In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Limber scanned the crowd though she mostly had a good view of their shoulders. She wasn’t crazy about walking up to a random person and asking for directions but because she had promised someone else that she would, she had to.
She didn't expect someone to find her.
Limber turned and saw a girl barrel towards her, blue hair, darker than Darkuns', falling in her eyes. She braced herself then smiled in relief as no collision came. This time Kai had managed to stop. "Um,hey, said Kai. I heard you sort of needed help back there," She smiled, still breathless, "Directions, right?"
Yet another person with pretty hair. At least this one was a girl. Limber looked at the gray thigh length dress. Correction, woman. “Hello, Kai, Nice to see you again.” She was surprised and grateful to see one of the only people she knew in this town.
Limber looked back at Kanji. “As a matter of fact you’d be a great help if you played tour guide. I managed to come to the attention of someone who is new in town and he seemed to think I actually knew where anything was.” She smirked and slipped her braided bit of bang behind one ear.
“I will warn you, Mr. Hitsugaya is sparse when it comes to intelligent conversation,” said Limber as she walked carefully back through the crowd from the off boarding trains and to the brick wall and Kanji.
Kanji was no longer alone. Beside him, groaning and mumbling nonsense was a man. Limber was interested to see that Kanji was ignoring him, his gaze off to the side and his mind apparently on something else. What, no chivalrous actions with one of his own gender?
“Kanji, I stumbled upon my friend Kai. Kai. Kanji Kanji, Kai.” she said gesturing at them both in turn. "She has volunteered to help us." That done, Limber allowed her attention to be drawn to the man on the ground
The man was most definitely a man. Limber tried not to wrinkle her nose since she thought the action looked stupid. A man that smelled overwhelmingly of alcohol and male body odor which, combined with the alcohol would sober up anyone, save the one the smell came from. She certainly felt awake.
Limber knelt down and took a closer look while trying not to breath. Her eyes widened in amusement. He appeared to be wearing a bra. B-cup and just below the underwire was a bloody bump. Well, well. Another had fallen to the wall.
She picked up the bottle that lay beside his hand and looked at the label, disgusted and slightly envious. She poked the man lightly on his pinky with the butt of the bottle. “Hey, big fella; You alright?”
"Hello, Kai, nice to see you again." Kai smiled in relief at Limber's warm greeting. She hated to admit it, but she could be a bit insecure when knowing that people liked her or not...especially when she almost always was about to bump into them... She watched as Limber gazed off to a man a little ways away. “As a matter of fact you’d be a great help if you played tour guide. I managed to come to the attention of someone who is new in town and he seemed to think I actually knew where anything was.” "Yeah, well, that happens," Kai replied with a look of amusement. Boys, She thought musingly. They always assume everyone else has the answer. They walked to a brick wall, Limber quickly mentioning 'Kanji's' so-called lack of words. At this she quickly shrugged. Didn't really matter to her. When they came to a halt she began to stare. Kai wasn't staring at the newly introduced Kanji, but was staring at the moaning heap of a man on the ground. Her face cringed as unknown stenches rose to her face, mainly alcohol, and hastily, she took a step back. Scanning the rest of him, her eyes widened. A bra? "What__" She gaped, only managing to speak after a breath, "the heck?"
( Yay posts are gong well!! Ok here's the posting order now..Yanagi, Kai, Kanji, and then oogie)
Kanji stopped staring at the town when he noticed Limber arrive with a blue haired girl. He watched as Limber started talking to the man on the floor. Not that he wouldn't have done the same, but the honestly he never did see the use of drinking. The male didn't even react to the bra on the man's head, who knows where that came from.
After a few seconds he heard the blue haired girl speak, and he choose to answer her. '' Don't try to understand it....I've been wondering about it myself'' he said to Kai. while turning around to face them all. His eye's did trail off and look at the man again, if he was going to talk...perhaps limber was the best person to speak to.
He was going to talk to the blue haired woman but after noticing that she still hadn't recovered from her surprise disturbing her thoughts seemed rude.
Instead Kanji stayed where he was waiting for permission to speak.
The Man's eyes began to stir. They opened, wincing as the (to his drunken eyes) bright twilight sun shone down upon him. Suddenly a figure stood over him. Then another. Then yet another.
