In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

“I’m not looking for anything, said Limber. “I’m just walking. When I walk with someone through a crowd I find that people don’t bump into me as often.” She turned to him. “I gather those heartless are not your favorite thing. I will admit I did find those creatures…worrying. For a moment I wondered if you would intervene. I very much need to procure a weapon,” she said seriously.
She looked up at Darkun. “I did promise you that I would tell you about the headaches, didn’t I? I’ve been having headaches for the past- she thought for a moment. “Two and a half days. They hurt very much.”
“If you want to know about my knowing things before they happen well, people on my mother’s side of the family have been able to do that for centuries. I would probably be able to predict major to moderate events days in advance. Her eyes narrowed and she brushed her hair out of her face. “If mother ever came home.”
“I asked if you had any place you liked because we could sit down. She stared around at the people, most of which were taller than her and grimaced. "It’s only a matter of time before someone steps on me."
"Once we find a place that isn't to crowded. and not the manor either, you can tell me about Sam without keeping such a distance between the people in the crowd and yourself."
It had been amusing to see Darkun out of his element.

(Apologies for shortness
Kai stood idly, watching crowds rush by, her choppy blue hair blowing in the wind. She sighed, her dark green eyes fluttering, trying to keep awake. She was tired...after all, bad dreams could do that... There was a boy...she couldn't remember his name, but she felt like she had knew him once before... Who was he? Somehow she knew he was important. She brushed off her short, silver-grey dress and black, low-hanging belt, beginning to walk around. Someday, I'll find him...maybe. Her thoughts were whipped away instantly as her feet came from under her, sending her at the feet of two, walking by-passers, who were making to sit down. A twinge of embarrassment followed Kai as she forced herself to get up, watching their faces for any sign of emotion, but whatever the case, it didn't really even matter. "Um, sorry," She managed to get out with a weak smile, "I sorta tripped, but...I guess you could see that." Why was she even talking to these people? After all, she could have just muttered an apology and ran off. But...something about these people made her do different. They seemed...sort of like her in a way...maybe.

((Sorry for the lateness, hospital and blahness and I completely missed this thread when I went through my thread list. So yea, my bad))
He saw a shadow coming towards him, instantly on the alert his body turned to the side and his mind readied itself to destroy whatever it was that had came at them. It turned out however, it was a girl falling over.
He stared at Limber then down at the girl. She was making some kind of apology for falling over, his face remained ever as blank and his eyes as a endless emotionless azure sea. Flicking his hair behind him once again he wondered what the girl had done. “Are you ok?” he asked, his face not changing. “Limber there’s a girl here.” He pronounced as If she hadn’t seen it.
He was however much more at ease that the crowds were gone and they were in a more isolated bit, he spread his arms and arched his back allowing it to stretch properly.
(Thanks. I've been a little preoccupied as well. Limber, Kai, Darkun?) Limber stared down at the girl, surprised. So someone had bumped into her. But this was not how it normally worked. Usually she was the one on the ground or sent reeling. It was a new experience for her to be the one looking down. It was…pleasant.
The girl got up and looked worriedly from her to Darkun. "Um, sorry, I sorta tripped, but...I guess you could see that." Darkun looked at the girl and then Limber “Limber, there’s a girl here.”
Limber turned to him. “Oh, you think so? I would never have guessed.” She looked at the girl and smiled. Did you hurt yourself? I must say, I’m surprised,” and relived. “Usually I am the one who falls to the ground.”
She examined the girl and paused when she noticed her hair. Ah, well. She'd have to get used to seeing that sort of thing. Or get some hair dye and deal with the problem.
She looked back at her face and held out a hand. “I am Limber.” She glanced at Darkun from the side, watching to see if he understood what he needed to do.

