In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Twilight Town was one of the few worlds that was often free for visits. Today was an interesting one as the town seemed quite busy. The sudden burst of activity was very peculiar indeed, and lately Twilight Town has had very little strange events, and the residents hope that the peace will last.
At the station after docking his ship a male stepped out and examined the strange new world. It appeared to be a town, it had a calming feel to it...and...a sun! It had been quite some time since the male had seen it. The golden orb brought back memories that he had long forgotten. After getting used to the feeling the male took a step forward then noticed something.
He had gotten much taller than he expected which meant he was growing much faster than his age again. Kanji pushed the thought out of his mind. He simply walked over to the small brick wall in front of the station and stood there examining the town.
Limber wandered the streets of Twilight town. Occasionally she would look up at the roof tops but then she would return her attention to the street and the people on it. She had some munny, she had a tree and she was planning on getting training so that she could defend herself better. She glanced upward again, she wasn't doing it consciously.
There were many people on the street. More crowded than usual. She wasn't really that interested in the crowds. It wasn't really a day she felt like people watching.
She wandered aimlessly, wondering what her family was doing back home. How her sister was. Little things like that. She fingered one of the open holes in her brother's knuckles and wondered if they'd finally found who killed him. Doubtful and impossible to find out, but still she wondered idly if they had.
With her feet on autopilot Limber wasn't paying attention. She glanced at the rooftops one more time and felt her head connect with a hard flat surface. As she fell she looked up and realized she had bumped into a brick wall.
Kanji was busy examining the town to notice anything truly peculiar. This part of the area was empty, which made the golden sun far more enjoyable. Strangely enough though he heard a sound as if something hit the wall. The male didn't turn immediately he still kept on enjoying the view, however when he did he saw someone on the ground.
It was strange did people randomly collide with walls here? That would be silly, but not something shocking compared to what he's seen. Kanji walked over to the girl and simply offered his hand to help her up.
The girl did look a bit strange to him, he wasn't sure why though
Limber gingerly put a hand on her head and let out a tiny sigh, her teeth gritted. She could already feel swelling and just a little bit of wetness, probably blood. As she carefully pulled a strand of her hair from the wound, wincing as it insisted on sticking, she realized that she was in shadow. She was in shadow because someone was standing over her with his hand out. Limber took it and was pulled up.
“Thank you, she said, one hand still on her forehead. She leaned carefully against the wall that had caused her injury (she’d decided not to hold it against the wall)and looked at the person who had helped her up.
He was tall, she frowned, she had to look up to see his face. He was handsome and she liked his hair. Why did men in this world have to have such pretty hair?
“Did you see me run into the wall?” As she asked, she looked around to see if anyone else showed any signs of having seen. She usually watched where she was going and to bump into a wall of all things. A stationary object.. She glanced at the roof tops again then back at the boy. He was tall, had good eyes, good shiny hair and she felt the urge to check his teeth. “Might as well be polite, she didn’t know who he was after all. “Hello, my name is Limber. May I ask your name?”
Kanji blinked when he noticed how long the girl was looking at him. It didn't last long however as his attention was suddenly taken by the wound on her head. The bump must have caused it, he couldn't help but examine it since he was used to doing such things. After akwardly starting at it he suddenly remembered the Limber's question.
The male slipped off his bag and took out a small cloth. '' I am Kanji hitusugaya, I'm afraid I missed your encounter with the wall'' he paused then was about to clean a bit of blood that was on her head before stopping.
“Hello, Mr.Hitsugaya.” Limber watched as Kanji reached towards her head and was relieved when he asked for permission and that he was going to use a cloth instead of a bare hand.
Limber shook her head her hair falling in her face. “I know it seems useful to rub a cloth on a bare wound but I’d rather not be in anymore pain. If you had some antiseptic or the cloth was wet it would be a different matter. Leave it alone. It’ll heal on its own.”
She stared at her hair, a couple more strands had gotten sticky and she brushed more off her forehead. “On the other hand, if you have something I can tie my hair back with, that I would appreciate.”
Instead of saying anything he simply looked in his bag again. In fact he checked it several times, nothing that useful was found...well, for medical purposes anyway. Kanji did manage to find a black thread in his bag. It wasn't something that he was used to finding in his equipment anyway, but he was about to complain. The redhead took it out and handed it to Limber then continued searching his bag again.
