In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Yeah. Zex, stop starting things like this, please, just as one member to another? Role is making suggestions. Now, she's seen things as working a certain way for (I assume) a while on other sites. This is what she knows to work, and therefore, when asked how we can improve, this is what she is going to suggest. It makes sense. Some of the ideas might even be adopted into our own style, after some work.
That's the issue, here, more than anything else I think. A difference in styles. Role has only stood out so much because she's A) vocal and B ) used to an entirely different style.
Of course, this is all speaking only for myself and from my point of view. Speculation, if you will. Take it as you will.
If we're quite finished, I'd like to answer the question.
We aren't differentiating between types of plot. There are not different types of plot. It is all equal. There isn't a line between character development and plot, and the most innocuous of things can have world-shaking effects.
This does put the onus on the player to keep track of what order things happen in. It can be a challenge, but it's certainly not impossible.
She is SIMPLY giving her opinion of how.to help the site! Is she trying to change the site? Yeah. But its not with malicious intent, and she's had to deal with JACKASSES like YOU since she got here, being attacked for just giving her opinion when members' opinions are asked for. So, lay OFF of her, pal, or I'll send a PM to Sephiroth to make SURE he sees that you're terrorizing a member with no real provocation. Role, you need to just start ignoring people like Zexion or else it'll turn into a flame war like this has. Just don't even pay attention to their posts. Ignore them COMPLEtELY.
Now, BOTH of you, cut this off NOW, or I'm going to make sure the staff knows about this, because they have asked REPEATEDLY for us to QUIT this.
Now, are both of you willing to be more mature about this and discuss this matter like MATURE people without attacking each other?
Staff? I was on staff. I'm just stating what others are afraid to say.

What others are afraid to say? Alright people, here's a good clue of what they might be afraid to say due to the big argument between Neko and Role.
Shut the hell up.
I am so SICK (+1 Caps lock bonus point) of all the site drama that's going on. 'Drama, drama, drama, we don't need it' yeah people, quit starting it. Everything that starts off with 'What can we do better?' ends up in, 'Just because you're more ___ doesn't give you the right to do ____'. I'm so glad we can honestly get through a thread without having someone bash another member. Guys, if you're sick of all the bashing, it's called a warning: Stop bashing members, this is your first warning. Second warning. Ban. We have them on the site for a reason, and I do not want to see this site get out of control.
People on the site gladly get together and take down one member, several examples stand out here. Oh yeah? I'll gladly take you all down by myself starting now. I thought this thread was about clarifying certain problems on the site, not how to create a war between members. If any of you have any common sense you'd stop right now, but right now I doubt that my words will have any effect now. For those people fighting this online war with each other, stop if you care about the friendship you're ruining with other people.
For those people staying out of this, thank you.
*Raises glass which with probably soon be shattered by some flying object*
Here's to my worthless try of getting through to you people.
No matter how much you bold or underline or use your cruise control for cool, your message isn't any more strong, nor is it ailing. It hides it.
See, Zexion has a point, sure, it's natural for us to pull the Chris Crocker and to leave the victim alone by bashing at the 'attacker'. Right now though, see eye-to-eye. Obviously there are flaws to this site, as there are with all, and so create suggestions. When this gets out of hand though is when we take our suggestions and turn them into more than simply that, but demands.
This is what seems to be the case. Will I tell Zexion to aim down at Role? No, she can do whatever she wants for what I care, maybe just make it more of a spoken word rather than a shout, but not much more to that. It takes abruptness for us to realize something is wrong.

Serif sets a good example. While what most of you said is fine and dandy, please stay on topic. Really. If you don't intend on doing that then gtfo this thread.
*just a smidge frustrated*
