In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Max opened his eyes as he and Erika flashed into a white brick room. Max shook his head, trying to get rid of the spots in his eyes from the light of her teleportation orb.
"That thing still gives me a headache with all that bright light," Max said, rubbing his eyes as the spots began to fade from his eyesight,"Why does the light have to be so bright?"
He looked around the room now, taking in the small space. Like he had observed earlier, it was white brick, and very small. There was a window off to one side, and Max moved over to it, sticking his head out and looking around outside.
They were high up, in a tower in what appeared to be a castle made of the same white brick this tower was made of. The rooves of the whole castle were all blue. The other towers, like the one they were in, seemed swept to one side, almost like they had been buffeted by strong gusts of wind until they bowed like a piece of green wood.
"Come look at this," he said to Erika, turning his head to motio nto her to come look,"This is......weird."

Erika giggled, "Come on it's not that bad. After a while you get used to it, or learn to close your eyes." The gunslinger teased, "if it wasn't so bright, then it shows that it's dying and no longer useful."
She had gotten used to the teleporting orb after using it for over three years. Elisa and Erika would sneak out of the castle walls with it when they were forbidden to go elsewhere. Their mother--well Elisa's mother, Queen Gwendolyne, had secured them in the castle well enough that they hardly knew the business of the town, the townspeople, and the bridge from ruler and who they ruled over. Erika was the only one who knew nothing of the tyranny, but Elisa was always like a vixen. She was sly enough to know today's event and snag a teleporting orb, which is limited to armed forces, the queen, and significant others excluding the princesses, Elisa and Erika. Being cooped up like a bird, the teleporting orb has been a close friend to traveling and freedom.
Tucking her luminating passport in her fanny pack, Erika started to gaze at her new surrounding. The room was bricked with a flawless white almost like the marble in the mansion in the First District of Traverse Town. It had an endless ruby rug leading to who knows where as fire lamps lit the way. With light streaming from the windows, this world had a new air and feel far different from Twilight and Traverse Town.
Erika was about to wander until she heard Max. Approaching next to him, she peered out the window. The endless sky was as clear and blue like the skies of islands she met Rubix. Puffy white clouds strolled by casting the unique shaped castle in a momentary shadow. At the foot of the castles was an extended garden. The bushes and shrubbed were cut finely into works of art in figurines. With the tilting way the castle learned and all of this happy look of life, it did felt awkward; it seemed magical in a way.
"I know what you mean. I would ask where are we, but I doubt that can be answered." The gunslinger jumped feeling a sudden splash of water at the back of her bare calves. "What in the-" Eleanor gleamed as it pointed at the opposer...
"It's...a broom." The broom swayed a bit in acknowledge meant as the buckets of water it held rocked to and fro splashing drops of water. "Why is a broom moving..and why is it holding...buckets...of water...?"
This just boosted the wierdness of this world higher.
Max rolled his eyes as Erika told him the light from the teleporting orb wasn't that bad. It was to him. He honestly couldn't see for a few moments after it was used.
He nodded as she talked about what was outside and looked over at her in surprise as she jumped, turning around quickly and bumping him, almost sending him tumbling outside the window.
"Watch it!" Max said, wide-eyed and white-knuckled as he held onto the edge of the window, looking back at Erika. However, his jaw dropped as he saw the broom holding the buckets of water,"W-what......is that?"
He pushed himself away from the wall and walked over to the broom, poking the top of its handle multipe times, the broom turning to 'look' at him as he did so. He stepped back, looking at it with raised eyebrows. He looked over at Erika, a questioning look on his face.
"I take it you've never seen anything like this before?" he asked her.

The broom had a drunken sway as it distorted walk spilled more water on the floor thanks to the multiple pokes. The cleaning utensil was dizzy for a moment and tried to recover as Max backed away.
"Yes, I never seen a walking inanimate object...animated." Erika replied looking out the window with her arms folded over her chest. The broom jumped at the word animated causing more water to splatter on the floor. Her eyes peered over at the broom watching it look down at the puddles of water curiously as it was absorbed by the long carpet.
The broom put the buckets down as he mimicked Erika's stance. It bristles were parted in two resembling legs; one tapped in an annoying rhythm. A large gloved finger wiggled at Max, while its spare hand rubbed its head, the handle.
"I guess....it doesn't appreciate that." The broom dusted its shoulder of before grabbing a half filled bucket. Its hand beckoned them to fall, then picked up the remaining bucket. Standing erect it started to walk down the hall they were in.
"Well, I'm sorry," Max said, laughing at the broom as it waved a finger at him,"I just havent seen anything like you before. It's just really.....weird for me.
"Anyway," he said, looking over at Erika with a small chuckle,"I think we should probably follow it, huh?"
He grinned and bowed, motioning for her to go in front of him.

