In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Pain nervously backed away from Riku. Jeez, this kid seems more stiff than Hades, Lord of the Dead himself! "Hey .... I-I-I just wo-work here!" the small imp stuttered from his wide mouth. He decided to stay AWAY from that silver-haired kid. No need to hang out with people who act dead already when they're alive. Riku walked over to an emptied spot of the room. "Ju-just sit back 'n' have some fu-fun, awright?" Pain tried nervously to hide behind Hades, but then realized how scarier the Death god was. So the small imp merely stood still, his back stiffened up.
"WELL AREN'T WE ALL HAVING FUN!!"
"Waah!" Pain jumped back, well actually, LEAPed back was more like it, from the sarcastic yell. He then transformed himself into a giant, purple clam. Another spooky chump in here! The imp--er, "clam"--opened up his shell, revealing Pain to be a fattened mollusc inside. Stretching out two gaunt arms, the clam was looking through the paper on his clipboard ..... Oh! THAT'S the problem! This guy .... er, "Seed" didn't get to fight. Pain quickly morphed back into original imp form. Sheesh, this room was full of freaks!

Elaeus looked at Braig, who was sitting away after returning from his match, then back at Relena. Looking over to the chart, he saw Relena's name being crossed out; she had lose the match to Braig. A soft smile crept over his face; Braig kept to his word, and both of them were still standing.
"Thank goodness you two are still standing," the Earth Titan spoke lowly so only Relena could hear him. "There's already one dead."
Four Dark XII participants, Two Organization members, Four Keyblade Wielders,...
While he thought to himself, Elaeus watched the room becoming more full by the moment. It was becoming too crowded for his liking, but unfortunately there wasn't a large range of areas to run off to except to his next round.
Hearing Riku's name, Elaeus took a close look at the child. So this is who Ansem laid dormant in. He wondered if the keyblade wielder even knew that the Seeker of Darkness still lingers, even if a portion existed within him. Seeing him reminded the Earth Titan of a mission in thinking. He decided he would watch the match closely just in case it would be benefitial for future references. Even during a tournament, the Earth Titan was thinking, planning, and plotting.
Glancing around he caught a familiar face, it was the same pyromaniac girl he had toyed with. He only remembered her by her face and the weapon he stole from her. It was so long ago that he barely remembered the name she had given it. Dragon was the only word to come in mind. What a surprise? A keyblade as chosen her as well. Elaeus wondered if he would battle. Hopefully not, she doesn't need to match a face and name to his attacks from their last encounter. He doubted she would remember him; he hardly remembered her.
It seemed that the pyro child had battled against the boy who ran into him in the Caribbeans, where he sent his Gaia in search for the world's heart. He had thrown the boy into the realm of darkness. Perhaps fate wasn't through with him because he survived. It also chosen him to live through the tournament. Funny how he was seeing others he have encountered.