"Limber, there's a girl here."
Kai put on a look of confusion as the boy spoke. It sounded strange, pointing out the obvious, but she guessed a fall like hers could confuse anybody.
The girl turned to the boy. "Oh, you think so? I never would have guessed."
So much for the idea of confusion. She was relieved that these people weren't taking her mix-up too harshly, after all, she didn't need any more enemies.
Enemies? She immediately grew confused. She had no enemies, right? The thought had come suddenly, almost as if it had come out of her control. But why would it have come in the first place if she couldn't even remember any? Her mind attempted to trace back to any memories, any memories that would somewhat relate to the strange thought...but none came.
"Did you hurt yourself?" The girl smiled, waking her from her thoughts, "I must say, I'm surprised and relieved. Usually I'm the one who falls to the ground." She laughed, recovering. "Yeah, I'm okay, it just happens sometimes. But anyways I'm Kai," Her face turned to curiosity. "And you guys are?"

It took a moment for Darkun to catch on; Limber was giving him a strange look. He went through his people watching memory, trying to pin the look to what she was trying to communicate with him. AH!
“Are you ok?” he asked, his face still blank and his azure eyes locked onto hers. Names, he knew this bit. “ Nice to meet you, people call me Darkun.” He glanced as the girl got up. “ If you’re damaged I can help you, Im sure I can find a potion somewhere” he said looking at her, the grazes didn’t look that bad but looks could be deceiving.
This girl had done one good thing, it had taken his mind off Sam so for now he was somewhere in the subconscious. “Limber do you know her?” he asked curiously as he turned his gaze back down once more.
Limber watched as Darkun finally introduced himself. So he knew how. She’d had to work to learn his name only a few days ago. He was showing concern just as he had with her when they first met. She frowned slightly, all except for the potion. What was a potion? She knew what a potion was but was a potion actually a potion?
“Limber, do you know her?” asked Darkun, staring at his feet. Hm. He was not making eye contact. Perhaps that was a good idea. If he tried the creepy smile again he might scare the girl away and she couldn't have that.
Darkun was. She stared at Darkun, unsure how to finish the sentence. Helpful, useful, mildly frightening, not a good guide.
“No, I don’t know her,” said Limber, just slightly uncomfortable referring to someone when they were standing directly in front of her. She smiled at the girl. “I'm sorry, what was you're name? I seem to have missed it. We were just about to sit down. Would you like to join us?"
“Do you perhaps, know of a restaurant nearby?” She asked hopefully. An apple was hardly enough.
She looked at Darkun. “Unless you had something else in mind?”

"I think I'll be okay," Kai nodded to the newly introduced Darkun, "Just a couple scratches."
Now taking in his appearance, he was very different than the people she was used to seeing. His hair was azure blue, but much lighter than hers, with striking blue eyes the same shade as his hair. But something about those eyes were a little off...it was as almost if he was only somewhat there, like another portion of his mind was somewhere else...
Her arms crossed a bit tighter around her chest. Could she trust him?
"Limber, do you know her?" Darkun asked the girl while looking at his feet.
Limber was another kind of person Kai wasn't use to seeing. She had long black hair to her ankles, and an unusual purple streak on the left side of her hair. She was on the shorter side, but had a tough and intelligent air about her.
Twilight Town people had always seemed usual to Kai, and in her opinion, that was boring. In fact, everything seemed usual to her here. The weather, the people, the food. It was annoying.
"No, I don't know her," Kai whipped away from her thoughts to see Limber speaking. She looked sort of uncomfortable talking about her with her standing right there, but she could understand.
She watched as the girl turned and smiling, asked her, "I'm sorry, what was your name? I seemed to have missed it. We were just about to sit down. Would you like to join us?"
"Sure, sounds great. Oh, and sorry, I'm Kai," She put on a slight smile, her dark green eyes watching them both. Finally, something to do. "Do you know of a restaurant nearby?" Limber next asked. She looked to Darkun. "Unless you had something else in mind?" She bit her lip, thinking. She knew the town pretty well, but she wasn't exactly sure if there was a restaurant. "You know, I'm not really sure if there even is one, unless I'm wrong. Maybe we could look?" Kai turned her gaze to Darkun. "What do you think?"

