In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Saffron nodded.. "I guess that does make sense..." she said in reponce to Mercators answer o her question.
However, when he said that they needed to go back to the karaoke bar, Saffron had an idea... She still felt as if she needed to prove herself to Mercator... she wasn't as weak.. or clueless as she had appered in traverse town... and for some reason, she strongly felt the need to show him that..
"Do you want me to distract it while you go back?" She asked. Who knew if this was a smart move.. after all this.. sand stuff was a little odd to run in, but she could try. And who knos what would happen with her head if she tried... But she was still willing to give it her best shot.
The old Mercator was already beginning to sidestep and circle widely around the Nobody. His feet not sinking away in the sand like Saffron did. Although he left footprints, it was like Mercator was moving on solid ground. Not suffering from any of the hinderance that sand normaly provides to people.
Hearing the offer of Saffron he was quick to respond with a stressfull tone: "Best we not get seperated, my dear girl. Besides, I need you in the karaoke bar behind the controls. I'm not so handy with such technological devices as you youngsters." Now run child. To the bar."
Mercator shoved the tip of his cane into the sand and threw up a gust of sand towards the Nobody. Hopefully blinding it for a moment or letting it recoil so that they could make a run for it. Turning around the elderly wanderer showed great vigor in making his way back to the karaoke bar they had been driven from. Running past the table they first sat, inside the straw hut.
The bar was empty. Hastly deserted by the people. Drinks were still left on the tables, many were dropped on the sandy floor. Some tables were toppled over. The karaoke set was still running normally. But nobody was singing anymore.
The Nameless Nobody felt the sand rush over his skin and flopped across the beach, towards the two who were running for the smelly building. He looked down to the sand, slowly getting bored of the odd feeling, and wondered what could be in the building they were fleeing for.
These humans were enjoyable.
The Nameless Nobody followed them to the building, where he entered cautiously. Many humans would attack him on sight, in the case of him randomly walking into a building. A plastic cup hit the floor as he bumped a table and he jumped, throwing his silver claws out. The humans had the oddest accessories. The Nobody looked around, interested in what was happening.

What would Saffron know about such controls? she wondered, she had no clue how to work a karaoke bar system, she bearly knew how to use any technology... but She could still try..
Saffron tried to run the best she could in the sand, and as she predicted, it was very difficult for her. Not only did this strange sand stuff ty to capture her feet while she ran, but this caused her to use extra effort, which mad her become easily more exhausted nd more dizzy.
When she ran inside the hut, she imideatly leaded on a table, heavyly panting. then she loooked up aian for the controls. when she found them she darted behind them, and probably looked as if she would pass out, although she wasn't.
"What do you want me to do?" she asked in her exhausted tone.
Mercator was standing on the stage that was normaly for the karaoke artists. And watched the approaching Nobody cautiously. Seeing that time was short, he grabbed the microphones with the standards and tossed them to the side. One of the wireless handmicrophones he placed in the pocket of his open sleeveless trenchcoat. Where it dissapeared in. He then also grabbed hold of one of the speaker towers and turned it around. Aiming it at the stalking Nobody. So that the soundwaves would have a clear and straight line of effect.
Then he turned his gaze to Saffron, seeing how she was struggling by her injuries. He felt bad for pushing her to this. But to deal with this Nobody they had to. He quickly shouted: "Saffron! Turn all volumes up to maximun and bombard that thing with sound. The louder the better. Anything that goes in against melodieus classical songs. We're going to fight music, with music!"

Saffron heard Mercators command and looked at the controls very confusedly, which ones were volume!? at first she tried to read them, but none of the buttons names and such even made sense.... so she instead, decided to press and mess with all the buttons and swuitches... hopefully that would be to the same affect without like.. blowing up the machine.
(sorry... donno reallyy what to say so is sshoortt >.<)
(ooc: your gonna let me decide the outcome? bad decision )
Mercator was still aiming the speaker tower at the Nameless Nobody. While Saffron was randomly pushing at buttons and shoving the dials around. Strange noises could be heard coming from the boxes and the speakers. Ruse and static that increased and decreased. Then suddenly, music started to play. It was pretty loud, but not at it's fullest. While the following song started to play.
It caused Mercator to frown and look baffled for a moment. It was not exactly what he had hoped for. He looked at the speakers with frowning eyes and at Saffron behind the controls. And then shrugged his shoulders as he exclaimed: "Not really what I had in mind but it will have to do." And the older man continued to aim the speaker with the music at the approaching Nobody. It was at least from a different type of music then it had been playing all this time.
Turning his head back to Saffron he yelled over the music. So that she could hear him. While shouting: "Saffron, pump up the bass!" Hopingly some heavy bass tunes would disturb this malice creature.
The bass hopped, and the Nameless Nobody gave an odd cringe. Not that the music was bad, it was just... Weird. The Nobody pulled out the flute and listened...
Then the bass began to pound.
The Nobody began to understand the tune. It was a different Heart. A Heart that felt completely different feelings and expressed them oddly. The Nobody's flute began to glow wildly, and it turned into liquid silver, solidifying into a beautiful white cello. The bass began to strum as the instrument and Nobody floated slightly above the ground. The instrument, far too large for the Nobody, strummed itself as the Nobody pressed the frets.
In a matter of seconds, the beat was matched, and the Nobody listened intently to the Heart that was speaking to him.

