In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Lakuri knew that what they were saying about her needing to be stronger was right, but she did also have the feeling that she was underestimated. Which among normal people, was her plan... it was far easier to escape from people who under esimate her strength. but around these three, she sort of felt like she needed to prove herself, but she wasn't about to do that.
"Talents? hhmm.." she started. "Well, I've got two i guess, one good, the other... not so good." "One, I enjoy singing, and I've done it at the proffesional level before. and Two... I'm a good theif. Although I gave up the actual stealing peice, haveing the ability to do things without others noticeing really comes in handy somtimes."
"Singing and stealing? You have quite the diverse talents"
Then an idea crossed through her mind and picked from her backpack a fragment of ice elemental, an ice shard.
"Maybe you can steal those things from the heartless. Some heartless uses elemental shards as power sources for their elemental attacks. This ice shard is what a heartless left behind when my little Gustav Karl killed it"
It was strange, but sometimes heartless left behind fragments of elemental energy when defeated, and sometimes even left rarer objects like metals, usually found in armored heartless like the defenders.
"I think you could try to steal those elemental shards from the heartless to weaken them without the need of fighting against them."
A singer and a thief? What an odd combination. He raised a brow at the princess's stealing idea. "As funny as that would be to see, I'm pretty sure trying to sneak up on a Heartless is a bad idea." He then proceeded to prod the girl in question's gun with the butt of his polearm.
"What about that thing? Since you're a thief, if you improve your accuracy with it and combine it with magic, you could just shoot them at a distance," he reasoned, eying the gun critically. Still, it was a rather simple model. Even so, he had met his fair share of gunmen on his travels, several of whom had great skill that impressed even him.
"Wouldn't try that without someone watching though. Never know with might happen if you put too much magic in there." He really had no right to say that however; many of his experiments with magic were done unsupervised, and he had the burns to prove it.

Lakuri was very interested in Anya's idea of stealing the shards from the heartless, but what would she do with it? Li,e she had any idea what to do with a emelental shard.
"As funny as that would be to see, I'm pretty sure trying to sneak up on a Heartless is a bad idea."
Lakuri couldn't help but laugh at that, " I guess that does sound like a bad idea huh, especially cause i can't beat them."
"Well, I am pretty good with the gun already, but I guess you can always learn.... but.. as for the magic, I don't really think mine will help, because the only magic I know of that I have is healing magic.. ssooo. I don't think that would do me very good."
"Wouldn't try that without someone watching though. Never know with might happen if you put too much magic in there."
Lakuri paused a minute after hearing that peice, then she realized that she had been here for a while and should be really be going back, after all she did say a couple hours...
" I'm sorry everyone, but Cyrus just made me remember that I really need to get going! I promised the person I'm usually with that Id only be gone a couple hours and its been a while now since I left!" She stood up then looked at each person
" Thank you all for helping me, and sorry to just sort of run out like this, but I promised! So.. I guess I'll see you around!" and with that she walked over to the door turned around. " Good bye everyone!" She said with a smile on her face, and then walked out the door.

"Isn't she quite the busy body...," Jadis watched the girl leave. "Also I doubt it would be so wise for her to try to sneak up on heartless. They are individuals simple down to their instincts; I'm sure they would be quite aware of a nearby heart."
"Also, I'm sure she will have more confident if she knew she can secure the situation if it would notice her. No matter, it is what it is, and who knows where her decision will lead when drunk with young love."
The Empress hummed lowly, "Quite a dangerous, yet powerful thing, love. It can strengthen, yet blind, and many can't tell where it's leaning when it's really necessary. Let's leave her a blessing of good fortune...the worlds aren't kind these days."
"I don't think all of them are fast enough to react. I saw fat ones that had really exposed backs and got easily distracted by anything and others that were fast but could be deceived as well"
Those of the fat heartless type were the easier kind of heartless to deceive, and even small ones like those little elemental magic users could be fooled into being smacked with things made to kill.
"I think all depends of the heartless type just like how not all the monsters behave the same way. I've been trying to get a photo of all of them to scan their status and know how to deal with them"
Actually, other than the photos of Alena and Jadis, she didn't have any heartless photo with her. She must have the worst luck in the world because since she arrived to Traverse Town she didn't find a single heartless.
"But I have no photos of heartless native from Traverse Town. I think I'm jinxed because I've been here for days and I haven't found a single one"
She saw the hesitating girl of name Lakuria leave and wondered what kind of adventures she'll have and if she would someday find her special gift.
"Bye bye Lady Lakuria, be careful!"
She and her pet robot waved their hands at Lakuria. Hopefully this wouldn't be the last time they saw each other.
Cyrus watched as the odd girl walked out, when he was suddenly reminded of something. "Hey... wasn't that girl lost? Ah well." He shrugged his shoulders, before tuning back into the current conversation.
"I think all depends of the heartless type just like how not all the monsters behave the same way. I've been trying to get a photo of all of them to scan their status and know how to deal with them"
That actually sounded rather interesting; true, by now he knew most of the types of Heartless that roamed the streets by experience, information was always appreciated. "Well, if you're looking for Heartless, the third district usually has plenty roaming around it. I wouldn't suggest it though; one time I was there, this giant Heartless showed up. It took me and two others to bring it down. Looked like a giant armor."
He turned to the Ice Witch. "Anyways, what kind of training are you planning to do?"

