knew he was faster than him! No sweat!
*changes her character order for the time being* And also... I'm not going to post as Kairi for the time being, as I've got two people currently that I'm looking at to take her position. One person still has yet to get back with me on their profile and my proposal, and the other one still has yet to even get a profile posted, but shows interest and is... a rather great Kairi from what I've seen of her.
And my muses don't seem to be cooperating with me all that well when pertaining to this thread... which... leaves me rather disappointed and disgruntled.
[Ikari]
The female fire-user was all for fun and games, but in all actuality, this wasn't fun and this most definitely wasn't a game. This stupid, little, red koala annoyance was following them and obviously had ill intentions towards them. That was proven by the fact that when Ikari looked again, the little red creature had jumped up and had angled himself towards Kairi. The black-haired girl gave a sharp tug and pulled Kairi out of the way while swiftly unstrapping the sheathed scimitar from where it was and swung it forwards to repel the creature.
"Dammit, Silver, I thought you were taking care of this little pest!" Hikari irritably muttered, holding up the sheathed blade defensively and only glancing to Kairi for a moment before pushing her forwards more down the hall, motioning for her to be continuing her way down the hall, despite all the Heartless that were beginning to show up. the fire-user would have gone to slay them, but this pest had just not taken priority on her list, as the little beast had just tried to attack one of her friends.
"Kairi, get out of here, keep going till you find the King!" Ikari ordered, not averting her gaze from the little cretin. It got past Riku... got past Riku. After getting to know him for some time, she knew that the silver-haired teen was no pushover... and that definitely meant that this creature wasn't normal... she'd had to keep her eyes open and keep on her toes.
[Riku]
Way to the Dawn still firmly clutched in his grasp, Riku had found himself rushing down the castle hallways, dodging and swinging at Heartless to get them out of the way so that they didn't impede travel. It wasn't long till he found himself to he looking at a rather disgruntled Hikari and a Kairi that had been pushed forwards by the black-haired girl's actions. His eyes moved to be viewing the fact that she held her sheathed scimitar out in front of her defensively and seemed rather perturbed.
Hnh... her perturbed wasn't all that big of a deal, though... she was almost always irritated from what he saw of her (even if they had somehow managed to have become fairly decent friends with one another). Riku took this chance to steal a quick glance behind him, awaiting Sora to be trailing behind him at any moment now.
Ah... there he was.... A little late, but heh, then again, Sora never really was good at keeping up with Riku. However, this was no time to be smug... not at all. The castle was what he was worried about... the castle and the King.
(Im not going to wait for Maleficent, I want to get this done so my grand master plan can take place. *Not hinting at something with Sora*)
Giving a sigh of....well nothing really Maverick thought to himself at Sora's words. Surprising enough Maverick wasn't surprised at the choice of words Sora chose. Though for right now all he could do was sit back and let the others deal with that insane garden.
Walking over to Rook and then shoving him towards the direction of the door Marluxia shot a glance over at the Witch. Let's just hope that she catches on that Marluxia can handle this now. All he needed Rook to do was show everyone that he has turned to darkness, their reaction should be enough to convince him.
"All I need from you right now Rook is to follow me"
((OOC: Dudes and Dudettes, first off, I apologize for posting out of character right now. Shiay and I have agreed that we could arrange the order a little. Instead of coming after Rook's turn, I will be after Shiay's turn ..... which means Cranlon doesn't have to wait for my post anymore ..... Sorry again))
((Given the general lack of people IN the posting order who are not regularly posting, I don't think it's much of a problem, nor do I really think an order is relevant anymore. We might as well just start posting whenever it's opportune and logically necessary.))
Rook huffed a bit as Marluxia shoved him along, "All I need from you right now Rook is to follow me"
"I know... just point me in a direction... I'll do what you need me to..." He didn't see the King around anymore. Maybe he had moved on to another fight, though he doubted the mouse had moved very far from.
Rook cursed his position and followed Marluxia. This was hardly where he wanted to be right now, not with him at any rate. Rook was brought to this castle to help destroy Marluxia. Now forced to aide him lest someone he partially didn't know would come to harm. But he just couldn't let go of the thought, 'Jason was a Nobody too and he deserved to be helped. Plus, she's a part of Kairi...'
And so, Rook had switched sides. Not willingly. Not to serve his own need. But to save the "life" of someone who couldn't feel grateful for the action. He silently called himself an idiot, and just as quietly thanked any and all dieties that none of his other friends had shown up to see him like this.

((*headdesks* I'm sorry that I keep missing this. I actually keep forgetting about this site. On top of that.... This is the only thread I am in, and needless to say... Not a whole of posts get made in it. Sorry if I have been holding things up for you.))
Maleficent watched as Marluxia returned with Rook.... Though things were different now. It seemed as though Rook had now been chosen to work with Marluxia, either by blackmail, overpowering, or choice. It did not matter to Maleficent. Her job was made easier as one more had just joined her side. Though perhaps Marluxia was trying to show to Maleficent that he could handle the rest. However... She found that highly doubtful. The castle was nearly under her full control anyway. The only thing that remained was one final push once those who used the light were removed from this world...
She snapped her fingers as the thorns lit up with fire once more near where the group was. Fireballs, a bit larger then the last time, would shoot out at everyone in sight, though she controlled it to not hit Marluxia or Rook. The lizard who had stopped her before... She could care less. The thorny vines now covered the entirety of the castle. It would not be long before the castle was hers. But so long as the dwellers of light remained in this castle, she could not complete her objective. Hopefully Marluxia and Rook could handle that, with the help of her fire. For now... She would wait a bit longer.