Saffron looked confusedly at the buttons. 'Bass, Bass..." she though looking for the button. when she found it she turned the dial all the way up to its maximum loudness, the whole place nearly started shaking, which scared Saffron half to death. then she looked up agian and noticed... the nobody was simply playing along! that was NOT helpful. She looked at the buttons agian. "How do u change the ong on this darn thing?!" she said to herself, hitting other random buttons. then she found an apperent song change button. it changed to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiaQcca-2l0 (I don't know how to make it one word!)
Maybe this would catch the nobody of gaurd, it sure was giving Saffron a headache. She could feel the base moveing all the way through her small body it was so loud and that didn't make her feel very good. She tried to cover her ears and regain her focus. "Why am I so weak here?" she asked herself still trying to ignore the loud bass. Then she looked up at Mercator, not hideing that she was obviously displeased with this idea. but she still smiled at him. hopeing that his plan would work.
Mercator could only frown at the Nobodies reaction. Beeing surprised as the flute transformed into a cello and machted the music. Still, it was a unique reaction to the music, just as he thought would happen. It surely seemed to keep the Nobody occupied and it's attention away from them.
Then the music changed and more modern popsounds were hammering out from the speakers. It caused Mercator to suddenly jump back, startled by the sudden bass that was now pounding towards the creature. Feeling it tremor through his own body. He had trouble in withstanding the loud noise aswel, although he was now behind the speaker tower. Grumpy mumbling to himself he sneered: "Pff, unbelievable what children listen to these days, they call this music?"
Turning to face Saffron, the music was now so loud that shouting to each other would be futile. So Mercator just stretched out his hand and gave Saffron a thumbs up. Indicating that she was doing great. Hopefully the sudden change in music would confuse the Nobody further. Giving him time for the next part in his set up.
Mercator hopped around the karaoke bar and started to direct and aim all of the boxes and speakers towards the center of the bar. Where the musical Nobody was present at. Converging all sound to it's current location, and also directing it away from the stage and the master controls. Causing those places to remain bareable while a wall of sound was beeing hurled at the Nameless Nobody.
The Nobody listened to the odd music. It was getting quite bored just playing it, and its instruments vanished.
The Nobody swayed and jumped to the beat moving closer to the speakers. Such odd joy... This false Heart was giving him a sense of... Euphoria? Don't think, just move. And thus he moved.
His antennae flicked back and forth as he jumped around, and he looked to the girl. Her Heart was flickering oddly. He held a hand out. Would she move with him?

Saffron was happy to see that Mercator aproved of what she was doing, at least she was doing somthing right. Then she simply waited until Mercator gave her more directions. she glanced down at the buttons of the controls, trying to clear her mind of the sound that was going through her. then she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
When she felt a little calmer, she looked up agian to see that the nobody had stopped playing along with the music, and instead was coming towards her... and holding out its hand towards her... this culd not be good. Saffron slowly backed up away from the nobody until she was agianst the back wall. "Oh why me?" she asked herself, watching the nobody, makeing sure it wasn't going to attack her unexpectidly.
Mercator was starting to lose his stamina in the constant running and deliberating of the Nobody. The deafening music didn't seem to have any of the desired effect that the old wanderer was hoping for. Seeing how it made its way over to Saffron there was only one last resort that he could fall back onto.
From behind the stereotower he waved towards Saffron to draw her attention. And then gestured to her to cover her ears. This he did by covering his own ears in front of her. With the Nobody paying solely attention to Saffron, he could not notice these signals that were beeing made behind his back.
At the following moment, Mercator pulled out the karaoke microphone that he had tucked away in his pockets earlier. While also bringing in front of him his metallic cane. The microphone was still off. So it's signals weren't beeing broadcasted by the speakers yet. With the speakers standing at near maximun, any loud noise would erupt like a sonic bombardment. And there was a certain sound that the cartographer was after.
He clenched the microphone together with his metallic walking cane. One loud smack against a hard object would cause the cane to start resonating at a high pitched frequency. The normal pitch was already unpleasant to hear it. So an incredibly amped up version by the speakers and the microphone would surely have an impact.
Next the old man postioned himself just beside the large speaker tower that was aimed at the Nobody. So that Mercator stood just outside the outgoing music. But in range to place his hands in front of it. Bringing the cane over his head and switching the microphone on with his fingers. He swung it down inmediatly onto the side of the large speaker. A massive clang sounded that was picked up by the microphone and broadcasted at full volume. That sound was again picked up by the microphone again, since it was closely in front of the speaker. So the sound got looped back towards the speaker and amplified again. The result was a earthshaking shockwave that blew up all the speakers and converged their soundwaves at the Nameless Nobody.
The tables were beeing knocked over, the straw roof was beeing blown from the bar. Sand whirled like a storm. As the echo died out quickly. If anything would have caused harm to this creature, this would have done so. Mercator himself felt himself beeing knocked back by the soundblast and stumbled unto his back into the sand. His ears were ringing as his mind was knocked numb. Lingering between the state of beeing consious and unconsious. The controls were also blown up, with everything to max, the loud metal pitch was to much for the system to take. After the deaffening explosion of chaos, silence took over.