After a few seconds of searching he set his bag down to give her all his attention seeing as how he didn't have anything else to do. He still stayed quiet believing that it wasn't a good time to speak yet.
Instead he simply waited for her to find use of the band
Limber watched Kanji, no, Mr. Hitsugaya as he searched his back pack. He finally found a black thread which he handed to her and then returned to his search. Limber looked down at the black thread. It was about twelve inches long and the sort of thread used to sew things and, of course, black. She was sure that it had fallen out of the lining of the back pack.
Limber looked at Kanji who was now watching her. She gathered her hair together to one side in a halfhearted attempt to even pretend she would use the thread. The gathered hair filled her fist. She looked at Kanji again and felt bad. He was trying to be helpful.
“Is this all you found? she asked. I suppose I’ll have to use what I can.” She took a small section of hair, the part to the front and nearest her bump and started braiding it. About three inches from the end she divided the remaining hair in two and began wrapping the thread around the alternating sides. When she was done she tucked the end in and pulled it tight. She stared up at Kanji. “So, the sun is nice today, very twilighty.”
Kanji sighed. He didn't anticipate someone getting hurt, so he didn't bring any medical supplies with him. Perhaps it was best that he avoided such accidents in the future. Once Limber managed to chance the subject he felt quite concerned but he shook off the feeling she clearly didn't want anyone worrying about her. At first he didn't answer her since he had to examine the sun once more.
After that was done he turned his attention back to Limber, yet instead of talking he examined her appearance. Something struck him however. While he wasn't one for conversations, he did realize that his silence might have a different affect on the people here.
Upon this realization he decided to try a different tactic. '' I agree it is quite nice today. Forgive my lack of speech miss Limber, I am not used to conversations.'' Kanji said politely and honestly.
He cleared his throat to try and speak again. '' Are you busy at this current time?''
Limber felt awkward as Kanji also looked up at the sun, waiting for his response. This young man was nice but he struck her as dim, more so than the sun they were both staring at. She wondered if she could walk away without making things more awkward.
'' I agree it is quite nice today. Forgive my lack of speech miss Limber, I am not used to conversations.''
Limber flinched, Miss Limber?
He spoke again '' Are you busy at this current time?''
Limber stared at the passerby and hoped that someone, anyone she knew would be in the crowd. She'd been in town for a week so that was doubtful, but one could hope. She stared up at the rooftops again a slightly pleading look in her eyes.
Limber sighed. Fine. She didn’t have anything to do right now. She didn’t have anywhere to be and hopefully she would get a free meal out of the whole affair.
She looked up at Kanji, nearly blinded by the red hair as he was standing in front of the sun. “No, Mr. Hitsugaya, I don’t have anything I have to do at this current time. What did you have in mind. She made a pained face, And, if you please don’t call me Miss Limber. I am not a kindergarten teacher. If you must, call me Miss Gay.
Kanji carefully observed how his words affected the person in front of him. He noticed how she acted as if she didn't really want to be there. Fair enough, this didn't surprise him...he wasn't very entertaining. It's not that he wanted to be this way, but since he didn't have much experience in talking this was quite difficult for him. It was clear that he hadn't come across one of the most helpful people here.
Not that he was complaining much, though..another person around would be useful. Perhaps it was time that he at least attempted to speak more often. If most people here were like this he would have to speak a lot more than usual
He may have spent most of his life training, but he was certain that he hadn't outgrown everything, surely there was still a 16 year old person somewhere inside him.
'' Well'' he began then picked up his bag. '' Actually I just arrived here, and I was wondering if you could give me a quick tour or explanation of the major locations in town'' Kanji said then oddly enough decided to smile.
Even If she was going to leave some directions would help.
'' Well'' Limber watched as Kanji picked up his bag. '' Actually I just arrived here, and I was wondering if you could give me a quick tour or explanation of the major locations in town'' He smiled. Limber had been right, he did have good teeth.
There, he had composed a complete sentence. Maybe there was hope for him yet. she smiled a small smile back.
