In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Large Body Heartless were something to laugh at... at first, anyways. Once one realized that they couldn't attack from the front, well, then all laughter ceased and you were racking your brains out trying to figure out a way to defeat it. Kirata, on the other hand, really wanted to run away from the fighting... in fact, she thought she had gotten away from it all once she had finally made it back into to Twilight Town. Obviously, with the enemies that made their presence known, that was hardly the case.
Waiting for Scryxis to complete his attack upon the Heartless, Kirata had already begun to focus her mana in preparation for a Stop cast. The scene was already visualized in her mind-- all the Heartless freezing all of a sudden, that was. Once Scryxis had snapped the Heartless towards the others, Kira had snapped one of her fans forwards, the air around seeming to fluctuate and come to a still halt. The Heartless remained motionless for the time being, and the ginger turned her attention towards her acquaintance.
"Well...truth be told, they are here after me. I think they are anyway. Look, you need to get out of here. No sense risking your life for a perfect stranger."
"It's no problem at all..." Kirata replied, her voice having changed only slightly from what it was due to the events that had just taken place. She closed Aero and pointed to the Heartless with it, "I'm not really one you need to worry about. I'm glad that you do, really, but it's not necessary."
Scryxis made it to her side and he turned to face the enemies as well, but he looked over at Kira with a slick smile. So she wasn't completely helpless, and her power impressed him.
"Alright then, let's give these guys a reason to not want to come back here then."
Using the time while the heartless were all still frozen, Scryxis ran behind the group of defenders and knights. He pushed his hands out in front of him, and macabre shadows began to build up between himself and the heartless. Soon there was a wall, 10' high and 3' thick, directly in the path of the large Fat Body which was frozen in mid-air. Between the wall and the Fat Body, a group of knight heartless frozen in spastic gestures.
"Whenever you're ready, just drop your spell and watch the show."

Wow... I'm going to ever feel like such the hypocrite with this post XD
"Whenever your ready, just drop your spell amd watch the show."
Nodding with a slight grin, due to what Scryxis had done while the Stop spell was in effect, the ginger actually just waited. Due to her time spells not being as strong as the others that were in her arsenal, it was only a couple more seconds before the spell faded and whatever happened... happened.
Also *yes, putting her Instructor cap back on* ^^;; the 'you(r/'re)' that you're using here is wrong. The 'you(r/'re)' that you want to be using there is the 'you're' for the 'you are' combination, as 'your' is the one that signifies ownership.
Also, you're still omitting needed apostrophes ^^;;
(No worries, I'm not gonna complain. I fixed the you're thing...but I couldn't find where the omitted apostrophes are aside from the you're. Also apologies for the shortness of my last post, I didn't want to take control of your magic.)
As the spell broke the giant heartless continued the path of momentum it had been on, directly at the group of knight heartless. The dark warriors turned to run from the living projectile, only to slam into a wall of solid ebony shadow. They didn't even have time to turn and see the Fat Body as it crushed them into dark puffs of cloud against the wall. Scryxis had misjudged the size of the Fat Body though, and it crashed through his wall, slamming into him and blasting him against a building. His breath caught in his chest for a moment, and he slumped onto his knees, one hand falling to the ground for support.
The Fat Body got back to its feet, and the trio of hungry looking monsters began to advance on the two who stood against them. Scryxis had composed himself and moved in beside Kira. He felt the urge, the instinct of the beast pulling at him. It tore at him, trying to release and use the power it had to help them. He kept the transformation in check though, he didn't want to risk Kira seeing him for what he really was.
He bared his teeth like an animal at the creatures, a low growl emanating from within his throat as he stared at them like a predator stalking his prey. His eyes flashed a bright, solid green in the light of a nearby street lamp as he stood his ground in the shadows.

It's quite alright... it's a Stop spell... not like there's really going to be much going on with it. ^^;;
The ginger watched as the scene that had been planned flew into action as soon as her spell faded. All of the ones that had been moved seemed to act as shocked as a being with no feelings or emotions could act due to the sudden change of what it was that they were doing. Due to what was going on, the Knights were crushed and dissipated back into nothingness.
Opening her fan, Aero, back up, Kirata braced herself for combat alongside Scryxis with the Large Body and Defender Heartless that stood before them. She didn't know of what was going on with her acquaintance, as her focus was more on the Heartless than anything else at the moment. Having them here in Twilight Town was unacceptable to her. They endangered lives of the people that she knew and the world she had grown up in.
