In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Her eyes traveled upwards as her opponent dodged the flames that she had summoned to being around her. Heh, looks like the kid really wanted to show her wrong. Hikari sighed internally and just had that one thought cross her mind once again; boys, boys, boys.... Giving a slightly amused scoff, Ikari kept her focus on Rubix and clenched her hands more tightly around the hilts of both Dragon's and Temporal Flame as he landed on a boulder that remained untouched by the fire she produced.
"Wow, well that was pretty cool!"
Giving a shrug of her shoulders, Hikari gave a smirk and twirled Temporal Flame in her left hand grasp, "yeah? I can show you more if ya'd like." The Keyblade was still something new to her, and... the rush of power that it produced was so much greater than what Dragon's Flame gave to her. Again... Hikari didn't feel like killing her opponent.... The power of Temporal Flame... she was going to keep it under control to the utmost best of her abilities.
"Now, enough playing around, we're here to fight right? So let's do this!"
Bracing her legs once again, Ikari watched her opponent and saw him near a pillar and then watched as he quickly hurdled in her direction with a fist drawn back and poised to strike. Giving a small laugh, Hikari changed her stance and drew Temporal Flame back, throwing it with a slight spin towards Rubix and then, with her left hand now free, jumped over backwards, preforming a backhand spring and landed amidst the flames.
The flames licked at her body and Ikari's smirk widened as she summoned Temporal Flame back before having it strike her enemy, "enough playing? Hah! I don't think so." The embers hugged at her body, however, Hikari seemed to hardly take notice of this. Fire was her element as far as she was concerned. Her element. Her power. Her ability. Just... hers....

As Rubix was flying toward Ikari, the key weapon was thrown at him. This is my chance Instead of using his right hand to punch, he used it to reach on for the weapon to weild. That would catch Ikari off gaurd for sure, to wield her own weapon. Right when it was about to make contact with Rubix he felt a surge of energy from the key. It was almost overwhelming. It was a very powerful weapon. However before Rubix could even touch it, it disappeared and went back into the hands of Ikari. Now Rubix was caught off gaurd, still flying toward a pillar.
Rubix positioned his body where his feet would meet the pillar, landed and saw Ikari was close to him in between the pillar he was on and the another on the opposite side. Once again, he blasted a surge of energy at the pillar, leaving a crack on the pillar. Let's try this again
In mid air, he put out his right hand and levitated the boulder and shot it towards Ikari. So from one side there was Rubix ready to strike and a boulder shooting at her in another direction. No more running away Suddenly Rubix pointed his hand down and sent a surge of energy to the ground which shot him up in the air. His plan was to make an aerial attack down on Ikari while she was distracted by the boulder. Rubix was just trying things out, not even knowing if they would work out. But standing around on a boulder was not going to make this fight go any faster. He had to try his best and follow what his heart said.
All his heart said was to fight.

By the looks of things, it seemed that Ikari summoning Temporal Flame back in her possession surprised her opponent. Good, at least it told him now to keep more on his toes when messing around with her. She took Dragon's Flame and clicked the blade against the ground once again, this time, more flames coming forwards and spreading out even more to touching the barrier that was set up for the match. This arena, just like the fire, was hers now. Her resistance to fire was something to be envious of by many others, however, that was what she decided to up her abilities in.... controlling the element and becoming one with the element, so to speak.
With that, Ikari also refused to lose to someone who looked like he didn't have skill, one, in the areas of fighting. The fire-user, on the other had, had been training with magic ever since she was about eight years of age, slowly, and hesitantly being brought to train with weapons when she turned twelve. Rubix just seemed to be a lucky soul to be able to use whatever he had at his disposal... and honestly, that didn't seem like much. Moving rocks and being able to push and pull with a sort of telepathy.... Heh... Ikari had seen all she needed to.
Her eyes caught on movement once again and Ikari saw a boulder rushing at her again. She growled. Same old trick again? What was this kid? A broken record in using his magical abilities? Leaning over, Ikari quickly jammed the tip of Dragon's Flame into the ground and then dismissed Temporal Flame, ducking down into the flames that engulfed mostly all of the arena and rolling somewhat to narrowly avoid the incoming boulder. Unfortunately, it nicked her shoulder pretty good and left a decently sized cut.
Staying in the safety and veil of the flames, Ikari summoned Temporal Flame once again, just holding it in her left hand grasp. The blade's effect started to take action and Ikari could feel her cut started to throb less. However, looking to it, she could still see that it was going to leave a scar... there wasn't any way that she was going to avoid that... even if she used a whole bunch of different potions when she made her way out of the arena when everything was said and done.