"Rabble rabble rabble rabble Kai rabble rabble tour guide rabble." said the first. It was a feminine one. At least he was looking a female...
"Rabble rabble?!" Another feminine voice. Two for one. One more for the jack pot!
"Rabble rabble rabble myself." Ugh. A male voice. No jack pot.
Kurt slowly began to sit up and lift a hand to his head. He rubbed the wound, although he appeared completely unaware of the bra. He hiccuped before bringing himself to his feet and turning.
Yep. Not one, not three, but two females. He couldn't tell if they were pretty or not in his stupor... but they were females, and that was all that mattered. Although he was ignorant about it, he then proceeded to do to Kanji what Kanji had done to him but moments ago- ignore him; albeit for different reason.
"Ladehs!" he slurred confidently. "Mehbe I can *hic* be of sum assissississtance. I know thus town like the back of my *hic* hand!" He then lifted his hand, palm down as if to demonstrate. It squinted at it for a moment.
"Wait... since when do I *hic* have a freckle thar?"
Limber watched as the man sat up and touched his head, his alcohol stench billowing around him. Was this what they called a manly stench? He stood up and stared nearsightedly at them. His eyes didn’t seem to want to focus. He turned to her and Kai. As he moved his scent cloud spread and Limber tried extremely hard not to wrinkle her nose .
“Ledehs! Mehbe I can, he hiccupped, without covering his mouth. “be of some assississtance. I know thus town like the back of my. He hiccupped yet again. Hand.” “Wait, since when did I have a freckle thar?”
Limber grinned and looked at Kai. He was trying to hit on them. Lying too, probably.
She looked over at Kanji who was looking at her and not at the drunk. He seemed about to ask something.
Limber was grinning only slightly on the outside but on the inside she was even more pleased. A boring day had suddenly become fun. Correction, amusing. She glanced one more time back towards the houses and their roofs and then back at the drunk in front of her. She took a step for-,no, back because of the smell and addressed the drunk man.
“So you know this town? Can you walk straight enough to show us around? She nodded her head away from the station. “If that is so, then lead the way.
Limber was not in any hurry to tell this man her name. She was mildly interested in learning his but she couldn’t see a way to find that out unless she gave her own. Perhaps he would drop his wallet.

(I am really sorry for the late post, and in the future I will certainly keep up. I am still very interested in the thread!)
"Ladehs!" The man slurred, "Maybeh I can be of some assistanceee. I know dis town like de back of my hand!"
Kai stared blankly as the drunken man lifted his hand, palm down, as if to prove his point, commenting on a now noticed freckle. Limber looked over, grinning. Obviously she too had noticed the drunk's attempts on hitting on them. She smiled back a knowing look, rolling her eyes.
Kai looked all around her, watching her surroundings. She was pretty sure that she could help these people out, if they needed her, anyways. "So you know this town?" Limber addressed the drunk, "...If that is so, then lead the way." So this guy's going to lead us? She thought amusingly. This could be kind of fun.
Kai smiled to herself. What seemed like another boring day to her had now transformed into something exciting and new. She just wasn't the sort of person who could just sit around, day after day. And with the company of Limber, Kanji, and this other man, she didn't think it could be boring. "So Kanji, are you needing to find anything specifically?" Kai asked him. He hadn't spoken much since her being here, but she hoped he would at least talk now...
Kanji wasn't at all happy with this new idea. Sure maybe this guy wasn't like the last druken guy he met, but that still didn't change the fact that he wasn't the wisest guide. The red head simply sighed, everything happened for a reason....if he wasn't meant to meet these people, he wouldn't have.
Hoping that things wouldn't get any worse than this Kanji turned his attention to the Kai. He got a good look at her face, strangely though it reminded him of something. Once he was asked a question his mind suddenly started panicking...which was something...unusual for him.
He cleared his throat before forming a sentence. '' A medical supply store would be useful, other than that I would prefer to just see the town's main landmarks.'' he said hoping that what he said was enough.
"Medicul s'plies, huh? I gotcha right cheer." The gruff Man said as he took Kanji's hand to promptly deposited the empty booze bottle.
"It kin take away the shakies, headaches, heartaches, back aches, leg pain, arm pain, eye pain, and if yer sick make yew puke so you feel better. On your chest, hair it puts also." He then grabbed hold tails of his shirt and lifted, exposing that this, indeed, was possible.