Elaeus seemed rather pleased that Braig won and Relena couldn't argue. What guy was going to root for a girl when everyone else was supporting the male fighter? At least she wasn't paired up with Elaeus, her pride wouldn't be as damaged when she lost, but she knew she would probably get hurt a lot worse fighting Elaeus. Lightning didn't effect earth at all where as earth effected lightning. Well, at least she had her spheres. Good thing though he didn't just stop at smiling after seeing Braig had won. He quietly added to her how he was glad that both of them were still alive. Of course her and Braig would be. They weren't exactly allowed to kill each other--this rule being directed more at Braig than her--so here they both were, alive.
"Actually Elaeus, two have died so far, and if things go on like this, I'm sure at least one more will die." Unlike Elaeus, she wasn't as quiet when talking to him, and made note that if Seed were to ask what they were talking about she would zap him. This sucked though, the fact that she would have to sit and watch every round on the televisions set up in this waiting room instead of partaking in the actual events themselves. Sure she might have hated fighting, but at the end of the tunnel was a light... well, a prize. Light was a bit of a bad word choice for someone like Relena. Anyways, she might have not minded getting to pick any sort of thing she wanted to receive after winning the tournament. Sadly, it ended with her being defeated by a person in the Dark XII.
"Standing, by a hair...wish I brought some spare C-milk though dude..stuff does wonders."
Braig stood to his feet, groaning quietly to himself. Healing was going as fast is it could, energy was all well and replenishing, however the pain still stood. He walked over to Elaeus and Relena, seeming a bit tiresome. He was more awake in the fights, there was excitement there. Here...it was just waiting.
Looking throughout the room, over to Seed, Braig gave a small smirk. "That little bro likes to cause trouble.." he thought to himself. He nodded, acknowledging Seed, before turning back to Relena and Elaeus.
"It was a good fight dudette, to be honest, I was getting desperate..." directed at Relena of course. He lifted his arm up to show the already scarring flesh, before turning more towards Elaeus, a stern and serious look on his face. "Five, bro..You better make it to the Final match. One of us has to win this thing, for the Dark XII. Consider it an order from the Second in command; Reach the Final match."
He had his reasons for telling Elaeus to reach the final match...he wasn't quite sure he would be able to make it any further, if at all. Otherwise, he wouldn't have said this, as he would be certain to make it. An uncertain Braig, is a worried Braig, and knowing him...a worried Braig, is not a good Braig.
Braig looked over at the Imp creature who had previously become a Mollusk. He seemed to be the person to go to, in order to get things. One of Hades' little lackeys. Braig strode over, and tapped the Imp on his shoulder. "Yo, little red dude. Got any Coconut Milk, or any good beverations in this place?" Hopefully Pain would be able to look past the speech styles of Braig, and know what Beverations were...
Pain was busying himself with the paper on his clipboard. Okay ..... so the people who died in this tournament are moved to the Underworld ... bla bla bla .... subtract that, add that ... bla bla bla ... Look over brackets, check second round .... That's when the little imp felt something tapping on his shoulder. "Who da what now?"
"Yo, little red dude. Got any Coconut Milk, or any good beverations in this place?"
Pain thought it over for a moment ..... beverations .... beverations ..... What the heck does that mean? Coconut milk hints at being a drink. Well, personally, Pain didn't care. "Listen here, "dude", if yer thirsty, go take a sip out of our Pool of Forgetfulness." The imp sarcastically cracked. He personally didn't want to waste his time brining in refreshments for the contestants. That was a type of job that Pain's blue imp chum, Panic, was more into. Although, it really would've been interesting to see everyone in the tournament actually drink from the Pool of Forgetfulness ....

"Two have died. Luckily, it's not you two." Truthfully, Elaeus wouldn't admire loosing twelve and two. It would just be too awkward without them. Sure Relena could be a nuisance at time, and he can be a nuisance to her, but he became too acquainted with it that it seemed to be a natural routine. Braig has been around the Earth Titan for too long. Years before he became a Heartless and before the appearance of Xehanort.
Hearing his number, Elaeus turned towards Braig with a soft hum. Seeing his face took Elaeus by surprise. Even his tone was different than usual. You better make it to the Final match.
His words were like a stone, which caused a ripple of shock in the Earth Titan. "One of us has to win this thing, for the Dark XII. Consider it an order from the Second in command; Reach the Final match."
a-an order.... It has been years since Elaeus was given a specific order. Sure Ansem have given him tasks to continue that initially sprouted from the Earth Titan's mind, but not as direct as Braig.
Elaeus nodded not questioning him. If Braig had dropped his normality to be as stern and serious, then it was for a reason, a reason Elaeus saw important without even knowing. His eyes softened momentarily; the Righteous Archer was concerning him. The only who he allowed to see that was Relena before it hardened like his diamonds.
Hearing panic, the Earth Titan snorted before growling at the imp. How dare it suggest to a drink of water that origined from the River of Lethe.

