In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

( My apologizes everyone I had to make an unexpected leave, but never fear I am back)
A bit of akward silence followed as the man who introduced himself as Kurt McKlintock finished speaking. Kanji put both his index finger and thumb on top of his nose just to show his disappointment in everything that came out of the man's mouth. He suddenly had the desire to throw this man over the brick wall. Sure he would probably die....but thats the main idea.
The martial artist had handled his fair share of.....drunken people. Mostly all of them make it out alive, probably a few brushes and broken teeth nothing important. It was only recently that he broke one man's leg, and that was an accident. But enough about that, he still had to bring himself to look at these people....he was starting to miss Saga.
Now to deal with whatever he was dealing with, why was he here again? This was most likely the longest time that he had spent in one place, and it wasn't something that he was familiar with. That didn't matter now however, there was still this matter.
Limber seemed to look at him for a second, and Kai was busy concentrating...what was she trying to do? This wasn't a time for wondering either, now was the time to unfortunately get involved in all this.
Kanji stood up after his long silence and it took every bit of his might to prevent himself from knocking this man into next month. Despite this, Kanji brought himself to think about what truly bothered him about this man. He didn't really have anything against him in particular, so what was it that was so...irritating. This was all answered as a breeze carried the man's smell to Kanji. Ah....it was the drink.....that was it.
'' This is clearly getting us nowhere'' he stated. Helping the two girls occurred to him, but something about what Kai was doing told him to wait.
He looked at the two, then at McKlintock......this was really not going anywhere.
Since everyone seemed occupied at the moment Kanji scooped up his bag and took out a book. Without hesitation he stood there and began to read as if nothing was going on.
Drunkeness. It was a doubled edged blade. On the one hand, it slowed one's mental processes, giving them a liberating feeling of amplified emotion and lowered inhibitions, making the cowardly brave and the brave stupidly brave. Pain was dulled and in some cases flat-out nullified, making a drunken warrior a veritable juggernaut. However, there was a draw back. Like the slowed mental processes; like dulled pain.
The scent of burning hair was the first thing Kurt noticed. He sniffed a few times, unable to properly identify the smell for a few moment. He was preparing to ask if anyone else smelled that when he felt the warmth. No.... not warmth. What was it? His mind reached through the boozey fog for the answer. Not warm. Not cold.... hot? Yeah. Hot.... Very. Very hot. Very hot? Here, his arm literally burst into flames.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOHMAHGAWDIMONFIRE!!!" he released his grip on the two women, long after Kai had begun her self-defensive drunken-lech repellent technique.
He flailed his arm, repeating the shouted statement of the obvious- that he was, in fact, on fire. Once the young ladies had vacated his lap, he proceeded to lay back. Stop and drop were covered... as he tried to remember what step three was, he continued his repeated shouting and flailing. Then it dawned on him. Liquid. Douse fire with liquid.
His non-ignited hand made a reached for his shirt... wherein was a flask. In a panic, he practically ripped the top off and poured it upon his flaming arm. As far as his intoxicated mind was concerned; liquid + fire = douse. He sighed in relief and began to sit back up, unaware that what may have been reality in his mind was far from reality.
FWOOSH!
Where his forearm had once been on fire, his entire left arm was now infernally ablaze. Regardless, he sat there, looking up at the three.
"That waz a cloze one. Spontanerous comburs.... combus..... lighting-on-fire's no joke."
He started to rise, arm still conflagrating. "Now where didje wanna go? I ken take yew wherever you wanted to go.... *sniff, sniff* Is somethin' burnin'?"
Limber watched, fascinated as Kai worked. She’d been using her power for a while now and arm hair and skin were definitely heating up. The smell of the meat might have been pleasant if it weren’t for its accompaniment of burnt hair.
When Limber looked up she saw that Kurt seemed to know something was going on though I didn’t look as if he’d figured out what. Just then his arm caught on fire and she saw comprehension dawn. He released his grip on the two of them and Limber just managed to catch herself with her palms against the ground. She winced.
She stood and turned to watch the drunk as he flailed around screaming on the ground. He might have been saying he was on fire. She couldn’t tell for sure.
Then something seemed to click and Kurt McKlintock pulled out a flask and poured it over his arm and Limber gaped. It couldn’t be. Yes. Yes it was. Whoosh. The drunks’ arm was a mass of flames. They were pretty and as a plus there was no longer such a strong smell of burning hair: just cooking meat and accelerant. Was that the smell of…apples, or was her nose to the point that it was creating camouflage for the real world.
