In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Another fiery sunlit evening at Twilight Town in the summer. A typical lazy afternoon where the children entertain themselves with all of their free time. Participating in Rumble events, doing chores for Munny so they can go to the beach. Discovering the wonders of the town.
But dark clouds are approaching. The magnificent sunset becomes veiled by massing grey clouds and the temperature is significantly dropping. Chilly winds started to gust through the streets causing all the summer dressed children to head home. Unusual weather has the citizens spooked and stunned. As the weather forecast couldn't explain this unexpected cold front that moved in over the town.
To some, it was obvious that this cold was not natural. And that it was only the least of the trouble that this peaceful town was going to endure. A malice force was creeping up out of the darkness. Color was slowly being sapped away with the oncoming storm. Who would withstand it?

Normally Arthas came every night to Twilight Town just to admire the sunset. But something was different today. The weather was unusually cold, and gray clouds had covered the town. "This isn't natural..." he said, Marumasa over his shoulder. He just got a sense of insecurity from this place, like something was going to pop out and attach him at a moment's notice...

"What...is that?" Kai gazed all around her, her face lined with worry. For weeks now she had been residing in Twilight Town, lost and alone. She had no idea why she was here or where she had come from...it was frustrating. The harsh winds blew her choppy blue hair around her as she tightly clutched her flaming katana, an unknown memory of where she used to be. It was really annoying...that just because you could control fire, everyone pretty much ignored you. Letting out a sigh, she looked again to the sky, her dark green eyes twinkling. Normally Twilight Town, despite the awful dump that it was, was sunny and peaceful, with children playing and shopkeepers buzzing around. But...this was different. Usual bustling shopkeepers were trying their hardest to close their shops against the harsh wind, children who were playing ball were urgently ushered inside by an elderly lady, and wary townsfolk continuously stared upward in fear...except for Kai. Well, it wasn't that she wasn't scared, after all, this storm was sending chills up her spine. It was just that, she felt indifferent to it all. The storm, though unusual and strange, had actually been a relief to her, considering this dump was the same day after day. Suddenly feeling lonely, she couldn't help but wonder. What was life if you didn't have a friend to share it with? She felt pathetic, getting excited over something as little as a storm. If only she could get out of this place, then she wouldn't have to just sit around like she did. 'But how?' Her thoughts were whipped away as she heard a noise. 'Footsteps?' Suddenly feeling fearful, Kai took a couple paces back, her flaming katana held upright. "Is somebody there?"
Against the background of passing grey clouds, the clock tower stood lonely at the town's skyline. The large, heavy bells hang silent, even in the strong gale that was blowing through the air. Above the clock's face, on the upper balcony of the tower. An suspicious figure in a dark robe appeared. The hooded man looked out over the rooftops, the alley's and the districts of Twilight Town. From here he could oversee the entire town. The perfect place to direct his grand plan. From his lips a sentence escaped. As the unknown figure said coldly to himself: "Let the experiment... begin."
The long sleeved arm moved forward as he stretched it out over the town. And by his sheer will, corridors of darkness started to open in various places in Twilight Town. Corridors escorting in a small nobody army. An invasion of the town had began. As those few residents that were still outside were now in immediate danger.
Tram Common In the largest area of Twilight Town. Dusks appeared on the many rooftops and higher locations, before jumping off and spiraling down to ground level. The many shops like the accessory shop, the armor shop and the synthesis shop were being attacked and vandalized by a total of 10 Dusks
The Sandlot In the Sandlot, a group of 5 Dusks appeared. And surrounded a group of children that were busy practicing their rumble techniques. The two boy's were so caught up in their training that they didn't notice the turning in the weather until it was to late.
Market Street At the long sloping main road that leads from the Tram Common up to the Station Plaza, Dusks appeared also. 3 at the top, 3 midway at the crossroads with the Back Alley and 3 at the bottom. Looking for hearts to claim.
Screams and cries could be heard as panic erupted. Residents were fleeing for their lives and hiding themselves into their homes. Windows and doors were slammed shut and locked. As none had the courage to go out and face these monsters... or perhaps there were a few that dared to defy them.