It seemed she was getting to see a side of the Dark XII that she hadn't been able to see whenever they were 'at home' and being 'normal'. "It was a good fight dudette, to be honest, I was getting desperate..." It was nicely noted by Relena that Braig was trying his best to compliment her, but she also noted that Braig was number two for a reason and she doubted that she could give Braig a run for his money. Though she badly wanted to give a witty comment to him, the words spoken by him next stopped her in her tracks. "You better make it to the Final match." Well now, Braig was concerned for Elaeus? This was a big shock, especially since now Braig was actually cheering for his other team members, rather than... shooting arrows at them. The corners of her lips which had pulled tight from hearing Braig command Elaeus to win went slack as she turned to see Elaeus' expression.
What was it with Dark XII members in this tournament?! She caught Elaeus' giving a rather peaceful look and saw, for once, a rather soft look appear in his eyes instead of the normal tough look that he always carried around. Relena knew that if someone started crying from all the mushy stuff, she would portal back home and ask Even if he knew anything about the Underdrome having a mood-altering atmosphere. Oh wait, Even wasn't at the castle, he was competing in this competition as well. She frowned as she heard a rather pudgy imp say something rather rude to Braig. Now she knew who to take her extra electricity out. She smirked as Elaeus growled at the imp and she flicked her pointer finger out and sent a zap to the creature. "Be careful," she warned as she grinned, "because I really doubt that you can take all three of us on... not to mention just one."

Walking into this 'waiting' room (seemed more like a holding room to him), Kian looked around. It was... basic, better than most of the other places he'd seen while adventuring around here. Making his way over, he noticed a familiar face to his left.
All the way out here, huh?
Giving her a friendly nudge, he smiled to the short, black haired girl, "Long time no see." he paused to give a light laugh, "In better condition than the last time we ran into each other."
It was the truth on her part at least... she was definitely in a nick of trouble way back when, but he, well, he was different. Right now his back killed, but would he show it? God no... it'd heal up before the next mash, it was all smooth sailing from here.
"Yeeowch!" An electric zap was the response Pain had recieved. The little imp took a few steps back, nervously laughing. Sheesh, what a bunch of stiffs. Pain and Panic both didn't have much luck. If Hades isn't angrily flaming them, someone ELSE was. "Now-Now hold on he-here! Can't ya'll jus' ta-ta-take a joke?!" The imp scratched the back of his head with one hand, and tightly held onto his spindly tail with other hand.
He quickly zoomed out of the dark room, realizing the vast number of combatants. Just seconds later, Pain zoomed back into the room, only this time, he brought in a cart full of refreshing drinks. The cart was dark and pointy, matching the Underworld's walls, while the drinks were a neon green color. He himself didn't know f the drinks were safe, but they can't be THAT bad. "Free refreshments! Um .... FREE refreshments! Remember! They're FREE!! FREEE! Don't kill me!" The imp speedily abandoned the cart and ran over to a corner of the room.

Feeling a nudge, Ikari looked up and saw a familiar face. Those same blue eyes, the same blond hair.
It couldn't have been....
But he had said when they had me that he didn't like fighting.... Why the hell was he here if if didn't?
"Long time no see." he laughed lightly, "In better condition than the last time we ran into each other."
Ikari gave a shrug of her shoulders, the nick in her shoulder from the boulder smarting sharply and causing her to wince somewhat. Shaking her head somewhat and blocking out the pain, she averted her unnatural green gaze to Kian and gave a response, "yeah... can say that again. However..." she arched a brow and continued, "what are you doing here, huh? Thought you weren't all for fighting. But judging on your appearance..." Ikari straightened up and patted Kian rather firmly on the back, "ya look like you fared well..."

