In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jawn had set up for a battle at the Olympus Colliseum so he could get some practice in. He asked for a really advanced opponent because he wasn't playing around. When he went there they said they had a few advanced ones.
Jawn looked through the list and requested the one he thought looked the toughest. He had picked Cloud Strife.
Standing in the Colliseum Jawn, the challenger, had waited for Cloud, his next victim of battle. Knowing, since he picked an advanced person, that this battle wasn't going to be easy, he had already gotten out his two blades and were ready for a fight. Standing by waiting for Cloud to show up, Jawn was ready for action
( ooc: I have no problem with you modding the fight. )
Cloud was almost insulted when he was informed that his opponent was some new guy. He had never heard of him. In fact, he thought about rejecting the match. But the blond showed up, out of curiosity mainly; he just wanted to see who this man was and what made them think that they stood a chance against him.
Jawn didn't have to wait long for the sound of rythmic steps getting slightly louder as Cloud got closer. He made his way to the arena, walking calmly and looking completely unphased. Normally one would be nervous or excited about a battle, but not this time, Cloud was practically emotionless. He had a lot on his mind though. Maybe that's another reason why he turned up, to keep his mind off things.
"So you're my opponent, then? I hope you know how to use weapons..."
With that, Cloud reached over his shoulder and pulled his large sword up and over his shoulder. He allowed it drop to his side so that the blade laid to rest on the ground. Although, not in a fighting position, he appeared to be ready.
Jawn started laughing at the comment. It was just plain histerical someone questioning his use in weapons. After laughing for about five seconds he stopped laughing but looked to Cloud with a histerical smile on his face
"Oh no, of course I don't know how, this is my training"
He said sarcastically holding the two blades. After saying this comment he ran towards cloud in a direct assault. He kept his feet twitching and ready for anything as he charged, knowing what he is doing is completely reckless and one of the worst things you could possibly do
Well, he was certainly keen to jump into combat. Jawn ran straight for him. Cloud didn't move straight away, but quickly thought of possible attacks that his foe may be planning. Though, he got bored of thinking tactics in a second and took a blunt and simple approach.
As soon as Jawn was to get into range, Cloud planned to slash his sword from right to left with a mighty swing of his right arm. With the sheer size of his blade, there wasn't much chance that Jawn could get close enough to strike. But hey, maybe he would get lucky and somehow work his way past. And that's why Cloud chose to make this attack single-handed- leaving the other free for spell-casting if the need arose...
As the swing came at Jawn, he smirked. He jumped into the air and landed his feet on the side of the blade. As it waas being lost under his feet he jumped off right at Cloud aiming a strike for his right arm, thinking his left couldn't be as strong. Jawn had expected something to come so he had his other blade ready to block something since his enemy still had one free hand, but soon the enemy would only have one hand if things worked right.
As the incoming attack sped forward, Cloud leaned diagonally back and to the left so that Jawn's blade simply flew past him without making contact. By which time the First Tsuguri, the blond's massive sword, had fully completed it's first swing and was coming straight back for another. This time though, Cloud pulled it back across in the opposite direction and diagonally for his foe's stomach. That way Jawn couldn't land on it again. And, since he was mid-air, evasion would be impossible. Defense was a possibility, but even that would knock him back away from Cloud for a little space.
It was amazing to see how quick and effortlessly he could swing that huge piece of metal. The sword was literally massive - a normal human would struggle to wield it with two hands, but not Cloud; he was swinging it around like a longsword. And that was what made him such a strong opponent. He had both shocking speed and outrageous strength.

Jawn was simply amazed at how simple Cloud could dodge his attacks and attack back. He acted like they were nothing and that sword was a peice of paper. He chose a good opponent to fight today.
He had no time to think and admire his opponent, he had to react quickly. He stabbed his other blade into the ground and swung around it on the handle with another launch directed right at cloud. But instead he used his staff and aimed a swing at his right hand again.
The momentum of the swing in such a huge sword would easily make a fast attack like this undodgeable in the hand for most any opponent. Jawn thought that hittig him in the wrist with his staff would easily get that sword out of his hand, but just in case...
Right as he was coming down on the wrist it snapped into nunchucks to strengthen the force on the end and if Cloud hadn't done anything about it probably break his wrist.
( ooc: Seed, thank you for taking the time to mod our fight and clear our posts. However, I don't want to sound rude, but can you please keep your demeaning comments to yourself. )
It was fair to say that this Jawn guy was pretty quick, and acrobatic. He managed to managed to twizzle round on his sword and lunge at Cloud once more. But the spiky-haired combatant was going to make sure this was the last time he did so.
Cloud didn't much appreciate Jawn's attempt at disabling his right hand. And he wasn't going to allow that either. His attack was too obvious, granted the nunchuck twist on the staff wasn't expected, yet it made no difference to Cloud's reaction. He quickly pulled his right hand away, releasing his grip on his weapon for two reasons; it would just slow his reaction time down with the weight and so that it was left behind for the counter-attack...
After moving his right hand away, Cloud immediately brought his left across and caught it after dropping no more than an inch or two. Perhaps Jawn would change tactics when he saw that Cloud could wield his massive sword in both hands. With a flick of his wrist, the blond twisted the blade round and pulled it up for an uppercut-like attack.
Cloud then suddenly hopped back, regardless of the result of the previous attack, and forced his palm forward. Sparks surrounded it a split second before a bolt of thick blue lightning shot from within. The electrcity cracked through the air aimed for Jawn's chest. It was a low-level spell, Bolt, or better known in these worlds as 'thunder', yet it would leave a nasty sting if Cloud's foe were to be struck. He was quick. But could he dodge lightning...?