" I’d try to show you around but I doubt I will be of any help. I just arrived in this town recently myself and the person who showed me around was not very knowledgeable about the sights. If you’ll just wait here I’ll see if I can find someone to answer your questions.”
Limber walked a few steps and then turned back, her braided strand of hair swinging into her eyes. She brushed it back. “I will come back.” She walked off into the crowd, looking for anyone who seemed to know where they were going.
(If someone wants to join in, now would be the time. Jump in or PM me so I have someone to bring back. Just need someone to give directions and then leave. If they want.)

"Another boring day," Kai sighed miserably to herself. She had been in this town for so long, it was beginning to get difficult to make any sense of things. She hated it. Ruffling her choppy blue hair, she paced idly along the sun-streaked paths, her dark green eyes twinkling. Maybe, just maybe, today would be the day she found some excitement around here...maybe even find a way out? Like that would ever happen. " I’d try to show you around but I doubt I will be of any help. I just arrived in this town recently myself and the person who showed me around was not very knowledgeable about the sights..." She stopped in her tracks, turning around. There were two of them for sure, one a guy and one a girl, though the girl had begun walking off in the opposite direction. She pursed her lips. They looked friendly, so she thought. They definitely didn't look like the type to kill her on sight. She clutched her flaming katana more tightly, as if to reassure herself. This might just be your last chance, She thought urgently. Taking a deep breath, she charged through the crowds, skidding to a halt in front of the unknown girl. Breathless, she spoke, "Um, hey. I heard you sort of needed help back there," She smiled, still breathless, "Directions, right?" I hope this works, She silently begged. Boredom was the last thing she needed today.
"Last stop, Central Station." said the pre-recorded voice over the train's speaker system.
A man grumbled, though what it was he said would be impossible to determine as it was nothing more than incoherent slur. He hefted himself to his feet off of the train's seat, teetered a bit, but righted himself as he began to shamble towards the open door of the locomotive.
The unbalanced ambulation continued. Across the train yard, up the ramp, past the ticket booth, and out of the front door. There, he encountered sunlight, something he hadn't seen in... in... he looked at his watch. The numbers seem to distort and spiral, he was unable to make anything out. He dropped his wrist and stumbled forward again.
His combat boots thudded heavily against the ground, as if his body were fatigued. Granules of salt clung, strewn to the front of his military-style camouflage pants. He must have lost his belt... because what he was using was nothing more than a cut section of black nylon rope. As he shambled through the courtyard, he didn't seem to notice anything or anybody, the entire time mumbling and grumbling in-cohesively, his sentences punctuated by random yet clear fragments such as "This one time in boot camp" and "that's how we did it back in Iraq..."
Nothing seemed to catch his gaze. He didn't seem to focus on anything. He seemed unable to focus. He raised a beefy, hairy arm to scratch at his chest as he shuffled forward, eyes down-trodden. That was when it happened.
Thud. Ka-thump.
He had shambled straight into a brick wall, his own forehead colliding mere inches over a previous yet small blood stain before collapsing to his back. It was fortunate for him, I suppose, that he just happened to be wearing a bra on his head, as he had been the entire trip here. It have offered some sort of protection, right?
When he fell, his hand relaxed, allowing what it clenched to roll free from his hand. A very large, and very empty bottle of what was labeled as and smelled like very strong booze. He groaned for a few moments before muttering...
"They got me, Gunny. Headshot. Quick, someone saddle up the ponies and tell Colonel Sander to save me a potato."
( opps hope I'm not late thanks for joining everyone)
Kanji wasn't surprised when Limber walked off. Sure she was going to look for directions, but something told him that she had been waiting for an opening to be excused. But perhaps jumping to conclusions wasn't a good idea. He held his bag a bit tighter than continued to gaze at the beautiful town that he just arrived on.
His concentration was taken form him when an a person yet again hit the wall. Were people naturally clumsy here? His eyes moved from the man's head to the bottle he was holding. This caused Kanji to remember an incident which involved him throwing a drunken man through a glass window.
He wasn't going to do the same this time, the other man needed that punishment, this guy wasn't worth his time.
Instead of saying anything to man he simply continued to look at the city. Kanji had a more important job right now, which involved forming sentences.
