In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Walrus sat on a stump in the middle of the Lotus forest pointing at a random spot and summoning a Heartless or two to go run around and wreak havoc amongst Wonderland. It wasn't that he didn't like his job, no no, Walrus had lots of fun... usually. Today, though, he was just...
...Bored.
Well, really! There was nothing to do! No heroes of evil-slaying goodness, no beacons of light, no traveling priests spreading hope to the citizens of this poor, lost land - nothing!
Walrus sighed, then got up and set up a picnic on a large stump. Light-filled tea and oysters. Oh, how he loved oysters. Oysters and salt. He began eating ravenously and looked up to a Shadow standing next to him. Perhaps this little guy had nothing to do? Walrus decided to put him out of his misery. "Oh, ahem, a, uh, a loaf of bread is what I truly need." The bored Shadow nodded and sped off into the woods, searching for bread. Walrus felt for him. There was nothing to DO! Maleficent hadn't sent for any tasks, not one. Walrus absorbed a couple of oysters(in a matter of seconds) and leaned back to think. What chaos could he wreak today...?
Wonderland wasn't exactly one of Artemis' favorite worlds (due to the strange creatures and lack of respect for the laws of physics) but he found himself strangely drawn to it today. He had a feeling that something important was going to happen, and was curious on how this feeling would come out. As he walked through Lotus Forest, he saw a curious sight. It was a Shadow carrying a loaf of bread. "What in Spira...." he said, following the Heartless to who knows where. But, after a while, the Heartless entered a clearing. Peering through the trees, Artemis watched as the Heartless gave the bread to some kind of creature, who polished it off in a matter of seconds. Artemis moved, trying to learn more, but accidentally stepped on a plant, which proceeded to (of course) honk. He silently swore, hoping the creature was too busy to notice. But, just to be safe, Divinity appeared in his hands, arrw already nocked on the string.

Walrus took the bread from the Heartless and sent the thing into the trees straight for Artemis even before he heard the honking plant. His little Heartless insect minions had informed him of the intruder, and, knowing of the honking plant(he knew this forest like the back of his hand/flipper/paw/whatever) and of the obviously-armed young man,(who traveled in Heartless-infested Wonderland's wilds without a weapon?)he had prepared an ambush on all sides for the young man. He had limited Heartless control, so he knew how to use the few Heartless he had to the best of their abilities.
The most obvious thing was that the bread-fetcher Heartless was history. Any daffodil could see that. So, using that little guy as a distraction, after he was gone the others would pop up and ambush him, then he would summon up a couple of Red Nocturnes to burn that section of the forest and then put out the flames. It was a fool-proof defense plan, and no one and nothing would disturb his oyster lunch.
Artemis' eyebrows quirked up when the Heartless started heading back in his direction, claws extended. "Why send such a weak Heartless?" he wondered out loud, summoning Divinity. One arrow was all it took to eliminate the Shadow, but that was the least of Artemis' worries. Looking up, he saw a swarm of Heartless surrounding him. "Oh boy." he said, switching Divinity for Spark in a flash of light. He began the steps of the Aeon ritual, closing as the bolts of lightning surrounded him. A few seconds later, the lightning merged and formed a portal, which Apollo, his stallion Aeon, emerged from.
Jumping on the Aeon's back, he nocked his string with an arrow and said, "Apollo, you're up!" The Aeon whinnied and started attacking with thunder magic as Artemis used his arrows. "Let's go!" said Ar

Just as Walrus was returning to his oysters, his Heartless were decimated in a matter of seconds. Walrus's jaw dropped upon seeing the man with his powerful bow and vaguely equine steed. He closed it back up and swallowed, wondering how to take care of this little man who was so rudely interrupting his lunch and havoc wreaking. A wicked idea formed in his mind.
He established a telepathic link with the Heartless he had summoned before, as he did not wish to summon more, and was glad to hear from them that they had wreaked havoc in the forest unmolested. It wasn't a surprise, as no one was outside today to attack, but still a good thing. Then Walrus opened his mouth wide and shouted.
"Please, sir, please! These things are attacking me! The captured me and made me eat these oysters, and I'm allergic!" Walrus summoned up a little mana and forced a cough into his body, then proceeded to, very loudly. "A simple Cure spell can fix it, and I would ordinarily Cure myself and defeat these little fellas, but the oysters are enchanted and block my magic powers! Save me, sir, please!" he yelled, then summoned the Heartless he had previously established a link with, then yelped in mock surprise. "Oh goodness! There are more!"
Artemis sighed, confused. The creature obviously knew he saw the Heartless give him bread. "But, I could possibly learn something from him....." he thought, deciding to play along with the incident. "I'll take care of them!" he said out loud, then whispered to Apollo, "Take out the Heartless, 'kay? I've got him. Apollowhinnied and nuzzled his hand. "Good boy" said Artemis jumping down, holding an arrow engulfed in flame. A few seconds later, all that remained of the Heartless ever existing were charred sections of the grass. Walking closer to the creature, but not too close, Artemis said, "You needed to be healed. Well, first tell me your name. I can't trust someone I don't know."