Ikari ducked into the flames and avoided the boulder Rubix shot at her, only hitting her shoulder. However, Rubix was in trouble, he was already a couple feet away from being engulfed into the flames that were growing bigger by the minute. He braced himself for impact and landed in the flames. Automatically the flames started to burn his clothes as Rubix let out screams of pain. In his agony he saw Ikari rise once more in the flames. How is she doing that?! A flame licked his bare thigh and automatically Rubix pointed down once more to send another energy surge to the ground to send him flying up in the air.
As he shot up it seemed like everything was slow motion. Drips of sweat fell down on the burning arena making small hissing sounds over the cackle of the flames. In his flight he closed his eyes, Maybe I should just give up? His skin burned from the flames that he was just in, all the fires on his clothes simmered down into char. There's nothing else I can do, she's way to strong. Rubix met the peak of his flight and slowly started to free fall down to the ground. No.
The anger engulfed his mind once again, he didn't care how tired or how hurt he was at this point. He didn't want to give up without giving Ikari a fight. He turned around to see he was close to the ground and by the pillar he just shot off of. Once he was close to level with Ikari, he surged at the pillar once more, which caused it to crack one more time and fall, and shot towards Ikari, intending to tackle her.
The flames licked Rubix's chest as he passed, the heat was intense, but the fight in Rubix ignored it to the best of it's ability. When he came close to Ikari his clothes had small flames on them. He opened his arms, ready for impact and ready to fight.
Dragon's Flame... the scimitar seemed so far away now that Ikari was looking to it. She had jammed it in the ground on a whim to that she had time to avoid that boulder that Rubix had sent in her direction. One of her most prized possessions... and it was at least six feet away from her. There was no way that she could dart to it fast enough and get it, not with how now it seemed that Rubix was rushing in for another attack. She gave another shake of her head, her dark locks falling in front of her face in a sullen manner.
Raising her free hand, lightning started to crackle around it as Rubix neared and her eyes caught movement from up above as well. As Rubix came almost centimeters away from her, Ikari discharged the beginnings of the Thunder spell as she ducked down once again and grabbed Rubix by the collar of his shirt. Hopefully the discharge would leave his body in paralysis. However, now with her fist clenched tightly around his collar Ikari looked up to the falling pillar once again and jumped to the side, dragging Rubix with her before the pillar fell and shattered against the ground.
Growling, Ikari gave focus to her mana once again and the flames in the arena started to die down. She still had Rubix by the collar of his shirt and quickly dismissed Temporal Flame once again, moving both of her hands down and harshly grabbing his own, curling her fingers around his hands and digging in her nails.
"Let's see how well you can use your ability when your hands are immobile..." was all that she said before lightning started to crackle around her hands once again, though not discharging into her opponent yet. It was more of a warning more than anything else.