He lowered his shirt, effectively putting away the shag carpet of a chest.
"But if landmarks it is want see you, me you follow for the way I know." he then turned and prepared to march off, only to slam right back into the same wall, in the same place, and fall down onto the same ground in the same pattern.
Limber watched as the man spoke and shoved the empty bottle of booze at kanji. At first it was normal drunk talk and then he started speaking with full words. She was sure the grammar worked for a language. Not this one in particular but a language.
Her eyes followed his movement and she looked when he pulled up his shirt. “Impressive, she murmured. But, an impressive example of what? A carpet? Fur? That this man really shouldn’t lift his arms? The smell was worse now, though she found that her nose wasn’t yelling at her to back away, far away, anymore. She hoped the damage wasn’t permanent.
"But if landmarks it is want see you, me you follow for the way I know." Limber looked down at him. He was back on the ground with a much larger bump. "Hurt much that did."
She smiled but felt concern. She hadn’t actually known what the bottle of booze contained, not recognizing the name. She hadn’t seen the proof either. “Kanji, Kai. Could you lean him against the wall?”
She knelt beside the man and looked down at him. She brushed the braid back behind her ear. “What is your name? What is your favorite color? Where were you born? Why are you here? How many eyes do I have?” The last question was to see how drunk he was. The others were delivered quickly so that he would answer correctly on reflex. At least that was the theory.

"A medical supply store would be useful, other than that I would prefer to see the town's main landmarks."
She listened to Kanji's reply, nodding her head. She could do that. But before she could speak, the drunken man spoke first.
"Medicul s'plies, huh? I gotcha some right here."
Kai bit her lip, feeling slightly annoyed at the man's interruption. He continued speaking, rambling on and on about the so-called remedies of beer, even to the point of lifting up his his shirt, revealing his shag of a chest.
Don't worry about it, She thought to herself, almost laughing. Kanji couldn't possibly believe beer would be the answer. Hopefully.
The man, after slurring another group of words, walked straight off, and slammed into a wall, falling to the ground. "Hurt much that did."
Her eyes widened. Was he okay? Limber was first to reflect her thoughts. "Kanji, Kai, could you lean him against a wall?" "Yeah...that's probably a good idea," She replied, heading over to help him. Kai half-listened as a series of questions began to spurt from Limber. Questions about who he was and where he was born, and even how many eyes he had. Eyes? At first she was confused. Sure, she could understand the name and birth question, they had to know who he was. But then another thought occurred to her. She suddenly felt stupid, she should've known the answer all along. Right. He's gotta be sane.
This was getting ridiculous, why where they still with this man? Kanji held the bottle in his hand and stared at it wondering why the heck anyone would use this....no matter. He simply walked with the bottle and went down the street. He returned a short while later without it, If he told them where he put it the man might come after it so perhaps he would keep his silence on the matter.
He returned just as soon as Limber started asking the questions, she seemed to like interesting events....how odd, just a while ago she looked like she would go insane...yet now she was suddenly relaxed and in control. Helping the man lean against the wall wasn't something he planned on doing but he did it anyway despite the smell.
Limber's Idea to get information on the man would possibly work, but in the state he was in it was doubtful, but one should never give up hope.
'' Very well If we must help this man I might as well.'' Kanji said then simply sat down on the floor. It wasn't something he did often, but when this occurred it meant that he was about to concentrate on something. If this man was to give any relevant answers he would pick them up and analyze them as quickly as possible.
'' Perhaps one of the residents know him'' Kanji said still not used to speaking this much.
The Man stared up at her for a second before registering that she was talking to him. "McKlintock. Kurt McFuckinKlintock. And I... am a Man. A man's man, man. A drunken drinking drinky man."
“What is your favorite color?"
Once again, he stared at her, as though in deep thought over what his response would be. Eventually, he mumbled his answer... sort of. "Orange. No, beer?"
"Where were you born?"
"Somewhere between mama and the hospital floor, I think."
"Why are you here?"
"I seek the holy grail..." he slurred, rather heroically.
"How many eyes do I have?”
This time he squinted, possibly becoming the most focused he'd been since coming into contact with these two lovely ladies and their not so lovely comrade. He focus on Limber.
"More than zero... less than four."
