In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jason would not defend against Relena's attack, knowing that her element was that of lightning. Jason had a high attunement to both Lightning and Light based attacks as that was what he used at all times. So when she zapped him a bit, it did not faze him as much as others. Obviously it still did some damage, but not nearly as much as it would someone else. However, Jason continued to look at Rook who had yet to respond to him and his words.
Marluxia, however, saw this and gave something to Rook. Jason watched, trying to figure out what was going on. Marluxia then spoke to Jason telling him to look after Rook. Normally, Jason wouldn't have cared to listen, and would have attacked immediately after Marluxia started to give something to Rook. But there was something going on here that Jason couldn't understand. He looked upon Rook and immediately concentrated on his mind, hoping to figure out what was going on. He just hoped that there was nothing there to block what little amount of Mind reading powers Jason had.
After the lightning waves hit Relena, the sorceress closed her eyes, trying to concentrate and learn what had been the people´s reactions. By what she could feel from the girl´s energy, the other man had become quite wary about the book. Rosalinda didn´t blame him; after all, she HAD overdone it a bit. Perhaps a Thundara spell would have been enough. However, the thing that impressed her the most was her thunder´s reaction to the girl. It had healed her instead of hurting her. Interesting... very interesting.
Perhaps she could gain an advantage from her.
However, there was another strong presence in the room. Hmm... it faintly felt like... flora. Yes, a flora user. Perhaps she could take an advantage of this person as well; the woman had wished to learn more about the manipulation of plants for quite some time now. But for now, Rosalinda would concentrate only in the girl. Perhaps together they could find a way to free her? It was a possibility... only time would tell. For now, she would only send hints to Relena. Not too revealing such as the Thundaga spell, but still noticable.

Elaeus had probably realized how useless it would be to fight a fellow Dark XII member right in the middle of a tournament. Relena smirked and looked down at the book. Marluxia had just entered the room and handed something over to her opponent. Her energy grew darker once again as she realized that the Organization XIII member was probably giving the weak boy a healing potion. Healing potions weren't exactly something Relena enjoyed, it was a cheap way to win a fight. But she'd have to be alright with it for this round. S
he smirked and flicked the book thinking, 'I bet you're trapped, if you want to get out, give me another Thundaga if I call for it.' If one fighter was going to fight cheaply for a round, than the other fighter was free to play dirty as well. Hopefully whoever was trapped inside the book could hear thoughts or maybe voices. That way Relena could always call out "Thundaga" on the battle field. Her opponent was a Keyblade Wielder meaning that he wouldn't be the easiest to defeat. But the brackets said he had first fought Lexaeus, a very tough opponent. Though Rook did not win, Lexaeus didn't win either, meaning her opponent would be very tough.
Then Rook had faced Gilgamesh, a huge enemy who probably couldn't move very fast. While Rook won that fight, Relena could see that he barely made it out alive. Now the half-dead Keyblade Wielder would be going up a member of the Dark XII, more specifically a member of the Dark XII that had minor injuries on them and a lot of energy to spare. Relena was smart in killing Mira, she didn't use a lot of energy to do so and now could use all of the spare energy on the redheaded boy. Let the games begin, it all seemed to be playing out in Relena's favor.
((Procrastination leads to awkward post. Bear with me...))
Rook looked up as Jason healed him. He was thankful for the assist, but still very weak. He had been working an uphill fight thus far in the rounds. Large opponent versus large opponent. If it happened again, he'd be screwed for sure.
"Trust me," he coughed, nodding at Jason as he pushed to an upward position, "...He'll come." It wasn't long before Jason was grappled by another Heartless claiming to be his next opponent. too tired to rebuttal, aside from Jason having it all under control, he shrugged it off, smirking at her. FINALLY, an opponent his size. Rook never claimed to be a giant-killer, but this was getting ridiculous up until now.
Another voice spoke up. Marluxia had shown up. With a dark smirk, he let out a chuckle, taking the potion and using it immidiately. He felt fine, despite the ache in his arms. The cuts had healed up in some short regard, he was no longer bleeding from huge gaping wounds, they had scarred over with a light layer of tissue that wouldn't likely hold during a fight, but they were on the mend while the potion and Cura worked their magic ways. Given more time, he'd be in tip-top shape, if his luck held out.
What luck?
He stood upright and stretched lightly, trying to work out his joints and muscles, and eyes Relena. She threatened a friend of his. Not something Rook was about to take lightly. But it could wait until the next round. He focused instead on the larger driving force behind looking to beat a member of the Dark XII: Era.
Era. That would have been all that Jason could hear.
Ok, time to send another hint for the kiddie. Rosalinda increased her aura´s intensity once again, this time making it take a slight red colour. "Hmm, let´s see how she reacts to fire.." However, before she could launch the spell, the sorceress felt a considerable amount of harmless energy directed at the book. While she couldn´t hear thoughts or voices, the book made it possible for her to detect slightly hidden energy waves, such as mind waves and sound waves. This time, she had caught Relena´s mind waves with ease since the Heartless was trying to communicate with her. Hmm, maybe sending a message through thunder waves could work, since these were her element. Decided at giving it a shot, Rosalinda powered up her aura once more with thunder energy, preparing to send a "shocking message".
Small thunder waves came out of the book, this time heading for the blonde´s head. That way, Relena would be able to "hear" the message, since it was being sent to her brain. "I´m not one easy to bargain with. How and when do you plan to free me? I must warn you that I hate betrayals." Still surrounded by the everlasting darkness of the Book of Shadows, the woman closed her eyes, her mind alert for any future mind waves sent to the book.
