In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Well there he was--vampire and all. Was he anything like she expected? Yes, just about. Red eyes stood out most to her, the brightness of them hurting her eyes. Then of course it was the fangs that her eyes were drawn to next, pearly white and sharp, it made her once again shudder. Next were the bite marks, his hair, and then his clothes. Yes, it was just like she expected, red and black, yet the only thing striking her as odd was the friendly smile on his face. There he was, sitting back in a chair looking as if he expected her to say, 'Cool!'. But honestly, this was anything but.
Given the mental state Sage was in, it was a miracle she managed to stammer out, "S-Scar-ry"" Yes, Sage Firefox, the bravest of the bravest foxes (or so she thought), just called a friend (or so she thought ) scary. Write that down.
The reason behind it was the fact that tiny vampire bats are not at all threatening or scary to her, yet vampires in human forms? Yeah, she didn't want to die, not yet. She still had to find at least one Firefox, and then when she did, she'd have a reason to live. So really, Sage couldn't die, not until she was certain that there wasn't another Firefox left. But until then, she would be standing on the gummi ship, shaking and frozen to the spot, wondering what the 'scary' vampire would do next.
Gazing down into the fear that filled Sage's eyes, Louis couldn't help but let out a good-humored laugh. "Mmmpf...mmpf...mpfWHAHAHAHAHA!" he laughed out, despite his attempts to muffle it. He could understand her fear, though it didn't hurt his feelings. It was to be expected. After all, it's not every day you meet someone like him.
Ruffling Sage's hair again, he chuckled once more, proceeding to tease her a bit, trying to let her know it was alright. "There now, what happened to the fearsome Firefox that I met before? Louis adjusted himself in his seat, getting himself a bit more comfortable. "But of course, it's to be expected. I cannot blame you for your reaction. Just remember that not all of us are as... thirsty, as we're made out to be." With another grin, he put out his hand for a shake. "Louis Lotus, in the flesh and at your service."

He thought that her fear was so funny. What a slap in the face to her. Seriously, his fangs were really intimidating! Again he ruffled her fur and she felt little tufts of it sticking up in odd places. As she shook her head she could hear him trying to fit a little humor into it--miniscule humor--and all she learned from that was that vampires did not make very good comedians.
Then he stuck out his hand to shake, and she looked blankly at it. Well, it wasn't doing any good to just sit there and not shake it, but honestly it wasn't going to work to shake that humongous hand with her tiny little paw. "One moment," she said as she began to get over her fear of the sharp fangs protruding from his mouth. With that said Sage shook her head free of the misplaced fur and shifted into her human form .
Her once brown fur was now gone--though she still had her jade green eyes--and instead of having brown hair (like one might think), she had black. This biggest difference, though, was that Sage was actually clothed, thus making an awkward conversation completely avoided. "So am I anything like you expected?" the Firefox asked with a sly smirk on her face as she slipped her hand in his and shook it gently.
His face went from a humorous grin to a warm-hearted smile. She was actually rather...cute, what with her nose, her lips, even her eyes. Especially her eyes.
"Nowhere close, my dear."
And with that, he rose up her hand to his lips and gave it a small kiss, proceeding to place it back upon the seat.
Looking out through the windshield, Louis got things moving along. "Alright, then! The destination is up to you, my friend. Where shall we be off to next?"

She was no longer afraid of him after he kissed her hand. Honestly, no one she had ever met had done that, so this was a surprise for her, one that didn't even make her think twice about him, he was definitely a good vampire.
Destination now...where to? Well, she didn't really know the names of all the places that she had been too, though she did know what they looked like. Looking back on them now there weren't really any she'd like to re-visit. Not many of them carried good memories to her mind. That spooky town where she changed looked was a big no, as was the place she met the Firefox. Finally she got it down to the beach one with the beautiful scenery that Sage had been wanting to go visit again for some while, or the place with Garden in its name.
Though instead of choosing one, she shrugged and told him, "I don't care, you can pick."
Well then, a choice had been offered. First off, he wasn't going to head off to another world that required transformation. Last time he went with that...well, the results were a matter of minutes ago.

Twilight Town...she had been there before. Yes, it was dreary and raining one time, and then there was another time, at night. Those were sort of good memories, Sage guessed she could go there. Then again, she did tell the vampire that it was his choice, and he did choose. There was no arguing with that.
"Sure, sounds good."
It couldn't hurt to give Twilight Town another try, after all, they had that nice little cafe right by the entrance that everyone seemed so cheery at. Even though she had never visited there, every time she walked by her stomach had always begged for her to stop by and give the food a try. What was with all the optimism? Is this how friends treated others? Apparently.

Keeping his mouth from opening due to a massive yawn, Louis plotted the location of Radiant Garden into the ships computer, turning on the autopilot and giving him a chance to rest.
"There we go, all set! He now turned to Sage. "Now then, my dearest Ms. Firefox, I certainly hope you'll excuse me while I catch up on some much needed rest. If anything happens, do not be restrained to wake me up."
Hardly even waiting for a response, he hopped over his seat and pulled out a sort of mattress from a pod in the wall. He laid himself upon it and the mattress retreated back into the pod. It was going to be a bit of time before they arrived at their destination...
((And now, feel free to create some spacey shenanigans or we can move straight along to Twilight Town. It's your call, chum ;D))

Great, so he was leaving the newbie alone to watch over the ship...and their lives. She had watched him plot in spots, watched him program the spots then into the map and turn it to autopilot, easy enough. So now would it be just as easy for her to go back to her old planet? To fly past and see if the Firefoxes or back? Did she even dare? Sage didn't exactly know if she wanted to find out how her planet looked like right now. And then there was the problem of her not even knowing the coordinates of her home planet. There had to be a book around the ship somewhere. Somewhere there had to be a map of all the planets and their coordinates, or at least the surviving planets, maybe Yorani would be in there? So many questions, she had to get searching now. As Louis disappeared to get some much needed rest, Sage began to dig around in random compartments looking for anything that looked promising.
(Erm yeah, make up whatever you want. ;D)

((Well, I sort of wanted them to head to Yorani, but I don't even think that's possible. Of course it would be taken over, but don't the worlds like disappear?))
((Indeed they do. If memory serves correctly, when a world has been consumed by darkness, it vanishes into the abyss, while the surviving bits of the world wind up into a mass collection of other bits of worlds that met the same fate, i.e. End of the World in KH1.))
Post by sagefirefox on Mar 7, 2009 13:08:17 GMT -4
((How long does it take for the world to disappear after being consumed? Because in Andres' history, it states that 3 days after the heartless took over, he wandered out and saw that all the Firefoxes were dead.))
((Once the heart of the world has been consumed, it's a matter of minutes before everything is in fragments, as seen with Destiny Islands in KH1.
As for Andres' history (please post that here if you could), I think we might've found an inaccuracy. I'm not sure. This might become a major topic of discussion...))