Kirata looked over as soon as she heard the growl, thinking that there was something else that was dangerous besides the Heartless. It took a split second for it to click in her mind that the sound was actually emanating from Scryxis himself. It was something that Kira fretted over for a few seconds before turning her attention back to the Heartless and starting to focus her mana up for an offensive cast.
Scryxis shook off his rage enough to focus himself into a course of action. He shifted the weight between his feet so that he was evenly balanced, grounded and ready for any required action. He took note that these were slower heartless, and had time to take the offensive.
"Kirata, hit them low. Ill take care of their heads."
His voice was much raspier than before, and maybe even a little deeper. It was still the voice of Scryxis, but there was now a primal sort of undertone. He hailed the shadows to him, storing some as a sheet of black armor that resembled European plate and a pair of bracers. The remaining shadow pooled under his feet, where it formed into a pair of dark pillars which rose and lifted him high enough to jump onto the head of the Fat Body. He simultaneously kicked the heartless in the back of the head while leaping higher into the air.
He had already begun to form the shadows into a box like form. He solidified it in time that it wouldn't fall and crush him, but he could use it to gain momentum the dive attack he was preparing. He had enough time that he could wait and see what Kirata would do, and use that to his advantage.
Thunder spells were something that Kirata enjoyed using, all truth be told, but with the night and how it was, it was way too risky to be casting any type of Thunder spell. Besides... Thunder spells weren't exactly the quietest of spells to be casting, especially when people were getting some well deserved shuteye for the night. Getting awoken by the loud crack of lightning? Most likely not what people want to wake up to... especially when that lightning was happening right outside your window.
"Kirata, hit them low. Ill take care of their heads."
He wanted her to hit them low, huh? Well, that should have been a piece of cake. It was a matter of using either her earth-based magic or the Blizzard spells she had at her disposal. The earth spells would leave the ground ripped and torn apart, so that was scratched off of the list immediately. So... Blizzard spell it was? Yes... though, not just Blizzard, but a Blizzara level spell.
Her mana was nearing it's peak for staying focused for so long without a set spell being used. Now that the ginger knew what it was that she was going to be casting, she quickly arched forwards, snapping both Aero and Aersna towards her foes with the spell rushing forwards as if it were the wind being emitted from the dual spiked fans themselves.
Jagged ice formed on the ground, rushing for the Large Body and Defender Heartless. What better way of going low and being highly offensive at the same time? This was that way. And guess what? The streets didn't get damaged by the spell!
Scryxis took a mental not to make sure never to call this girl delicate again. It was clear by her choice of magic that she was experienced enough to be aware of her surroundings. Not only that, but she was a powerful and skilled caster, having mastered a more advanced level of the ice spell which Scryxis had been on the receiving end of more than once. He grinned at the effect this would have. The jagged spikes would pierce the heavy heartless, but probably not knock them too far into the air.
He had a perfect assist attack for this sort of spell. He cast the shadow he had been wearing as armor into a cloud that spanned over the two defenders. He was positioned above the fat body with a bit of shadow left over, which he formed into a large spear with a painfully jagged tip. He then solidified the shadow cloud into ten projectiles, five for each Defender, which resembled spikes of about a foot in length. They plummeted down upon the otherwise distracted enemies, the spikes riddling the shield carrying beasts several times before the heartless burst into shadows.
Then Scryxis fell upon the remaining Fat Body, driving the ebony spear into the heartless' neck. It immediately disappeared into darkness, leaving Scryxis to plummet into the jagged spikes that were his enemies undoing. He managed to drive the spear into the ground, transforming it into a small pillar with a flat base which he could jump to safety from. He landed with hardly a sound, kneeling for a moment to absorb the shock of the fall. He gave Kirata an approving smile.
"Apologies for treating you like a fragile piece of glass before. Obviously I didn't know what I was talking about. It was an honor to fight by your side, Kirata."
Delicate? Not when it came to magic-- perhaps when it pertained to actual melee combat, then one would be obligated to call Kirata delicate. He hand to hand mastery was no where near what others were, and she actually kind of admired the people that could really do hand-to-hand combat well. The ginger just had dual spiked fans... that was good enough for her as they assisted with her Aero magic and if enemies were to get too close, she could use the spiked portion of her fans for a quick offensive attack.