"Sora! It's good to see you're here!" A small smile crossed Mickey's face despite the state of his home. If Sora was at the castle, that meant the other two Keyblade wielders were here as well! Hope began filling the King's mind and he seemed to regain the will to fight once again.
He decided it would be best to follow Sora and speak to Riku and Kairi himself. He looked back at Maverick. He would let the boy come if he wished. Staying here by himself might not be the best idea. He took off following Sora and waved at Maverick to follow.
Another dark portal appeared beside them. Mikael gripped his weapons tightly, ready to strike whatever was comming out of the Corridors of Darkness. To his relief, it was only the bone kid. Unforutnately he didn´t manage to escape unharmed. "Woah, I thought maybe that witch or the flower guy were comming." he said, looking at him.
It seemed that this kid, Sora, was very important. The bone guy and King Mickey knew him and it was a relief to them that he was here. He also wielded a weird key weapon, similar to King Mickey´s and the red headed´s. The mouse proceeded to move and follow Sora, totally ignoring the lizard. "Heh, I guess I will take care of you later." he told him coldly before turning toward the other boy. "Cure! I know that this isn´t the right moment, but the name´s Mikael." the fire user said before going off to follow Mickey and the key boy, not noticing that a fireball suddenly was shot from a plant and headed toward the lizard.
Passing Ikari, Sora couldn't help but feel a bit guilty... he was supposed to protect his friends, was abandoning her really right? Sure, she could probably handle herself better than a handful of people out there, that still didn't make it right, though.
... What was he talking about? She'd be fine, it wasn't abandonment in a situation like this, she'd catch up. She'd stayed back at the islands for so long because they were there, it wasn't like she was going to give up on them now. They weren't going to leave her, and she wasn't going to be leaving them anytime soon. That was a promise.
Looking up, he saw Riku looking right back at him. That was comforting, he knew Sora was there, Sora knew Riku was there... everything worked out. Like a yawn, though, the motion was contagious, having Sora look behind him, seeing others following behind him. They were a group, they were banded, whatever was going on in the castle right now, it didn't stand a chance against what they were going to make it go through in order to succeed.
But as he looked up, he noticed something else, something important to him.
"Kairi..." he thought to himself.
She was safe, this was good-- no, great! They'd all found one another... they would be together soon enough; laughing, talking... everything that they had done before. This was just another page in the storybook they were creating.
Merely glancing to Sora as he passed, Ikari tightened her grip on Dragon's Flame and then kept her gaze on the little red koala. Now that she had been looking at it for a decent amount of time, the fire-user couldn't help but think that it actually looked at least a little familiar. There was something like it that she had remembered seeing in Radiant Garden... except... it was blue. It had taken off before she had even gotten a chance to actually go and inspect it. Maybe the two were related?
If that were the case...
Holding back a groan, Ikari gritted her teeth and then had flames ignite in her other hand.
[Riku]
Giving a slight sigh of relief of knowing that Kairi was okay and seeing Sora look to her, Riku rose and rested Way to the Dawn on his shoulder, waiting to see if the short-lived absence between the two would turn into somewhat of a sappy reunion. He had to shake his head somewhat and then quickly snap his thoughts out of wherever they were that they were going. Now was certainly no time to be getting nostalgic about their childhood and relationships... that was for certain....
"Sora..." Riku said, looking to his childhood friend and glancing back at Hikari for a moment. He lowered Way to the Dawn and then turned his attention back to the other two, "I think the quicker we get to the disruption, the better...."
Rook paced back and forth in the Main Hall, back and forth before the throne. Marluxia wanted him to turn on his friends, on the King, on anyone who stepped foot through the door with the intent on defending the castle. And the redhead hated that he had to follow up on those orders.
Otherwise, what would happen to Namine? He promised Kairi he would keep an eye on her after that storm, that he would return and visit. She had his card, he had to keep that promise. And since Namine was as much Kairi as Kairi was Namine...
He groaned loudly, and let out a frustrated cry that echoed off the great walls. If only he was stronger. Strong enough to fight back against Marluxia without risking Namine's existence (he dared to call it that). Though.. perhaps with the Assassin not around or tailing him... he could let slip just enough to pass for trying, but allow his allies to carry on with their mission to protect the castle. But that would endanger himself, and Namine if Marluxia found out...
He resummoned the BlackJack and sat down on the steps in front of the throne, spinning the blade against the floor ansd his hand and watching the main door. Combat was still going on outside and it was only a matter of moments before it all filtered back into the largest room inside the castle walls.
Maverick gave a slight sigh when he saw the King beckon him to join them. He wasn't going to sit back and let everyone else enjoy the fun. Taking out his spine and tightening the vertebra in it, Maverick made a pretty effective long sword. He walked over to Soras side and looked upon Marluxia and Maleficent.
"The real question is how do we deal both of them at once" Maverick said unsure of what the plan is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
XI was getting tired of waiting. Actions were needed. With a snap of his fingers a dark portal formed around him and Rook and carried them to the garden.
"Question is. What do we do about that garden"[/b]
"Simple. You do nothing, because there is NOTHING you can do about it." Marluxia announced as he emerged from a portal on the highest point of the garden. Rook along side him.
"What a wonderful reunion this is. Sora. Riku. Kairi. Good to see you again." the Assassin said mockingly as he pulled out Graceful Dahlia. Holding up his free hand, a flurry of rose petals formed and flew over to the trio. Another wave of the hand and XI cast his Magic Bomb on all three.
Looking over at Rook, Marluxia gave a slight nod in the direction of Sora. "I trust you know what to do?"

*takes this moment to point out that Riku, Sora and Kairi are inside the castle, and not out...*