Walrus grinned wickedly on the inside. He's falling for it! he thought. He cleared his throat then got up, and ran for his 'savior'. "Oh, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!" He withdrew and coughed again. "My name is Walrus. What is yours?" Walrus smiled widely, then began puffing on a cigar he had pulled out of his jacket pocket. He didn't care to hear this man's name, as he would just refer to him as his knight savior, so he simply sunk deep into thinking on what he would do to ambush this possible enemy.
He could summon some Red Nocturnes over them, but quickly dismissed that idea. He could be burned! What about some Soldiers coming in from the trees? No, they could run away when one was defeated... Then he got it! Shadows coming in from the trees to cover him while he got away, then he would burn him up, then put out the flames with magic. Now THAT was a foolproof plan.
Artemis started to tell the creature his name, but realized that he wasn't listening, and sat down on a stump. "Anyway, what are you doing here, Walrus?" he pressed. "You'd need a reason to be out here........" but he recieved no answer. It was then when Artemis decided to show his true colors. "Okay, why did you summon those Heartless on me?" he asked, anger rising. "Who are you working for?" He raied his hand and made Divinity appear, pulling an arrow from his quiver. He focused his magic on it and infused it with his ice magic and fired. The special arrow froze Walrus' feet......or flippers.......to the ground, preventing escape.

Walrus gasped and jumped back. How had his charade been seen through? He gulped, then said shakily, "S-Sir, I don't know what your talking about! I was out here because I was captured and dragged here, like I told you!" He gulped, then he summoned up a spell for quick use if it was needed. He had his silent Heartless on the edges of the clearing, just out of sight. He wasn't about to die at the hands of this simpleton... But he wanted to be safe.
He gulped again. "What made you think that I summoned those dirty, stupid excuses for half-decomposed mentally and physically retarded conservative-christian cursed and plagued cow manure?" He told his Heartless telepathically that he was just kidding. He didn't want them angry.
Quirking an eyebrow, Artemis held two fingers to his lips and whistled. Apollo came running and nuzzled his hand. "Bmyla ouin runh uh rec lracd. Ev ra dneac yhodrehk vihho, dyga res uid." Doing so, Apollo placed his long horn right over Walrus' chest, an inch away from puncturing the flesh. "Alright, Walrus." said Artemis. "I'm going to give you a chance to get away home free. Just tell me one thing." He paused, wondering if torture was right. "Apollo........"he whispered, looking down. "Stand down. I can't do this." Apollo stepped back by his side, and he patted his flank. Then, looking at Walrus, he said, "Just tell me why the Heartless work for you. That's all I want to know. I pity you for controlling them, but I can't bring myself to hurt a defenseless creature." He melted the ice around Walrus' feet and said, "Leave if you want and I'll totally forget this. But pull anything funny and I'll turn you into a living pincushion."

"You... you... I wouldn't... Do that... Augh, screw it. Killim." Walrus was done acting like a good little boy, and now this little man would feel his wrath. Walrus snapped his fingers and turned around, just before a literal cloud of darkness fell over his enemy. The Heartless hiding in the cloud proceeded to tie Artemis up with strong ropes and bind Apollo's legs. Walrus waved away the darkness when he was sure that his enemies were all tied up, then walked up to his new prisoners, grinning widely, his mustache stretched out far. Walrus began puffing on a cigar. "Don't underestimate me, child." Walrus snapped his fingers and two Gravity Hammers popped up above Apollo's and Artemis's heads, then smashing down, knocking them out cold.
(May seem a little GM, but with that many Heartless and a fog of darkness covering you... I think it's pretty much guaranteed.)
(Hey, NP. It's all in fun and games, right? BTW, I'll need some time to post, I'm working on my RP site and need to spend some time on it. I'll be posted by tomorrow (Sunday), promise.)
(Um.....This is going to take longer that I thought. Its finals week for me at school and I'll be really busy. But I'll post ASAP, k)
EDIT: (OK, posty time!) Waking up from having the hammer knock him out, Artemis moaned and tried to sit up, but stayed put and winced when a sharp pain tore through his head. He looked over and saw Apollo, tied up but concious. "Apollo......" Artemis said, still weak. "Can you get my ropes off with your horn?" Apollo whinnied and seemed to nod. Artemis started to scoot over towards him, but stopped when he saw what was around them. "Um, this isn't good." he said.
And the Heartless surrounding them didn't make it better either.