After having cast the spell, it was then that Kirata actually pondered how long it would have taken for the ice to actually melt. Ah well... the kids would have something to play with and/or contemplate in the morning? It would melt eventually, that was the point. She really shouldn't have been putting that much thought into that... really. After all, there were a lot of other things going on around her and Scryxis, like the Large Body and Defender Heartless that they were fighting with.
As the female turned her attention back upon to the battle scene, she saw as Scryxis took care of the Heartless after her Blizzara spell. Running up to him to see if he was hurt in any way, Kirata noticed that he gave her a smile, and she returned the notion.
"Apologies for treating you like a fragile piece of glass before. Obviously I didn't know what I was talking about. It was an honor to fight by your side, Kirata."
"Hehe, it's fine," Kirata replied, closing her fans and placing them back into her holsters. She shook her bangs from her eyes and kept the smile on her face, "and an honour it was to fight alongside with you, Scryxis."
At first Scryxis was comfortable with the fact that she didn't probe into his history or business at all. She had seen, and heard, the more bestial side of him and here she was not even blinking an eye about it. Of course he was used to not getting many questions about it, just a lot of people fleeing from him. She did neither, however, and Scryxis was beginning to wonder why. He decided to put the matter aside for now.
He noticed the sky, still quite dark and well within his active time zone. Being a creature who fought with shadows, Scryxis trained his body into a more nocturnal existence. He stroked his fingers through his hair, pushing it back wards to reveal his full face, illuminated by the white glow of the moon. As he let it loose it fell back in front of his eyes just before he turned his gaze back to Kirata. There was an inquisitive look on his face.
"Kirata, I don't suppose I could ask a favor of you, could I?"
There was a reason that Kirata didn't ask... actually, several. The first reason being that she was a polite person and asking someone about their personal business... well that was just being nosy, wasn't it? It was that that kept her from asking, she didn't like being nosy, because it normally resulted in people not wanting to share it-- prime example with Hikari when she asked people what was up with their past... then again... it may have been the way that that girl asked.
The other reason that Kirata did ask was because she had seen a lot of things already. Those things varied, and traveling from world to world like she had, it was kind of to be expected that she had seen those strange things. Then,of course, there were the Heartless and Nobodies that the worlds needed to be rid of. If she could handle those things knowing very what it is that they could do, then why be struck with fear by what an acquaintance of yours turned into? Especially if said acquaintance was nice to you.
"Kirata, I don't suppose I could ask a favor of you, could I?"
"Not at all!" Kirata replied, looking up at Scryxis, "what would it be?"
Scryxis flicked his hook chain outwards and snapped it back, wrapping it round his shoulder and then locking it back into place.
"Well, I don't really know the area very well. I won't go into the reasoning, but I need to find a residence before the sun peaks the horizon. Do you know where I might look?"
"Well, I don't really know the area very well. I won't go into the reasoning, but I need to find a residence before the sun peaks the horizon. Do you know where I might look?"
Giving the question some thought, Kirata looked around. No where was going to be open this late.... Sighing at that, Kirata smiled once again and then turned back to Scryxis. Her nice nature was something that Hikari had scolded her on, but when there was someone in need, Kira couldn't help offer the best help she could at that point and time.
"Where it is I learned my magic has been empty for the past two years it seems.... I've been staying there for the time being, would you like to go there?" Kirata asked, looking back along the street that she had come from. The key was still resting safely in her pocket... that was good, at least it hadn't fallen out when the Heartless showed up.
"Where it is I learned my magic has been empty for the past two years it seems.... I've been staying there for the time being, would you like to go there?"
Scryxis tilled the idea over through his mind, his face displaying his contemplation with furrowed brows and a serious look. His eyes rose to catch the gaze of the white crescent moon as he took in a deep breath. He wondered about this girl. The last time he had been shown this much kindness that person betrayed him. This one was different though, he could almost feel the light coming from her heart.
After a moment of hesitation he turned to her, his coat and loose pants flitting in the night breeze. He combed his fingers through his hair again and then nodded once.
"I would greatly enjoy that, though I am afraid that at the moment I am at a lack of something to repay your kindness," He said quietly as his hands dove into his pockets.
"But maybe...how long has it been since you've had something to eat, Kirata?"
