In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Elaeus was sitting in a black obsidian chair with arms carved into what looked like a spin. Pieces of the rib cage extended away from the arms outward. The legs ended with skulls giving the chair a dark appeal, which perfect suited a playground for the dead. Unfortunately, Elaeus didn't get to kill his opponent; if he wasn't so stubborn, the nobody would be dead already. With a dead nobody, he can be returned to life and wouldn't be floating about for Hades to grab; it would fade into...nothing. In short, Elaeus won his match without doing much or over exerting himself. He barely had any damages done to him.
He like it that way, because his match, well better yet his opponent, was fruitless. There was nothing to gain from it, so Elaeus didn't put any heart into it. It was obvious that the Lord of the Dead wasn't to thrilled; the match was cut short, because it was boring. If boring meant not revealing everything one can summon, then so be it. The Earth Titan was like that; plus the opponent wasn't that necessary to go above and beyond.
Lounging in the chair with a knee bent to his chest, Elaeus was alone; he was the first one to finish his first match. He wondered who else was battling and participating in the Underdome. Perhaps there was someone useful here to really fight against and use.
Marluxia appeared in the waiting room in a puff of smoke. His arm covering his mouth he gave a cough to get the smoke out of his lungs. He looked around the area only to see Elaeus. XI didn't care right now. He had won his match and killed his opponent. That's all that mattered.
Sitting down in one of the chairs Marluxia kept his gaze on Elaeus and asked, "I take it you won, Elaeus?" His fingers strumming the arm rest as he spoke.
Walking into the waiting room, albeit on the ceiling of said room, looking down to Marluxia and Elaeus. He put a finger to his chin and looked up (Down) at them. "Whatcha doin' upside down dudes? Seems like a wierd way to celebrate your first match if ya ask me.."
He had completely forgotten, as he often did, that he was the one who was truly upside down. His mind was pre-occupied with strategizing against Relena, so he couldn't quite devote himself to really "caring". Although he did watch the matches previous, so that he could get a sense of what some of the others might plan should he eventually face them.
Cracking open a small flask, filled with his favourite; coconut milk, he took a drink, and replaced the cap, without spilling a single drop; a fact he was quite proud of, it took some skill to do so upside down.
Well it's time to make the winners so far feel good about themselves. Hades walked into the waiting room to see Elaeus and Marluxia sitting in chairs and Braig.....on the roof? Typical.
"Well I don't know about you but that was pretty interesting to watch." Hades told Marluxia and Elaeus while cleaning out his left ear with his finger. He looked up at Braig and sighed.

"I would say he's preparing himself even if he's going against...her," Elaeus replied looking up at Braig. "How would you celebrate a win on your first match, or will you?" The Earth Titan asked curiously. He knew Braig's opponent; she was a member of the Dark XII.
He have noticed how some of these battles turn into the fight to the death. Hopefully Braig could restrain from actually slaying a member. Then again, only the hearts need to be collect and cast it back into the realm of darkness for it can sleep and re-develop. It seems like the life of a Heartless is like a cat; it's multiple.
Marluxia had taken out a book on botany and crossed his legs and began to read. He had known one match up. He made sure to learn one. Relena vs Braig. It amused him greatly. Upon hearing Elaeus's words he let out a small laugh.
"Rocky hit the nail on the head there, Papa Smurf." Braig took another swig from the flask of coconut milk, belching quietly, and placing it back within his pocket, before slipping to the ground, landing hard on his feet, giving a mock groan.
"First match, I'll probably celebrate with a nap, or maybe Papa Smurf here would be willing to let me surf the River Styx"
He made sure that Elaeus could see his face, and for a split second, his look was not one of the relaxed take it easy surfer, but instead, his face was obviously saying "Don't worry bro, I won't take it that far" As if he could worry at all, kinda hard when you don't have a heart.
"But enough about all of that. What're y'all plannin' if ya win?"
"I've already won my first match, I need not worry about future ones." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Papa.....Smurf? Hades had been called a lot of things. A LOT. But never that. Letting out a slight chuckle Hades replied in kind.
"River Styx you say? By all means go ahead. But only if you win got it."
Ah yes ..... The senseless violence in the Underdome. What's more, the Underworld already has a death from such battles.
Pain walked into the waiting room with a clipboard and paper in one hand, and a writing feather in the other. The little imp was blissfully unaware of the three combatants, Eleaus, Braig, and Marluxia. Time to check off Pain's to do list.
Clean up mess in Underdome - CHECK Organize the newly dead- CHECK Feed Cerberus - CHECK *Pain shuddered at the thoughts of feeding such a behemoth* Recruit Viscious Monsters - CHECK Destroy Hercules - BLANK
Pain dropped his list however, when he saw Hades in the room. "Gaaah!!" Pain paused for a moment, the demon imp pulled himself together when he realized some of the other warriors were in the room. "Hades, Your most gloomyness! I-I-I was uh ...." He did his best not get all nervous. "I was just looking over my schedule! Y-you know how busy I am! I'm not skipping my job!!" He nervously squawked.
Hades saw Pain walk into the room carrying a clipboard of things to do. The his index finger and thumb in the corners of his eyes closest to his nose he asked with slight pauses in each word, "Did you at least clean the mess Marluxia and Elaeus made? And were is Panic?"

Catching the quick message, Elaeus' eyes closed momentarily with a hum. He wondered about the battle, Braig and Relena, Relena and Braig. Something about it irked him, but Elaeus would watch from a far. There were enough Dark XII members lurking in this tournament, four to be exact.
He only came here for one reason, and it surely wasn't to win the championship. The Earth Titan is known to keep a low profile; being named as the champion, which also calls more matches to hold such title would be the antithesis of who he is. Sure he can be a loose free person, but he never liked his name being whispered about. He had enough of that during his childhood.
Crystalline eyes' opened hearing Hades replied to Braig. As much as he read, he knew to be careful when making a deal with a god. The god of the dead would be no different.
"I too had finished my first match today. A nap right now sounds lovely..."
The Earth Titan snickered at Hades question towards Pain. He did make a large mess that would take a while to clean. The arena was practically damage with uprooted rocks from the Earth.
Xavier didn't care that he lost his match. He already carefully removed those crystals in his body and patched up the wounds. He was in a dark corner of the waiting room in levitating meditation pose. He had to concentrate his mind on his wounds to employ his psychic powers to heal them better.
"Hmmmmm." Xavier sat there trying to sooth his racking mind.
"Ye-Yes sir! Of-of-of coarse sir! All cleaned up and ready for more of your twisted brutality!" Pain said with an unwilling salute, accidently poking himself on the forehead with his feather pen. "Yeow!" With the pen still sticking into his forehead, he continued. "Panic might still be busy with the Underdome, O powerful deadness."
The pudgy imp plucked it out with a frightful, dry laugh. He then picked up his clipboard. A second sheet of paper was behind his unfinished to do list. The seeds and stats of the Underdome, the Underworld, and the combatants were all finely written on it. Eleaus and Marluxia were undoubtfully cleared. Good enough to enter the next set of battles. Pain gulped when he noticed the one guy, Eleaus, snicker.
Having been sent to the waiting room without much of a say in the matter, Riku had appeared, Way to the Dawn firmly clutched in his hand still. His eyes were cast down to the ground and his stance was sullen. This isn't what he had wanted to do... he didn't want to kill anyone in the match-ups that were being played out in this tournament. His opponent didn't even deserve it....
Way to the Dawn vanished in a shimmer of light and Riku slammed a fist against the wall beside him....
"Dammit Hikari..." was all that he muttered as he clenched his jaw.