Ok, take your pick where you wanna be and start the fighting! Others can still join in!
Arthas heard the first screams come from the Tram Common. It was there that he ran, his katana at the ready. When he reached the Common, he looked around, seeking the enemy, which happened to be sneaking up on him. Just as one of the entrils were about to hit him, Arthas saw the movement and jumped back, shocked.
And tripped over a rock. He fell on his back, but rolled backwards and recovered as quickly as possible, slashing at the Dusk. He managed to scratch it on its arm, but couldn't do more with the initial swing. But the backswing got the job done, cutting right through the first Dusk.
Now Arthas was wary. He focused, his senses all at maximum alert. And thanks to that he heard the duo of Dusks sneak up on him. This time he was ready. He spun and put his hand out, saying, "Fire!" A fireball erupted from his hand, hitting the first Dusk almost dead on. He then took his katana and threw it at the other Dusk, impaling it through the chest. He ran over to his katana and dodged the Nobody's attack, missing the counterattack.

(Hope this helps.)
"Is somebody there?" Kai asked warily. She had thought she heard footsteps, but she was probably just being paranoid... Almost immediately as her thought ended, a higher-pitched shouting erupted from somewhere near the Sandlot, forcing Kai to her senses. She sprinted to the Struggle area, her dark green eyes flashing in horror to see two shaking boys surrounded by a group of...of something. They were tall and silver, with sharp, elongated limbs and their heads were similar to an upturned triangle, but with softer edges. A blank, indifferent expression consumed their faces... What...are they? Shock took hold of her. True, she had only been in Twilight Town for a couple of weeks, and she had no idea where she had been before, but she was pretty sure she had never seen these things. Quickly realizing that time was being put to waste, Kai sharply withdrew her katana hilt, barely blinking as a blade of fiery white flames formed, completing her weapon. She sprinted toward the silvery creatures. "Go!" She called to the two boys, not bothering to look if they had listened. She sensed danger. She took a deep breath, lowered her body, and swept her katana in a large arc, a few stray flames scattering around her. She lifted herself sharply, counter-attacking with a quick twist of her body, slashing her katana, hoping to send them back. Had she hit any? Would she attack any further? Kai gripped her katana more upright, watching straight ahead. She stepped forward, sending a sharp, downward hit. She became a bit unbalanced and veered back a little. She was terrified. Never before had she seen these things, and suddenly they just...came. Wasn't Twilight Town always peaceful? Of course, she had only been here a few weeks...but the thought of dying somewhere you didn't want to be sent chills down her spine. This fear gave way into courage, and with a couple twists of her body, she hoped to push them away with her blade. Kai brushed back a few wisps of her choppy, dark blue hair, her now tired eyes trying to see if there were more. She hadn't fought for awhile, so it wouldn't be a surprise if there was.
Three Dusks were hit in Kai's first wide arc of her fiery katana. Surprising the group as the three coiled back. The fabric of their bodies hurt by the burning blade. Losing interest in the two boy's all five turned round and looked at Kai. Sensing a much bigger heart for them to devour rather then those two little appetizers they were first preying upon.
The two boy's seeing an opening and as instructed by her, made a dash for it. Running away scared. It wasn't till they were halfway the Sandlot that they started to scream. "Dusks! We need to get Seifer!" "No, Hayner will deal with the Dusks!" "Seifer!" "Hayner!" And so the two boy's fled the scene. Arguïng about who to warn about these strange creatures that were apparently named: Dusks.
The Dusks however were now creeping closer to Kai and two of them lashed out with their long sharp arms. Kai's counterattack made her parry the attacks, swing around and end up behind the two Dusks. Both Dusks that attacked her were now confused and looking around. Trying to find her.
The other three however had less effort in tracking her fast movement and started to encircle her, just as they did with the two boy's. Kai's final attack that was an overhead downward slice hit one of the three Dusks on it's head. The blade of fire kept on burning through the torso of the pastel colored fiend. It shuddered and shook until it dispersed into a puff of grey smoke and disappeared. One had been defeated.
Four however remained and Kai found herself being attacked from the flanks. One swinging it's arms at her left side while the other was striking with it's body from the right side. The two that she had misled earlier were now also back. Stepping closer with their spineless legs and their zipper mouths open like hungry predators. They were not going to let a simple blade stop them from their meal.