Regardless of her observations, Mr. Mcklintock was now sitting on the ground staring up at them as if everything was just fine. "That waz a cloze one. Spontanerous comburs.... combus..... lighting-on-fire's no joke."
"Now where didje wanna go? I ken take yew wherever you wanted to go.... “ he said, standing up. Limber got over her surprise and turned to Kai. “Sooo. Have you got any way to put out the fire?” She did consider trying to push him down and get him to roll but had a feeling that, even drunk, he was as immovable as the brick wall he was standing in front of. Well, nearly.

As Kurt released his grip, Kai fell backwards to the ground, and used her hands to cushion her fall. At first she was satisfied, not to mention proud of herself. It had worked. She had used her fire to get out of his reach.
But Kai wasn't proud for much longer. She soon spotted Kurt flailing around and shouting, his arm enveloped in fiery, white flames. Her eyes widened instantly. Had she concentrated too hard? Or was it her lack of practice lately?
She was about to dash forward...to do something, but Kurt, now sitting on the hard ground, had reached into his shirt, and pulled out a flask.
"No! Wait! Don't__" Kai held her hands out to stop him but watched in horror as their new-found friend poured the liquid all over his arm, instantly feeding the flames. She gaped.
So much for some simple smoke, She thought shockingly, watching him for any realization to what he had just done. Nothing happened.
"Sooo," Kai found Limber to be speaking, "Have you got any way to put out the fire?"
"Um, actually, no, I don't," She smiled sheepishly, "got any water?"
Maybe he was being unreasonable. These people were the first humans outside of Traverse Town that he met..so why not act a bit more friendly? It's not like he wasn't able to do that...besides he's read the book three times already. The burning smell wasn't helping much either, especially since it was so close.
Kanji closed his book and walked over to his bag. '' Don't worry....let's just hope it didn't burn his hand'' he said as he pulled out a large bottle of water, how that was able to fit in there....was still a mystery. He took it out opened it and then emptied the whole thing onto Kurt's arm.
It didn't take long for the fire to soon disappear and hopefully there would be no damage. With that dealt with he picked up the second bottle and placed it in a corner next to the stairs.
'' Alright you owe me a large bottle of water for that...I hate to see you when your sober'' Kanji said to the man known as Kurt.
'' As long as he stays away from any more of those bottles he should be alright...now I think moving from this place would do him some good.'' he said to the other two.
The drunken Man, now dripping wet, but considerably less on fire, stared blankly at Kai for a few moments. Finally, something Kai said sunk in.
"Bottle?"
Right on cue, Kurt pulled at his belt, loosening the kung-fu grip that his camo-pants had had on his waist as he reached his other hand down his pant leg. Low and behold, but what should he pull from the depths of what could only be imagined as unfathomable horror? No. it was not a rabbit. Nor a bird. Nor a hankie. Not even a clown.
There, in Kurt's hand, was another, brand new, never opened, completely filled, shiny bottle of large size and clear fluid content. The exact same kind of bottle he had been stumbling around with.
"I found da bottle." He said as he began trying (and failing) to open it.
As Limber watched a grown man stick his hand down his pants she reviewed the last several minutes. A lot had happened but they were still in exactly the same place they had been, even the blood stains were still fresh. Nobody had moved and Limber was getting impatient.
At this point the treasure the man had been digging for was unearthed. It was another bottle of alcohol. He struggled to open it.
“This won’t do,” Limber muttered to Kai. She stepped forward.
“Give that to me,” she said as she held out a hand. If he wouldn’t give it to her, she intended to try and grab the damn thing.

"Give that to me," Kai watched with disbelief as Limber held out her hand for Kurt's bottle. Could it even be slightly possible that Kurt would readily hand it over?
Probably not... She immediately answered her own thought, feeling slightly annoyed she had even asked the question. Kai crossed her arms, waiting for Kurt's response.
What time is it? She turned her head to look for the Clock Tower. It seemed hours ago since they had all met. Her dark green eyes darted to each side of her, taking in the whole area. Were they even in the same spot?
Deciding she was being negative, Kai quickly diverted her thoughts to what was happening now. She had to learn to at least enjoy the moment. She could always be doing nothing...