At this point, the less-desirable gendered one sat down. '' Perhaps one of the residents know him"
"Rezidents know me?" He reached up and took hold of Limber's and Kai's wrists. For someone who could barely stand, he proved himself to be surprisingly strong and dexterous as he pulled at the two ladies in a way that would pull them off-balance and into his lap, his strong arm preventing them from crashing to the floor.
"Iffen you mean 'know' in tha Biblical sense.... then buddy, I'm all fer it." He grinned first at Kai, then Limber. "I'm real good when it comes to 'spreadin tha Gospel'."
Kai, the ball's in your court. If no one minds I'll post after her. Hopefully I'll have something to say that actually sounds like the character. Oh, yeah. I don't remember acting crazy in this thread. Limber's head problems are pretty much gone at this point in the timeline.

(Okay, thanks for the head's up Yanagi. Hrm, I don't remember mentioning your headaches in this particular thread, but thanks for telling me anyways.)
Her arms crossed, Kai turned her attention away from the newly introduced Kurt and looked to the sky. She was afraid to admit it, but she was a bit worried...worried about how much time had passed.
It wasn't as if she had anywhere to be, she had made that clear to herself, but she was fearful for how long this was taking.
Still twilight. She mused to herself, And telling time is still impossible. At least she felt that way, especially with the town's sky of forever oranges and reds.
Had she ever...known the time of the world, just by looking at the sky? It was an unusual thought, but Kai felt that everything around her was just...out of place anyways. Like it wasn't natural for her or as if if she wasn't meant to be here. She at least knew that she had come from somewhere besides this town...but she just couldn't remember.
But it must have been very different, She concluded, biting her lip. After all, if this place wasn't natural for her, there would have to be someplace that was...right?
"Rezidents know me?" Kai's head whipped around as Kurt surprised her by taking hold of her wrist, knocking her off balance.
"Hey! Let go of me, will you?" She teetered back while struggling, and fell clumsily into his lap. She tried to pry his arm away, but he was surprisingly firm.
While continuing her struggle, she had a sudden thought. She hadn't practiced in awhile, and she wasn't sure if it would work, but it was definitely worth a try.
She closed her eyes, her mind beginning to focus. Normally she wouldn't even have to, but with her power's lack of use lately, it was necessary. Her hands now on the arm Kurt was holding her still with, she allowed her hands to begin to grow hot. However, she wouldn't let the heat transform into flames, after all, they didn't have water handy, but maybe the feel of searing coal would set him jumping...and she could get away.
It would only take a couple of seconds, but all she had to do now was wait for the pain to sink in.
(What is the airspeed velocity of a swallow?) McKlintock. Kurt McFuckinKlintock. She assumed that the middle part was optional. The rest was less than helpful. She supposed automatic responses should be reserved for people who’s intoxication was not so much that it gave them time to think about the questions.
“More than zero…less than four."
At those words Limbers’ eyes, the ones in question, narrowed. She was torn between being amused and frustrated. Was he drunk or too smart for his own good? He was certainly drunk and capable of complete sentences so he probably wouldn’t die. That was the information she had wanted after all. She could feel no guilt for leaving him alone and bleeding beside the train station. Perhaps Ms. Williams would find him. Of all those eligible grandsons, one had to be perfect for Kurt.
She was surprised when Mr. Mclintock grabbed her by the arm and pulled both her and Kai down. “Hey! Let go of me, will you?” protested Kai They landed in his lap, Kai struggling like a cat that didn’t want to be held while Limber just lay where she had fallen, her mouth open. She closed it after a moment once her tongue started to dry out and she realized what her expression must look like.
"Iffen you mean 'know' in tha Biblical sense.... then buddy, I'm all fer it. I'm real good when it comes to 'spreadin tha Gospel'." He said, grinning from her to Kai.
Well, this was new, thought Limber as she stared at Kurt in surprise. He was much closer now and his arm hair was scratchy against her arms. She hadn’t been accosted by a drunk before. She looked at Kanji at a loss as to what to do. She looked at Kai. The girl had stopped struggling but she was definitely not content with her situation. Her expression was not passive, despite the closed eyes and, even though her hands had flattened out on their captors’ arm, Limber had a feeling she was far from done fighting. Limber thought she smelled burning hair.