When Ikari dug her fingers into Rubix's hands and let out a small cry. He could feel the blood trickle down his fingers and falling onto the ground. The difference this time was there was no sizzling, no heat, and no burning. The fire was gone. It was just Ikari, Rubix, and the broken arena around them.
"Let's see how well you can use your ability when your hands are immobile..." Rubix heard Ikari say, feeling bits of electricity flow through her hands which in turn shocked Rubix a little bit, but not enough to cause damage. As Rubix was panting, deciding what to do he saw Ikari's scimitar darted in the ground. Now that the flames were gone, the arena could be clearly seen. They really made a mess.
"Well," Rubix said relaxing a little bit. This is really going to hurt..... "Let's see how well you can use your head after I--" without another word Rubix head butted Ikari and with the split second he had, ripped his hands out of Ikari's grasps, opening up gashes in his hand from yanking away from Ikari's nails. "SON OF A---!" Rubix had no time to focus on the pain, this was his chance to get a weapon. He sprinted toward the scimitar and yanked it out of the ground.
The scimitar's handle was painful to hold with several gashes in Rubix's hand, but he had to try and ignore it as much as possible. Rubix was tired, absolutely no doubt about that. His legs were shaking, he was breathing heavy, and sweat and blood were no strangers to him. Although Rubix felt like he could have dropped down and called it a fight, that's not how he was. Throughout his life he would go until he would not be able to walk anymore with anything, win or lose. At least he knew that he gave it his all. I know I'm going to feel this after the match...
Rubix held the blade out in front of him, in battle ready position. The blade felt great, no wonder Ikari owns such a weapon. It was easy to maneuver and it made Rubix feel a little better when it was in his grasps. Magic was a very odd thing to Rubix, he had never encountered REAL magic in his life until just recently. Not including his abilities to surge energy.
"Alright," Rubix said, panting, "Now that it's somewhat fair, how about we go at it?" he said, smirking at his opponent. Rubix realized that this girl was not his enemy, but just a person fighting in a tournament just as he was. She was only doing this to win, not out of hatred, as far as Rubix knew. Besides the injuries that Rubix has taken, he was actually having fun.
((I can change whatever you guys would like. Just trying to give a good fight and try something new so we don't get *yawns* and borings))

Oh... my muse and I wouldn't worry about Rubix having Dragon's Flame in his grasp... really -w-
Staggering back as she was headbutted, Ikari rubbed at her head somewhat, smearing some of Rubix's blood on her forehead as she did so. Her eyes had been closed tightly to get rid of that sudden throbbing that started to pulse there. She gave a rather irritated huff and then gave a rather annoyed remark, "owe, kid... talk about freakin' hardheaded, jeeze."
She opened her eyes and then saw that Rubix had made a dash for her weapon and grabbed it. It made her flinch somewhat to see someone other than herself wielding her weapon. That, and it made her furrow her brow as anger started to develop and swell underneath her being. That weapon was a prized possession that her foster mother/magic trainer had given specifically to her. She lowered her hand from her forehead and her hands clenched into tight fists as she glared at her opponent.
"Now that it's somewhat fair, how about we go at it?"
"I don't believe that belongs to you..." Ikari said, her voice dripping with a new found sense of malevolence. Temporal Flame had found it's way back into Ikari's grasp, however, the fire-user rose the blade up and took the keychain that dangled from the base and pocketed it. Changing it's appearance, Temporal Flame had now turned back into it's basic form: Secret's Kept. The brass looking Keyblade glinted dully and Ikari pulled a new charm out of her pocket, this one much resembling her earring and attached it to the base of the hilt.
The blade shimmered once again, however, this time, instead of having the elegant look that Temporal Flame boasted, it was now jagged and more ghastly looking. The only thing about the new Keyblade that gave it any sense of looking 'nice' was the heart form that protruded from the blade. Sharply, Ikari clicked the new blade against the ground and left her glare upon Rubix as the newly formed blade, Two Paths, was held firmly in her grasp.
There was a slight tugging on her right ear where her Feir earring hung and Ikari shrugged off the feeling, not really giving a care of what her earring was reacting to, if anything. Her foster mother had taken the time to explain to her that she had applied a charm to it, but she had never said what it did. Shrugging it off once again, Hikari braced her legs and brought Two Paths back and her free hand forwards, readying herself to make any kind of attack.

The changing of the key weapon confused Rubix and even amazed him. Well that seems like a pretty cool kinda weapon! Suddenly Rubix's head started to throb from the headbutt he gave to Ikari; his adrenaline was starting to wear down which in turn made his body start to ache. His legs started to shake more along with his arms in exhaustion.
There's no time...I hope this works... Rubix charged forward towards Ikari with the scimitar ready to strike in his right hand. He felt faster with this blade in his hand and even more in tune with his body than he already was. The pain slowly went away, but throbs reminded him of the injuries from the match. With a might swing, Rubix let down a strike aimed for Ikari's torso with her own blade.
((Kinda short... And just for future reference...what does muse mean? Hahaha))