So that's what they are. Dusks.
Triumph flooded over Kai as she found the one dusk that she had overhead-striked had dispersed into haze. But her relief was short-lived. Four dusks now remained, two of them stepping closer, mouths wide and open, as if they were thinking of her as a nice, tasty snack. Prey. Inside, she flinched, her anger beginning to well up. She was not going to die from these emotionless little monsters.
Two dusks were at her flanks. One was beginning to slash its arms at her left side, the other attacking with its body on her right. Pain began to sink in and she began to feel shaky.
She teetered back and away from the dusks and then bended forward, trying to catch her balance. Stabilizing herself, Kai extended her blade outwards and circled her free hand, gathering flames.
In a quick and effortless motion, she pushed her katana and hand outwards, rotating her body to aim it to her left, hoping the ball of fire would destroy the creature. She didn't stop to look if she had succeeded, but instead came toward the dusk that had been on her right.
As soon as she came within striking contact, Kai twisted the hilt of the katana in her hands and swiped just where the head of the dusk should have been. Had it dodged...had it turned to smoke?
"Doesn't matter," She addressed her thoughts, "As long as I get out of this mess."
The two Dusks followed Kai's movement with their featureless heads. Something of a faint screech could be heard coming out of their gaping mouths. Mouths with blackness that leaded into the abyss. The teeth of the zipper edges shining in the town's grey evening light.
Both stepped closer, engaging to attack again. They saw how the girl was gathering fire in her hand, they saw very well how she was going to strike again with one of her fire abilities. They saw all of this, and still it seemed they didn't care. Or their intelligence was to low to realize it. Instead of seeking shelter or preparing to avoid or deal with the obvious attack. The two mindlessly kept stepping closer.
The Dusk on the left was hit straight on by the fire. It startled and stunned the minor Nobody as it fell on it's back. Squirming and waving in pain, trying to put the fire out. His companion was completely uncaring to the fate of his fellow Dusk and kept on stepping closer to Kai. Raising his arms once again to strike.
But Kai moved faster and charged in with a quick and merciless assault. She felt her blade connect with the Dusk's head. The shock trembled down her blade, through her hilt into her arms. This one to was knocked back on the ground. Dazed for the moment. But still not fully defeated.
The two other Dusks were now on the initiative. The ones she had struck with her initial broad swing which she started the fight with. Bending through their knees like ballet dancers, the two jumped up in the air and remained there. Wiggling and wobbling with their bodies and limbs like sheets of paper being blown by the wind. The two soared through the air as they came spinning down on Kai with an aerial assault. Like kamikaze dive bombers they lunged down on top of her.
Tram Common Meanwhile, in the Tram Common. The Dusks were rampaging and vandalizing unchecked and unstopped. They had gathered around the armor shop and were beating down on the doors and windows. Glass was breaking and roof tiles were ripped off by the mob of Dusks Inside, the shopkeeper was hidden away. Trapped in his own house. He had taken the biggest and strongest shield he had for sale and was hiding behind it. Cowering in a corner, fearing for his heart. He was praying for the monsters to go away, praying that somebody would come and save him, and his shop.
Market Street Market Street was also being torn apart by the malevolent Dusks. Tearing off signs from the buildings faces and harassing the scared residents in their homes. Hammering down on the doors, trying to break them in and throwing rocks through the windows. So far the Nobodies were only doing superficial damage. But it would only be a matter of time before they would break through and start making casualties.
Clock Tower High on top of the Clock Tower of the station. A single person, in a black Organization XIII robe was looking out over the town. Seeing and hearing everything that the minions were doing. An grim, unpleasing pair of lips were peeking out from under the dark hood. He had been hoping for a little more resistance.
Then he turned his head very faintly to his right. Looking down on the stop where the Sandlot is. While thinking to himself: 'Ah,... a little seed of resistance. This experiment will prove to be interesting afterall.' The tips of his lips curled up faintly into a foul smile.