Things weren't looking good at all, where on earth did he get that bottle from? Kanji was even more tempted to knock this man out, but he had to think first as annoying the habbit of drinking was, he didn't want to go overboard like last time. He wanted to remain as clam as possible, that was always the best thing to do.
He looked at Kai then back at Kurt...this was getting rediculous. And down right annoying.
'' Hand it over McKlintock....it' for your own good'' Kanji said to him.
"NAAAAAAAW!" Kurt shouted at Limber, tucking the bottle against his body before once again offering it in Kanji's direction. "Iss fer heem! He sayd Ah owes him a boddle fer the boddle of boddled boddle stuff he unboddled on my bod... bod.... on mah person."
'' Hand it over McKlintock....it' for your own good'' Kanji said to him.
"Yar, it IS for mah good. It's full uv makes-you-moar-manlier- vitamins and nutrients. An' makes me feel all warm an' happy an' sometimes wake up in strange places with no clothes on... but Ah insist. Cuz yer boddle iss gon."
He once again shoved the large bottle of what was certainly dangerous for human consumption, to Kanji's chest. He then spun, raising his finger into the air and crossing an arm across his chest like a man beginning a speech.
"Now Ah'll shew yew around. Foller me!"
And just like that, Kurt startled a drunken and uneasy shambling down the hill road leading away from the train station.
Limber flinched as Kurt yelled at her. She sighed as he held out the bottle to Kanji, and shrugged. Fine.
"Yar, it IS for mah good. It's full uv makes-you-moar-manlier- vitamins and nutrients. An' makes me feel all warm an' happy an' sometimes wake up in strange places with no clothes on... but Ah insist. Cuz yer boddle iss gon," said Mr.McKlintock. He shoved the bottle at Kanji.
Fair trade, hardly, thought limber grumpily. Some manners though, just not the important ones.
Limber shrugged again and followed after the drunk. She’d think of him as Kurt again when she wasn’t irritated with him. He’d almost certainly lead them to more alcohol, he was probably the best tracker in the world for booze.
She was the sort of person to follow a drunk, just because. She wondered if the others were too.

"...but I insist, cuz your boddle is gone."
Kai watched as Kurt shoved the bottle into Kanji's chest, and spun around, placing a hand to his heart. It was almost like he was going to give a speech, but Kai knew better with him being in such a state. Or did she? Who knew what sort of words could suddenly come spurting from his mouth...
"Now AH'll shew yew around. Foller me!"
Kai stifled a laugh as Kurt had began to shamble away from the train station and down the road. She wasn't laughing at him, but the sudden change of action had definitely left her amused...
"Coming?" She quickly shifted her green eyes to Kanji and Limber, watching them. "We better go before it gets late...if it already hasn't."
She glanced up towards the sky, but she quickly returned her gaze to around her, and began to walk.
( Yosh! really sorry everyone!!! Usually this wouldn't happen damn school!! Anyway ok...here we go!)
Nothing important was really happening...thats all he had to keep telling himself. It's not like he had anything better to do with his time....so why not tag along? That felt like a good Idea at least for the time being. Sure it was getting dark and today wasn't turning out exactly as he hoped it would.....there wasn't anything to do other than follow these people.
As Kanji followed the group he began to wonder..exactly what brought him here in the first place? Well perhaps now wasn't the time to ponder about such things.
'' It's not like we have much of a choice''' he said after he made up his mind.
He once again had to dispose of a bottle wonderful. This seemed like the best time to into deep thought, if he was needed someone would inform him.
"Thus here's a wall." Kurt said as the grand tour guide, pointing to his right as they made their way down the hill from the station. "An' thus is another wall." He pointed to his left. "They're made a' bricks... er.... something.... an' were built back in.... in...." He squinted. 'They were built when someone decided a wall needed built."
He stopped at the first flat area on the hill. To his right was a door that lead into the subway. He stared at it a moment.
(Short, late and I'm going to be gone for a month. Skip me if you guys want. Unless there's fighting and a need to get out of the way, or, lets say, an outburst, Limber'll be happy to not say anything and stay in the back. Happy All Hallows Eve.)
Limber followed several feet behind. She grinned periodically, this was fun. Not informative in the least, but sometimes it was nice to just have things be fun.
"IT'S A TRAP!" Limber ducked, her smile gone, her eyes searching wildly. Where? What was a trap! What?
If that wind bag had yelled out a false alarm… Damn! She straightened, still searching. Did the others see anything?
