In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Lyon strode towards the heartless. He stabbed his osafune on the ground before jumping on it and balancing. He closed his eyes and kicked off jumping into the air and covering a ceiling lamp. His shadow now cast over them he willed hundreds of spikes to stab through the majority of the heartless leaving them down to 20 and injuring 10. He fell down and landed on his feet but remained kneeling down, panting. He looked back toward the older man and the girl. "You two can handle the rest, right?" He then passed out falling over his head next to his sword.

Elissa pointed at Lyon's falling body, "Well.....do you really want to leave someone in such position? Sure he was an asshole when I first met him, but.....I don't want my conscience to suffer because we left him behind."
Shifting the door open wider with her foot, Erika slipped out of the door, "Hey if you want to leave as soon as possible, come on." The gunslinger replied without turning back at Max.
"REFLECT," A sheet of light stood before curving into a dome, but the back was open, incomplete. It was wide enough to permit Max inside. Quickly tucking her pistols away, she gripped one of Lyon's hand, while the other fumbled in her fanny pack in search for her teleporting orb.
"Come on Max. Get his sword." Her hand wiggled out of the pack revealing the glow of the orb. "Close the door for the brooms can be safe."
Jawn was still fighting these heartless in maneuvers with almost unbreakable consentration. He had used strange moves for the first time, and moves he had used multiple times. trying kknew things he was also using the art of passive fighting, dodging attacks and making them hit the other. But he was attacking at the same time, making one big movement seeming as if it was all planned for a dance or something.
He overheard and saw what was going on with Lyon annd then yelled loud enough for them to hear.
"If you really don't want him to be with you guys I'll take care of him, leave him here and I'll take him. I'm not that cruel. I have a conciounse to ya know"
As a matter of fact it was his conciounce that motivated him. And he was using as much motivation as he could get at the moment. He didn't know if he could handle protecting Lyon, but he would never pass off an opportunity to lessen someone elses load. It's just the kind of person he was.
Max just stood there, watching everyone for a few moments, then let out a sigh. He adjusted his grip on his pike and walked up to the edge of Erika's defensive spell and said to her,"let me through. You're right. No decent man can just leave another to his death. You take care of Lyon, and I'll go help keep Jawn from getting cut to pieces by the invisibles"
He turned and looked at her and then slipped out of the shield, water streaming through the tiniest cracks between the shield and doorframe to the library from the brooms' buckets.
Max came up next to Jawn, gathering the water in a tight, compressed mass, he sent it careening into the heartlessa forcefully, knocking them back at least ten feet, giving him just enough time to regather the water and erect smaller defenses to help keep him alive.
He turned to Jawn and flashed a small grin.
"Forget is leaving him here with you," he said,"we did that and you'd both be dead. No, nobody's losing their hearts this day, I can assure you of that."
That was when Max noticed a small shimmer in the corner behind the heartless. It was there for a moment and then was gone, nothing but castle wall left in its place.
A grin spread across his face.
"Well, whaddya say? Shall we take the fight to them?" Max said to Jawn, grinning.

While Lyon externally was unaware of everything going on around him a struggle was going on in his mind.
*Mindscape*
The sound of metal rang through his mind. One black sword one silver one. They met again but were left in a dead lock. The man holding the silver one was Lyon, the other looked exactly like him but had an insane smile on his face. "You realize that you could've stayed in the fray, you just needed to give control over to me!"
The clone knocked his sword away and stabbed through Lyon's left shoulder. He grunted from the pain but followed up but the clone easily deflected the strike. "You know what your problem is, you're weak! Can't even stand up to your own self!" The clone slashed down his chest drawing blood but the wound wasn't deep. Lyon hissed once before spinning to gain momentum intent on cutting off the clone's head.
The clone smirked before ducking and stabbing right through Lyon's gut. He couldn't speak, he dropped his sword. The smile on his face changed to a look of apathy. "As long as you hold onto those human emotions" he leaned in next to his ear once standing up and letting go of his sword. "you will never defeat me. He said this and pulled the black sword out. Blood gushed out, he fell down.
"Don't worry about your body, just sleep, I'll take good care of it" Said the look alike as he walked away.
*exit mindscape*
Lyon's body started to convulse and an evil aura started to leak out of him. His hand slipped out of the girls grip. He stood up, gripped his sword. In an instant the blade turned black. He raised his head up and laughed, it was time, to let the blood spill.