"Hm that one again, I will let you know that you haven't defeated that heartless complete. It will regenerate itself soon, since you've only managed to weaken it. As for training, I can aid advancing others swordsmanship. I've been around for quite some time, so I should be familiar with diverse weaponry to assist to bring out the strength of orthers."
"Those who wish to learn magic correctly can come to me as well. Previously a wizard had to swiftly link a magic boon to another for importances, but we both agree that magic should be taught and disciplined accordingly, except the shortcuts. Shortcuts limits one greatly to mere encantations."
Jadis replied showing example of the door simply closing on its own. "Many will have to utter to summon magic, which can easily be stopped by the Silence Spell, which will mute one from uttering magical encantations."
"The third district? I'll check it again, it seems like everytime I go there, somebody already wiped out the heartless. Either there's some very dedicated heroes or the heartless avoid me"
She listened carefully lady Jadis's speech about magic and not she could improve both it and swordsmanship. However, neither of them were suitable for a princess more versed in the arts of machinery.
"I think I'll pass, I don't use swords and magical studies would distract me from my technology studies, both of them taking a long time to learn"
She picked some of her tools from her backpack and showed them at the people near her.
"But I'm not defenseless. This vacuum drains magical projectiles and can stock 1 kind of magic inside to be released anytime and my photo camera can capture the skills of other beings in a photo. My tools gives me protection against magic and my Gustav Karl protection against physical fighters."
Her style was more defensive than offensive, but that was all that she needed for her travels. Her journey was one to unify the various worlds via diplomacy and awareness about other worlds, not to engage into an endless fight against the world devourers.
"My goal isn't to fight heartless, I'm simply traveling to foster communication and friendships between worlds because who knows, someday one could discover a better way to deal with the heartless and tell the others about that or request help in times of crisis. And I get to know various new places"
Eh? It regenerates? How annoying. He considered the woman's offering to teach. While he doubted one called the Ice Witch would know much of the art of fire, elemental magic worked on the same basics, which meant what could be applied to one element, may be able to be applied to the others. Improving his skill with his weapon wouldn't hurt either.
His thoughts were interrupted with the princess rummaging through her bag, showing off more of her gadgets.
She's way too reliant on those things... Cyrus thought exasperatedly as the girl began waving around her various tools. Still, he made no comment towards it, deciding that they had already gone through that conversation, and bringing it back up would only be more headaches.

And I get to know various new places"
It was a noble goal, which made his respect for the girl rise slightly, but there was one large problem with it. "Ya know, that's a great idea and all, but did you stop to think about how many people are actually going to listen to a teenaged girl? Even if you are a princess."

"I doubt in dire times like these would they be picky on who may be considered a messenger of connections to a helping hand. I don't think the worlds are in the condition to be judgemental on age. There are enough children roaming about, who doesn't even have a responsibility to represent one's world." Jadis poured herself some more tea making it reheat by the touch of her hand, and steam came into view straight from the intricate thing mug.
"I think they are more concerned if she's in league with darkness or nothingness more than anything, but I guess that's where instincts and blind trust will lies." With a hum, she sipped feeling the warmth waver throughout her body.
"I'll try my best to help many worlds to develop into stronger ones."
An industrial revolution would help any backwards world to become advanced enough to fend off heartless by themselves she thought, after all in hers the might of their weapons and skill of their users proved to be really effective against the dark menace. That and the fact they were used to deal with otherworldly abominations.
"Anyway, I think I learned enough from lady Jadis so it's time to leave. Thanks for your time"
She packed all her things and made sure to write notes about the information gathered during this meeting, then she picked her robot and left, with the intention of checking the third district to find heartless and increase her collection of photo snaps.
"Huh, well, good luck, I suppose," Cyrus said as the princess got up to leave, before turning his attention back to his new 'mentor' of sorts. He still felt uneasy about the idea of letting a woman teach him, but there was no use in turning back.
He thought back to all the years spent perfecting his Fire, and yet he knew that there was still much to improve upon. His skills with a Polearm were likewise only advanced - nothing that could be called genius by any means.
Cupping his chin in thought, he began to wonder at what new techniques the woman would have to offer. It had been a long time since he had gotten official instruction. "So, when's the first training session?" He asked curiously, eager to start.
