In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

As Louis' faithful Gummi ship, the Nosferatu, took a landing into a shadowed alley, Louis yawned from his sleeping pod. Pushing a button to expose the pod to the interior of his ship, he hopped off the bed and perused the ship for his little foxy companion.

Sage was at the control panel, looking out the front window. She tried seeing through the shadows, but failed and turned as Louis came back. "We're here." she stated obviously as she pressed a button to open the door (one of the many things she studied how to do throughout the trip). As it opened, Sage stepped out of the gummi ship for the second time in her life, the first with another girl, one with a keyblade. She checked behind her to make sure he was coming, and smiled went she saw he didn't desert her yet.
As the ship's door opened, Louis swiftly covered himself up in his cloak as the Twilight sun flooded the cabin. He reached for a cabinet in the ship and grabbed a helmet and a pair of arm covers. He put these covering accessories on, shielding his skin from the burning star in the sky.
As he walked out of the ship, he nodded to Sage and caught up with her. Indicating around himself, he asked, "Well, where would you like to go first?"

((*Sighs* Yeah, I totally can't even keep away from the site for a week. Might be back on in like a couple days though, just for minor posting.))
She watched him grab armor and stuff, things that made her think about how noticed they were going to be in Twilight Town. As a person that really didn't like attention, this made her slightly uncomfortable. Then again, maybe this was what they wore around the town.
Where to? She of course didn't know. Sage would bet practically anything that he knew his ways around this place better than she knew her way around her home. Technically it was because she didn't have a home... but who was complaining? She merely shrugged and randomly began to walk in a random direction. "I usually just wander around without any destination and hope that wherever I am led to won't kill me."
Louis couldn't help but laugh with Sage's last statement. How ironic that such a phrase be said while he experienced the nostalgia of hiding, fleeing, staying alive upon this world. Either way, there were some things he had to come to terms with. Not that they weren't going to explore, rather, they would end up on a slight tour, subtly led by the vamp. If she wished to deviate from the course, then he wouldn't mind. He had all the time in the world and then some.
Though these thoughts ran through in a matter of a moment, Sage could never tell with Louis' visor on the helmet down. Adopting his casual, friendly tone, he stated, "Well then, let's try this way, shall we?"
Sage smiled at this and nodded in agreement. Her eyes slid closed as she waited for him to catch up and then opened to look around her. The alley split off into three different ways here, much like a 4-way intersection. Some ways ended in different spots, for example, the one they were headed to looked pretty promising, though you couldn't see too far.
You took maybe 10 or 12 steps before you had to turn again, though the one to the right of her went on for a while before you had to turn. What she knew was that one of them led to the main roads--think of it as a maze if you will--and they needed to find that one. Sage faintly wondered if Heartless could appear in this part of Twilight Town, if they did, would Louis be able to fend them off?
None of the choices gave off a weird feel, but then again she was never good with ESP, maybe because she just didn't have any like most animals did. For all she knew, they could be headed right into a bundle of Heartless rather than to the main roads and buildings of Twilight Town. Still she headed that way.
As Louis followed after Sage, he glanced around. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck begin to prick up. He stopped and quickly glanced around. A Dusk was going to make its landing...
"Sage, hold on."
The silvery Nobody had landed a bit in front of Sage. Louis ran forward and pointed his gauntlet-armed finger towards the creature. He fired off a steady laser stream from one finger, slicing the being with his red beam back and forth about 4 times until it dissipated.
As he brushed off his finger, Louis took a small breath. "Got it."

Oh good. As it turned out, Louis had a weapon on him, which turned out to be a laser, from just a single finger, she figured the rest could all do the same thing. Then again, she also figured that since it was the gauntlet that he also had other weapons with him. Sage, just had her lovely--and tiny--claws and her small teeth. What had just appeared in front of her wasn't a Heartless she noticed, there wasn't that black-and-red symbol on it but a whitish-grayish, upside-down heart-shaped symbol.
"Louis, what was that thing?"[/color] she asked nervously as she headed forward. Whatever it was, Louis could tell beforehand because he warned her to stop walking forward. Was it as dangerous as a Heartless or more dangerous she wondered. Maybe he did have some ESP about him, which made her laugh silently as she realized she wasn't exactly serious about that whole ESP part.
Was this world they had just landed in full of these oddly-composed creatures? Why had she agreed to arriving on such a world? From the gummi ship it didn't seem to occupied of a world so did that mean that everyone was gone and it was just these creatures that had been waiting for them? Sure there might be a couple people living here that knew how to fend off these creatures--like Louis--but why would anyone live here?
The firefox seemed surprised at the Nobody. She didn't seem to recognize it. Louis grinned a bit. He did enjoy utilizing his knowledge.
"That, my friend, was a Nobody, a Dusk type. A Nobody is what remains of the body when the heart has become a Heartless; If the brain bears a strong will, the flesh will live on without its heart, making it a Nobody. They are much more fluid in movement than their Heartless counterparts, and, if I do say so myself, make more formidable enemies. However, their numbers seem to be increasing as of late..."
He pondered this again, as he had done so before. The Heartless and Nobodies were rising in number, and, if history served as a decent marker, that couldn't lead to many things good. Either way, that was not the point of this visit. He re-focused and spoke once more.
"But no matter. It is rare that they show up in public; They normally show up in more secluded places, like the tunnels or dark alleyways. So long as we do not take too many back-alley shortcuts, we should be fine."

((Sorry for lateness... just need to find inspiration and the mood needed for this))
Sure he had the senses to detect Nobodies and Heartless but did he have the built-in compass to help navigate them out of here? Sage really wasn't comforted by the fact that their numbers had risen. In fact she was a little wary to wonder around without understanding just where they were going. She had run into a Heartless once or twice and gotten rid of them... with little injuries, but now that she heard Nobodies were better at fighting then the Heartless, she was rather worried that if they picked the wrong path that they just might not get out with the minor cuts and bruises. But Louis had easily taken out what with a laser so she felt that they were safer. She just had to make sure that they didn't get separated.
Sage's discomfort was evident. Louis stepped forward a bit and took a glance at her face.
Yes, definitely discomforted.
Looking her straight in the eyes now, Louis lowered himself down to her eye level, lifted up his visor, still blocking the sun, and said, firm in tone and assuring in face, "My friend, do not fret. I've lived here before, and this world's dangers are nothing new to me. I will protect us both, should I have to, and I swear upon my being that I shall keep us safe."
And with that, he stood up back to his full height, put the visor back down, and said in a good-mannered tone, "Come now, Sage, let us make our way to Sunset Terrace." He began to lead the way to the major plaza.