Seeing Max going out to aid Jawn, the teleporting orb was placed back in the pack before being zipped shut; her other hand was still hold Lyon. Taking the safety off a single pistol, Erika was about to take out the heartless from a far, while making sure the protective dome remain around her and Lyon. Ready to take aim, she felt a chill run up her spin as Lyon's hand slipped away from her grip.
The laughter made her attention snapped directly on him, and her brows narrowed at where all th evidence pointed to; it was almost like that moment in that strange stoned world she was in. Waving her hand, the reflect barrier shrank being a divider between her and this corrupted. He allowed the shadow in his heart to grow and take over.
"Um you guys, I think we have a bigger problem." If she remembered correctly, this Lyon hardly had care of morals as he absorbs himself in a attacking frenzy. Seeing how he can be a threat but wanting to help him, Erika didn't want to shoot him down with actual bullets, no lethal shots. Wounding him would slow his actions down, but it may possible take light energy to bring Lyon back.
Unfortunately, she doesn't know if she was the only one who could manipulate light. The light guages would drain with each attack, which would induce him with light poisoning. In the end, they are faced with a double speared staff; either they would attack him, which would lead to injuries or death, or light can be used, which have a side effect of its on.
Why now must she be faced with a difficult decision? Pulling the trigger, white orbs rang from Eleanor, Battle Cry. All of them directed at Lyon to push back the immense darkness that was within him.
Jawn smiled at what Max had said. This was ussually something big for most people Jawn ran into. Finally he had met someone who had the same taste in fighting he did. No over reacting to it or anything. He nodded as a mark of saying to go after them but than he heard something strange behind them. He sniffed the air and could smell a very very strong darkness. What he feared might happen just did.
He turned around to check and be sure. Shivers running down his back from the darkness he saw it. The sword was black, marking that Lyon had changed.
"You go on ahead, I got some business to handle here"
He said as he put away his swords and pulled out his staff. He was so mucch better in fast movements with this. And in this kind of fight he'd need fast movements. Giving Max a respectful nod saying to leave and go after the heartless. Jawn walked away without a word. It wasn't that far so he didn't feel the need to walk. He saw Erika make a shot and he was recalled to the time in Radiant Garden.
"Don't you remember, those things don't work on him when he's like this"
Said Jawn standing there staff in hand. Erika was protected by her sheild so he knew Lyon wouldn't go for her. If he waited for Lyon he was bound to come. Jawn was going to fight him, not kill him, but fight him. Hopefully not even injure him, just fight him long enough to bring the regular Lyon back.
"What the-," Max muttered hearing laughing from behind them, turning to see what was going on. There he saw Lyon, his sword now black, standing there near Erika, who was during off bullets of light at him.
He looked over at Jawn, who told him to go ahead and handle the heartless.
"Right," Max said, gedying his warpike in both hands,"take care of him. Soon as I'm through with them, I'll help you put if its needed."
Max turned back to the heartless, the ones who had escaped Lyon's attack coming for him now, having regrouped.
"Come on..........come to meet your maker," Max muttered to the black things as they closed on him. As the gap began to close, he crouched, coiling his body like a spring and gathered water underneath his feet, and just as a group of invisibles came near, he jumped up, using the water to propel himself through the air like a rocket toward the heartless, slamming into one, his warpike going forcefully through the bottom of its head, turning it to black mist.
Max rolled as he landed, using another blast of water to knock a couple of darkballs away from him.
He quickly swung up to his feet, bringing his pike around in a wide arc, slashing across two heartless, chests, pushing them back, stabbing out at a flying soldier, catching it in its wing. He quickly took the opportunity to ground it, ripping its wing off with his pike and then stabbing it through the head as it writhed in pain on the ground.