Braig strode, with ease to the Cart, and picked up one of the neon green beverages. Well, Hades wouldn't let the competitors drink something that would remove them from his Tournament, would he? He would lose the entertainment then...but just to be sure..He summoned up one solitary arrow, and dipped the tip into the Drink, shooting his own energies throughout it, to purify it..just in case. Braig dismissed the arrow, by means of throwing it off to the side, and into a wall, where it would quickly degenerate.
He raised the drink up, almost like a toast, and then tilted it into his mouth, letting the liquid slide down his throat..it didn't taste wonderful, but it did happen to quench his thirst. He discarded the empty container, and returned to Relena and Elaeus, to simply hold up a finger, signifying he would be back in a moment. He began walking in the direction of Seed, while summoning another arrow, twirling it around his fingers.
"Yo, Seed Dude, good to see you're here. Too bad about your first match huh?"

"Rubix, this is Maverick. Maverick, this is Rubix." Mikael said. Rubix simply nodded at Maverick, he didn't want to put out his gashed out hands for him to shake, it would be a very awkward situation. "So how did it go with her? And I have absolutely no idea. I could guess we are still at the Underworld" Mikael continued.
"Well," Rubix shrugged, "She's a girl, what can you expect right?" he chuckled. "I really want to leave here...I just want to take a----" Suddenly Rubix was teleported out of the room.
Rook stalked into the waiting room, vest in hand, and lightly bandaged. The redhead was furious at not being able to advance further in the normal bracket. But at least he was able to keep his promise of taking Lexaeus down with him.
Letting out a growl he sat down at a table and pulled out his cards, dealing himself a game of solitaire to pass the time, regardless of the fact that someone else in the room had one of his cards. The redhead would play around that roadblock. Black six on black eight, should he come to it.
But at least she was busy with other people at the moment...
"Mira, I can´t believe you are here! How did you survive? Where have you been?" Mikael had many questions to ask his best friend, and she had many answers to give him. "Well, she's a girl, what can you expect right?" Rubix chuckled. The fire user stopped hugging the nobody to reply. "Well, I have to admit that she isn´t half bad." he said before chuckling.
"I really want to leave here...I just want to take a----" And before he could end the sentence, Rubix was teleported out of the room. All the televisions at the room showed the... LOSER BRACKETS?! A voice came out of the gadgets and started to say the matches before the fighters poofed. "The Loser Brackets: Lexaeus vs. Rubix, Mikael vs. Zedd... ------------------------------------------------ Mira smiled; she did not want him to know about her current... condition now. "Woah, slow down! Well, I have survived by eating and drinking and sleeping. I have been traveling around the worlds searching for m- for you! Yes, for you!" Suddenly, one of the guys that Mikael was talking to disappeared. Suddenly, the TV started to say the brackets. As soon as she realized who was Mikael´s opponent, Mira started talking again.
"Listen Mikael! The guy you are facing is a strong magic user. Be careful," Suddenly, the fire user was fading into the teleporting light. "But don´t underestimate him! He can change his staff into a-" And he was gone. The TV continued announcing the brackets. "Rook vs. Gilgamash, and Mira vs. Relena" The time user was fading away into the stadium before she could react and look for this Relena.
A slight shrug was what he gave which was soon accompanied with, "Hey, it's not actual fighting, it's competing -- nothing wrong with that!"
It was true, everyone in this knew what they were getting themselves into, a competition that had a few bruises, cuts and whatnot involved. There weren't any lives lost, heck, the moderators would do something about that if there were... right? Of course! It wasn't like real fighting where you put your own lives on the line, actually meaning the actions that you're taking to someone else, hoping to end their life or at least make it a more painful one.
That was the kind of fighting Kian couldn't handle. This... this was fine.
Ikari brought her hand out, leaving the ice-user to ponder just what she was gesturing towards. However, soon enough he figured out, and by then, it was too late. As her hand hit the section of his back that had been slammed to the ground he winced at the pain that it had brought about, arcing his back away from the hand, one eye closing in a pained expression.
So much for not showing it...
"M-Maybe not as much as you think. Just, do me a favor," he looked at her, forcing a warm, pained smile. "Don't do that again?"