(Gah, late. :/ So sorry Iuma, school's been really interfering with my schedule lately. I'm really hoping to keep up more now. :] )
Great...more dusks, Kai thought bitterly. Two of them had now come towards her and launched themselves in the air, their silvery bodies remaining afloat. Their bodies curled and twisted, making her eyes hurt from strain.
"Why are you here?" She whispered quietly, studying them. Kai didn't expect them to answer, after all, they didn't seem very bright...but something else bothered her.
If these creatures weren't very smart, then they would need someone who was...right?
A manipulator. Kai's eyes lit with realization. Maybe, just maybe, if she could find the one behind it all, she could stop this mess, if there even was one.
She had no time to think however as a sudden movement caught her by surprise. The two dusks, who had been floating in the air, had now caterwauled themselves down towards her, about to land on top of her. A sudden flash of panic overcame Kai as she fell back onto the heels of her feet, desperately extending her katana to block the force of them. She rolled her body away, attempting to get out of their range. If she had been slashed or hit, she didn't know, for she felt pain all over. Standing up, Kai raised her blade, and stood her ground. So hard to kill... Her eyes flashed with fear, wondering if maybe someone would come and help. Probably not... With a deep breath, she charged towards them, katana held out at her side, and tried to slash through them. For extra measure, she threw one leg up, and twisted her body through the air...hopefully she would be able to kick them away. She landed with exhaustion, her knees beginning to shake. She needed help. Sure, she could do it alone, but it would be so much better if someone would help her. For now...she was left to fight.
The two Dusks that conducted an aerial assault were agitated by the resistance of the firey blade. Screeching and growling as their lean sharp arms were clawing towards her. Seeking to sink their teeth into the flesh to rip away untill they found the one thing they desire. The one thing that all Nobodies are missing.
The Dusks gathered. Standing all 4 before Kai. All reaching out to her like addicted pale junkies looking for a fix. Still the heart remained out of their reach. It was beating fast, they could hear it. Beating quickly like a drum. A drum summoning them closer like moths to the fire. Beckoning for them to be claimed. Or so it sounded in their minds, for the keeper of said heart had different intentions.
With a strong charge and a large sweep, the blade cleaved effortlessly through the 2 Dusks in front of Kai. Their hollow bodies dissapearing into oblivion. Her follow up kick also connected with a third Dusk who's head snapped back before also dispursing from her view.
Only one remained. One lone Dusk that stopped his advance and remained stationary. Staring at Kai while waving it's arms and body to the rythme of an unheard song. It seemed to be confused, or startled. Perhaps even afraid, if it ever was capable of remembering such a feeling.

Kai slowly steadied herself, her eyes meeting the one remaining dusk. Had she really done all of that? She was so sure that she hadn't...but the proof was right there...
She almost...felt sorry for the creature. The dusk appeared confused...maybe even scared. Was it feeling defeated? Kai watched the creature sway slowly, just swaying. Should she just walk away? After all, one couldn't do much harm, could it?
"Snap out of it," She murmured to herself. "Of course it could."
Now feeling silly, she straightened herself. If she could just get rid of this one, maybe she could see what was really happening around here. Kai once more held out her blade, along with her free hand. She swirled both together, and with a twist of her body, she released the flames towards the dusk.
The last Dusk yelped back as the flames engulfed him. Surrounding his hollow pastel body and captivating the creature in searing heat. With an agonizing sound, the whitegrey nobody melted away as it's ashes were caught on the cold gale the blew strongly over Twilight Town.
As the Dusk had completely burned up, a shower of health orbs and munny erupted. Scattering over the ground in the sandlot. Some of the green recovery balls that were launched in her direction made contact and dissapated in a whif of green energy that surrounded Kai's body. Healing her wounds and lifting her fatigue lightly.
The Sandlot was empty... but noises of fighting could be heard coming from the roads that leaded to both Tram common and Market Street
Tram Common The Dusks that appeared in this area, continued their rampage of terror and destruction. Unchecked and unchallenged. The armor shops was starting to show severe damage as it could not hold out the heartseaking monsters for long. The shopkeeper had taken the biggest and strongest shield he could find. And was tucked away in a corner, hiding behind it. Quivering in fear, praying panicly to be rescued.
Market Street The Dusks here were running out of superficial things to break or crush. Halfway up the steep slope towards the trainstation, they had found a large, heavy cart. Loading it with every bit of rubble they could find that they had tore of the sides of houses. It was becoming even more heavier. The mischievious Nobodies obviously have something planned with this cart.

Twilight Town is under attack. Dusks making a rampage of destruction in Twilight Town. And, guess what: The shark was the Defender of Twilight Town. Okay, okay, not very famous yet, but doesn't matters.
Two sections being attacked... Oh well, the Trann Common deserves atention, after all, is the "center" of the city, and where most people lives. It was priority.
The Hero jumped from a roof, directly to the ground below.
- Hey, white things. Why don't you mess up with someone of your rank? Here, come get me, bastards!
*Saying that, The Shark summoned his Sharkblade - a weapon that simulates the waves of the ocean. It was an Impact Weapon, like a Club for example. He prepared for the combat, carrying the weapon with it's two hands, and waited for the Dusk's to come close. The, he would start low, using normal attacks against them, and trying to dodge when they counter.*