Lyon quit laughing when the girl started to shoot him with orbs of light. Annoyances, like little needles poking into your body. He raised his sword and sliced down but was stopped by a barrier. He growled and started trying to slice the barrier but it was no used. He turned to the other one, he had drawn a staff. Seeing he was waiting Lyon dashed forward, faster than he was normally he swung the blade down intent on slicing his head open.

Erika looked at Jawn,"Light always have an affect on darkness, since they are compliments. Darkness never have immunity against light and vice versa; it's not in its nature and would go against nature."
Plus, if I use holy, who knows what may happen to Lyon. Light straight from my own heart and my world's hearts may cause more damage than what's needed.
The shiled blocked Lyon's attacks as the sword was stop by the light barrier. Once he turned his back to her. She made two shots. Two meteroid shots were aimed at the rear. People can survive from being shot..in the ass right? Naturally they will puncture in the body before combusting light.
This fight meant far more to Jawn then just saving Lyon. Last time he met with this form of Lyon he was beaten easily. It was an unfair match really, he was exaughsted from fighting regular Lyon and the new one came refreshed and powerful. Now Jawn was going to win. He could stand to have someone else help him. This wasn't about saving Lyon at all, this was about his own pride. He knew that if he lost again he would never be able to forgive himself, but he also knew that he wouldn't have that empty feeling of no power if he wins because someone else helped him.
He had got to thinking about this when he saw the beast attack him. Jawn swung his staff into the air and grabbed onto it where it was blocking his head. Right as the sword was coming down he snapped it and the chain appeared in the middle. The chain blocked the sword due to the metal and Jawn didn't want his staff to be cut in half. As the chain caught the sword, almost instantaniously he swung the nunchuucks to the side. With the force if the sword didn't bounce out right away it would've flown to the side as the nunchucks spun.
It was a risky plan, because if Lyon WAS fast enough to pull it out in time Jawn would be left wide open. Let's just hope he wasn't.
As Jawn was doing this he noticed Erika kept shooting. He knew that it would help and he didn't want that. He had to take down this beast on his own. His pride demanded it. He gave Erika a quick look as if to tell her to stop shooting. If she knew anything about regaining pride she would understand this. It was a stupid and petty reason, but it was a good reason to Jawn.
As Max finished off the Flying Soldier, he felt a searing pain split through his left shoulder, and he let out a scream of pain as he felt blood begin running down his arm, which had gone limp at his side.
He quickly whirled around, the movement forcing an Invisible's sword out of his shoulder at the exact spot he'd been injured in before, straight through the large, jagged scar.
He quickly gathered water on the wound, compressing it around it and sealing off the bleeding as he stabbed out at the Invisible, which had been caught off-guard by him whirling around with its sword still in his shoulder, stabbing it through the face with his pike.
Then he started backing up, putting distance between himself and the heartless, which were unfortunately between him and Jawn, Erika, and Lyon, cutting him off from any help.

Lyon hissed as the two shots hit him and burst within his body. Those ones actually burned. He had more important matters. He quickly brought his sheath up and blocked the strike. "Do not think me to be the same as that weakling." He jumped back and sheathed his sword. He set it against his hip leaving both hands open before rushing foward and aimed a punch with the impact force of a hammer at his gut. While preparing his other hand charging it with dark energy.

Erika exhaled heavily reading Jawn's face. No the sense of pride he was looking for wasn't understandable; vengance is what Erika is familiar with because she had spent two years training, while craving for it. Getting up, she side stepped away from InsaneLyon and Jawn. If Jawn wanted a solo, then so be it, but once his arse got kicked around immensely, Erika wouldn't mind pulling a trigger.
Being concentrated on Lyon, she had lost sight of Max, but moving away from the pair before her she was able to spot a flying black figure. Any creeping black creature that levitated with illuminous yellow eyes was a heartless in Erika's book, and seeing Max back away from it was enough evidence that it was. Concentrating on the head, she shot another Meteroid Bullet. Light combusted again.