“What food would you like?” he asked. It was true, there weren’t any restaurants in the area, and mainly this was the shopping district so it was full of café’s. “I can pull you up anything.” He began walking towards the bench and quickly sat down.
Directing his attention over to the new girl he spoke “ Will you be joining us? If so, what would you like to eat?” he placed his hands down onto his shadow, checking all of the usual places, the restraints he knew of, the bakeries, the butchers, finding all the various pieces, he could tell the difference between various foods now, it was difficult when they was on a plate but if they was still being prepared all he had to do was wait for them to be ready.
“Any ideas?” he asked the two his eyes still closed.
The wind blowing lightly cast his long hair into the wind, for the first time in quite a while revealing his strange tattoos. Usually his collar covered them up and when it was unzipped his hair had been doing that job. Now the strange patterns where visible, a complete contrast to his hair and eyes.
Limber was feeling difficult. Kai had said there were no Restaurants and Darkun had confirmed it. She frowned when Darkun said, “What food would you like?” as he sat down. She stared at him as he addressed Kai and closed his eyes, his hands purposely in shadow.
So, he was going to show off, was he? There was any number of ways to react to this. She could sing a random song as Darkun was wont to do. She was hungry. She was not rational when she was hungry.
She smiled. She had an idea. She wondered if she could pull that off. Her mother had done it before and she could sometimes do it. She focused. What were the possibilities? Could she go just a minute ahead and find exactly what he could pull out with an accurate description down to the plate?
Her gaze went unfocused and then she was caught by blue. The wind was blowing Darkuns’ hair again and she was mesmerized by it as it whipped until her own hair blew into her face. By now it was fairly tangled and the purple streak was dark and distracting from lack of a washing.
She grabbed her hair and tried to hold it out of her face. She glanced at the mess of snarls in irritation and then at Darkun. His hair still blew in the wind but the spell was broken.
She sighed. Blue hair apparently did not tangle. A ribbon perhaps? Or a comb. She realized that she shouldn’t just focus with him. She should also ask Kai for something. Oh, she was still hungry. She wasn’t thinking straight at all.
“Kai, would you have a comb? Limber gripped her hair as the wind blew once again. “I very much need one.”
“Darkun. She looked at Darkun. “Could you possibly make a ribbon out of those shadows of yours? She staggered. Food. Food was essential.
“Could I have eel pie please? She asked as she sat down on the bench beside Darkun and leaned back, her eyes closed.
My, she was becoming weak. She wondered if something else had broken besides a part of her head. What exactly had happened? She glanced at Kai. She was a little worried about how the girl would react but she didn’t care enough to sit up.

"Will you be joining us? If so, what would you like to eat?" Darkun asked her.
Kai became puzzled, but answered, "Yes, I will, but where are you going to..."
She stopped speaking when the boy crouched down and placed his hands on his shadow, and closed his eyes.
What is he doing? Her mind raced for an explanation. This wasn't exactly a normal day by day activity for most people. But then she thought of herself, and her ability to control and fight with fire. That wasn't quite a normal everyday activity either...
"Any ideas?" He continued, his eyes still closed. A sudden gust of wind caught Kai by surprise, but she managed to keep within her balance. Darkun's hair was now blowing in the wind, revealing strange, blue markings upon his face. It was a bit different, but nevertheless, she would ask about it later. Kai didn't want to come off wrong.
She was about to answer his question, when Limber spoke, asking her for a comb.
"Mhm," She smiled, unbuckling one of the pockets on her belt, handing her a small, easily portable comb. Laughing, she added, "It gets really windy here, so having a comb really helps."
Kai looked to Limber, worry suddenly crossing her face. She didn't look so good, and even appeared...exhausted.
It was strange. When Kai had first seen the girl, she had looked like she was feeling fine, but now...
Another thought occurred to her. Maybe, just maybe, something else was going on. Something like her ability of fire or Darkun touching his shadow.
"Limber, are you alright?" Kai crouched down to the ground to get a better look at her. "You don't look so good."
She then turned her head to Darkun, her face still full with worry, "I guess I'll have what Limber wanted, but I'm sort of confused on how you're going to find any."
She had absolutely no idea what eel pie was like, or how Darkun was going to get some, but for the moment, it didn't matter to her. She wasn't really hungry anymore.