This is a first. We're relying our directions...to a broom.... Erika watched the broom in front of her as it waddled like a goose up the stairs. Now she was intrigued to give it a poke or too, but Max had already done enough. They're lucky the broom is actually guiding them somewhere.
On the walls stood tall pictures of an aristocratic mouse in various outfits. One he was wearing a patrotic outfit with a white curly wig. Another he was with another mouse, a female to be exact. They were holding hands with a dog sitting between them with a long pink tongue and a wagging thin black tail.
"Royal...Rodents...This is very..different." Erika looked back at Max, "Hopefully this isn't another property of a mob, unless there's a mob ran by..mice. Plus, they look....nice." The gunslinger couldn't think of any words as a pair of brooms ran past them with frailing arms.
Stepping to the side, Erika tried to dodge the traffic, while noticing that none of them had brooms in their hands. Turning her head, she watched them run quickly around the corner and out of sight. "Well aren't they in a rush..."
Water coated the entire floor and soaked the carpet. Consumed with observing, Erika ran into their escort. Again she nearly jumped with a squeal feeling and seeing the broom jump against in her in panic. The buckets it held fail to the floor from its quivering hands. As if stunned by fear, the broom fell limp to the floor; it wasn't moving.
"H-hey are you o-ok?" It was rather odd to talk to a broom, especially one that walked and fainted.
Right before them in a long hallway were tall heartless. It would be difficult to count how many since they flooded the hallway completely. They were vertical towers levitating from the ground. They were had alternating red and grey panels with gold rimming the red coloring as a trio of golden spikes emitting from underneath it. At the bottom in the front were black twitching heads with a pair of illuminating blinking yellow eyes.
Their tops were curled, while sparking with eletric energy. Two were charging to shoot a blast as another turned itself up before slamming on the ground sending a shock waves. Chaotically, more brooms fled past them leaving the duo to the heartless.
Max looked in shock at the brooms that ran past, giving a confused look to Erika. Then, their broom-friend stiffened and fell over, spilling its buckets all over the floor. Not wanting the water to ruin the obviously expensive carpet, Max used his magic to gather the water up, holding it in a large ball in front of him.
Then, he saw the heartless in the adjoining hallway.
"Dammit!" he said, immediately compressing the water in the ball and spreading it out to form a shield,"Erika! I'll protect! You shoot! Aim for their heads! That's the only vulnerable part. Hit anywhere else and you won't do anything."
He gathered up the rest of the water spilled across the floor, using it to strengthen the shield of water he already had, gripping the shaft of his spear tightly.