Eel… pie… He had just the place. Straight away his mind stretched to a little world nearby. He knew that the people of this world lived on what they could take from the sea, distilling seawater to drink, eating all kinds of fish.
Searching through he found the shop he was looking for, an eel, there was one hung up in the corner, nearby was the oven, a pie baking in it. It would be ready in a few moments he was sure, it was raised over the edge, and he could see the edges now over the metal tin. Just the one… it was quite large, maybe they could share? The shadow that it cast was easy enough to manipulate, within seconds it was pulled through, falling into the black until he felt it rise up next to him.
“One eel pie, sorry there was just the one, I couldn’t find another one. Well… I think its eel, its defiantly sea food” he said with a grin, the grin however was all that appeared, his eyes remained that blank nothingness.
“A ribbon?” he queried looking at her, within a second he pulled a piece of shadow up and solidified it into a long piece of ribbon. “ Just snap off what you don’t need and let it fall to the floor.” There was something off; she looked ill… maybe the pie would make her feel better.
“You too should eat up, it’ll get cold,” he said as he placed it onto the bench beside him.
Limber leaned back and ignored what was going around her letting sounds fade into the background. She was preoccupied with her own body. Her head snapped around as she smelled it and forgot about . Food, but no silverware and no plate. That was not the time to worry about such things, she pointed out to herself and, naturally, agreed with herself. She should carry around flatware if she was so concerned with it.
It was a big pie and it tasted very good. The filling was very good, whatever it was. She eventually slowed down and thought about how exactly she was eating the pie, with her hands. ( she was still being as neat about it as she could be and taking small quick bites, breaking off a new piece every once in a while.) and the fact that she should share.
She looked at Kai who was crouched in front of her concern evident on her face, and smiled, holding out the half-eaten pie. “Would you like some?” She looked down at the pie, sheepishly. “I’m afraid I’ve made a mess of it.”
She felt better after eating but just a little dizzy. She wondered exactly what she had eaten. It tasted nothing like her sisters' recipe.

(I know, cruddy post. Just haven't felt "in it" lately. :] )
"How...did you do that?" Kai was now sitting down, looking to beside Darkun, where a single, fluffy eel pie had risen from the ground. "Can you make other things appear, or just food?" It was very interesting, having things just seemingly pop out of nowhere, and she definitely couldn't think of any possible explanations... “One eel pie, sorry there was just the one, I couldn’t find another one. Well… I think its eel, its definitely sea food." "That's fine," She replied. Laughing, she added, "As long as it's edible." She noticed his smile, then his eyes. They didn't quite match up somehow, but she wasn't really sure why... “Would you like some?” Kai turned her head to see that Limber was now holding out half of the pie, a smile on her face. “I’m afraid I’ve made a mess of it.” She laughed again. "That's okay. I bet it still tastes good at least..." Kai ate a couple small pieces of the pie, chewing thoughtfully. She looked to Limber and Darkun. "I don't think I've ever asked this, but where are you guys from?" She leaned back a little, still sitting. "I've never seen you around here."

He looked at Limber for a few moments before looking back at Kai. " Well... Its just something I can do, Shadows. And I have lived on this plannet for around two years, though, as for why you havnt seen me... I kinda stay in the shadow most of the time... as in actually IN the shadow"
He smiled at her seeing the pie being shared around, it made him think that at least he could make others happy, maybe thats all that he had left... people watching and making others happy.
Even though he couldnt truely feel, the emotions that he remembered appeared, was it enough though, could he truely ever be satisifed with being lied to by his own mind...
"Was the pie good?" he asked as he exhaled deeply his mind babble now finished.