Checking the revolvers, Erika was already holding some bullets in her mouth before placing them side. Elisa and Eleanor haven't been used for a while, so the energy gauges were constant like they were in Twilight Town, half-way filled. As she made preparations, the Bolt Towers were buzzing their way closer to them. A balm of lightening was sent their way moving quickly through the water shield like fire in oil.
"Aim for the heads you said," Erika repeated before shooting at the first five black heads she could see with light charged bullets. She felt meteroid shot would be more useful, but they shot grained the guage more with the use of light energy. The water shield rippled as the bullets hit center between the yellow eyes of five heartless. "3...2...1," the bullet combusted with light. The heartless fell apart in darkness with the direct contact to their weak spot with the element of light. Hearts flew up in the air going who knows where.
Like an army, the remaining bolt towers filled in the paces of the fallen. The next row turned their bodies up before slamming it down to the ground. The Earth rippled harshly as the shock waves became visible rippling straight towards the shield. Hopefully it can stop or soften it. Glaring, Erika waited for a perfect shot. With such movements, it was hard to get the heads.
"..Come on already," the gunslinger growled. As one stood back up, Elisa sang loudly with the pull of a trigger. "Six down," the rest followed the same pattern in their stance of landing with the gun shots, "six, eight, nine, ten." Light flashed ten times already throughout the hall and out the windows.
Max manipulated the water shield as the bolt of lightning passed through it, trying to send it out the window behind him and Erika. However, his aim was a little off and the bolt hit the frame of the window, blowing chunks of rock and stone out of the window and into the garden outside.
"This is getting us nowhere fast," he growled underneath his breath,"At this rate, they'll just end up swamping us."
As the first row of Heartless slammed the ground, sending shockwaves towards them, he dropped the water shield, forming it up underneath their feet and lifting them into the air, off of the ground slightly.
"Erika, keep shooting! Just don't hit me!" he said before slowly setting her back on the ground and grabbing the water with his magic, bringing it with him into the fray. However, he kept his small water disc intact, using it to avoid any further shockwaves the heartless decided to use.
He rushed the front line of the monsters, bringing his spear around in a wide arc and slicing into the head of the nearest one, causing it to recoil and back up. Then, he pulled back and thrust forward, sending the warpike through one of its eyes, ending it as it disappeared in a spray of black mist.
As he did this, something large and round slammed into his back, knocking him off of his water disc and sending him slamming into the wall face-first, and then falling to the floor on his back. He groaned as he looked up and then shook himself out of the daze, reaching out for his warpike which had fallen nearby and leaping back to his feet, slicing into the nearest heartless as it prepared another bolt of lightning.
Jawn had been on quite a chase for a bandit and he had a good lead. As he was traveling to the world this supposed bandit was on, he went by disney castle and his senses went haywire. He was using the smell to follow the lead but right when he went by this place the smell went crazy, and he thought this would be a better place for a hunt. He set his ship to autopilot as he jumped toward the castle.
Landing on a tower he could hear two people talking, but these people weren't the source of the smell, but it was close. He saw the magic of the broom and followed as well but behind a close distance. When the two others ran into a heard of heartless Jawn could see they were having trouble. He debated on wether to help them or not and when he finally saw that they might not win he decided to jump in and help.
As one went charging in he got his blades out of the sheath and held them at the ready. He jumped into the battle with an actual jump on one of the bolt towers and stabbed it right in the head. Than he threw one of his smoke bombs to hide any movement as he stabbed into one more in a quick circular motion with his blades

Erika nodded at the command. Not wanting to inject him with light poisoning again, the gunslinger muttered a single world, "Reflect."
Light started to surround Max in a sphere stitched together by octagon. The light dimmed down in a reflecting barrier. It should be enough to protect him against the lightening bolt attacks and any stray shots. Honestly it won't last forever, but it was the least she can do to ensure that another bullet won't make contact with him. Max attack to the first line caused the first row to concentrate closely on him. There she found a gap to the next row. Her fingers gripped the triggers waiting to see glowing eyes to blast.
Another heart was released as Max slayed a heartless, but another knocked him off of his feet. Seeing the quick movement, Erika's focused shifted and shot the heartless before it can make another attack on the fallen warrior. Light blasted the creature into darkness adding another heart to flutter away.
Hearing a low beep, Erika's pistols were low on light. Cursing lowly, she started to charge Eleanor, while continuing to shoot Elisa. Her activites were cut short when another lept into view. Being in a trigger mode, the stranger was about to be shot in the ankle, but her mind forced her resist once seeing him stab a heartless.
Eleanor was half way filled, but Erika couldn't make another shot. She refuse to make a blind shot as smoke started to fill the room out of no where. The gunslinger could only wait for it to die out and charge her pistols.
Jawn could hear that one of them was angry so he though he should make best with this. The smoke was deep and dark but he could still smell each figure and where they were. After he slayed his one they all surounded him in the smoke. The heartless not knowing of this ability they probably thought they could get him by suprise.
"One... two three.... four!"
Jawn counted as he had known he had been surounded. As he counted he went in a full circle, counting one everytime he stopped. He smelled there presence and stood there waiting for them to attack for a little bit.
Once one of them finally went into action than everything unfolded. It went up for a slam to get him while he was surounded and right when it was about to come down it got one of the suriken jammed right through his head inbetween the eyes and it slowly faded. Three more got ready for another slam and Jawn took out his rope and wrangled it around one of them in an instant. He pulled it towards himself as it was about to attack on jumped on top of it while swinging his blade in a circular motion.
As he swung it it went right through the face to eliminate it and right when it was about to dissapear he jumped off toward the other two who had already finished there slam and were ready for another. He used his other blade in this and jumped right inbetween them with his blades spread out to each side. As he landed the swords went through both of their faces and he had eliminated all four that had him surounded.
As the smoke had cleared he thought he was in the clear when to of them caught him in a beam by suprise. The shock of it all made him drop his blades and nothing in his belt could help in a situation like this. As the smoke cleared it could be seen Jawn was in the air held up by two different beams and about to be finished off.
(hey, Jawn, mind not completely disrupting the posting order? lol. with just three people in the thread, there's no chance of you getting left behind in the action, so there's no need to post out of order. )
Max jumped in surprise, seeing a glowing circle surround him as he took out the heartless that'd knocked him to the ground. He turned to look at Erika, thinking it was her since it hadn't hurt him any.
Then, as he turned back to the heartless after a split second, he saw some.....guy with a large coat jump on top of one of the Heartless, swinging away at them with swords. He seemed to be doing a good job, and Max ignored him, continuing fighting the Heartless, swinging his spear at them and taking another one out until the man tossed some smoke bombs, obscuring them in a screen of smoke.
"Idiot!" he muttered, knowing Erika wouldnt' take the chance of firing blindly into the smoke and hitting them. This guy had just disabled their best support fighter.
putting it out of his mind, he whirled around, slamming his warpike through the head of a heartless that had been sneaking up behind him, the black creature dissipating in a swirl of black mist, a small heart spiraling upward as it disappeared.
Finally the smoke began to dissipate and Max could see the man suspended in the air by a bolt from one of the Heartless. Shaking his head and hoisting his warpike overhead, throwing it through the air and straight into the Heartless' head, killing it, his warpike falling to the ground underneath it as the black mist dissipated.
Quickly forming the water he'd gathered around him and forming it into a large number of hardly compressed water balls, he began slamming them into the Heartless' heads, not doing any real damage, but rather beating them back, the water balls forming a furious, protective, watery whirlwind around him, pushing his way closer to his warpike.

Lyon was walking through the castle searching for the treasury or wherever they kept the valuables when he heard the shouting and sounds of a fight. Wondering what was going on he headed towards its general direction when he saw them. 3 people and several bolt towers were fighting and the battle seemed to be pretty even, he figured he'd give them a hand and hopefully they could point him to the treasury. Dashing in he pointed his fingers towards 3 of the bolt towers sending 3 tendrils of darkness at them each one piercing the face and destroying them.

order Max Lyon Erika Jawn [squee!]
The hallway was starting to clear as the bolt towers numbers began to deminished as the smoke cleared. Erika sighed thankfully seeing that through the duration of the bog Max and the stranger were still in one piece. Her pistols were now fully charged. Going back into concentration mode, the gunslinger turned her head to an unfamiliar yet familiar voice with a fully charged loaded pistol with the safety unlocked.
The pistol nestled in the center of the head of a young male. He looked younger than Rubix meaning he was much younger than Erika. She chuckled once replaying what he said in her head and pulled Elisa away from him, while not even recognizing his face"I'm sorry about that, and yes help would be-"
Lesson of today: Never turn one's back to a blind spot not even for a second.
The wind was knocked out of Erika's diaphram after behind knocked over. Her mouth ripped open at the forced exhale as a Minute Bomb snickered and charged a headbutt towards the newcomer, Lyon. With the sudden decline of Bolt Towers, Minute Bombs hoped out of their nest of darkness. Three were wobbling over to Erika and the youth as five charged to the warpike user and Jawn.
Getting up, Erika leaned against the wall taking an inhale. Seeing the upcoming heartless, she pulled trigger idely noticing the appearance of descending numbers over it. As soon it reached one was the moment, she pulled the triggered; the heartless exploded in a self destruct in a bomb.
"Reflect!" A pair of defensive dooms appeared over the Erika and the stranger next to her to protect them from being burned and injured from the bomb. The force of the bomb had pushed her back causing her aim to be off when she shot again.
